GarageBand downloading instruments but they never appear + controller ques.

I'm using garageband '08. I love it but I was curious about what the default instruments are. Fore example, i only have two drum kits, Hip Hop and Rock. If i click on the "eye", select kits, then select one of the unhilighted instruments, a window pops up that prompts me to download essentially all my missing instruments. I select the button to update the software and the software updater appears, then says, there are no new updates for my software.
If i go back and perform the same steps and select any of the other instruments or kits a new window pops up that says, "you have already initiated the installation of additional content... for additional information open the software update application" If i open software update again the response is "no new updates"
SO, are there, or are there not additional instruments i can download for GB from apple? (i'm not talking about the jam packs"

i have an m-audio keyrig 25, anyone know how to assign the knobs and buttons in GB?

I am asked for my Apple ID and password, then given the screen to enter the review. I enter a review that is within the accepted length (having discovered that the review won't appear in the box if it is too long), enter my title, select the number of stars. . . hit Send and it appears to. . . do nothing. The wheel spins in the background, making me think something is going on, and it eventually disappears from the screen. But the review never shows up online - not days, weeks, or months later. How can I resolve this please? I think it would certainly help iBooks prosper if the potential buyers could see reader reviews and the number of stars given to a book... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Audiobooks should be in the Music menu on your iPod classic. See page 33 of the iPod Classic User Guide.

MS Word for Mac has never supported Arabic. You have to use other apps. Mellel is best, but Pages 5, TextEdit, Nisus Writer, or Open/LibreOffice should work OK.
Sometimes you can make Word for Mac do connected Arabic if you are editing a document created with Windows Word.

I removed some videos from my 4s to my computer but they still appear in a file called videos on my phone. The file Videos doesn't show up on my computer when I plug my phone in to the USB. How can I see this file on my computer when my phone is plugged in?

The "Photos section" within the Photos app is just a view of your Photo Stream, organized by dates and locations. You can see the exact same content by looking at "My Photo Stream" within the Albums section of the Photos app.
So, deleting things from Camera Roll will have no effect on Photo Stream nor the "Photos" section of the app, except for pictures in Camera Roll which may not have been uploaded to Photo Stream yet.

As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

TS4425 I follow the directions to accept the iCloud TOS but they never load on my iPad, iPhone or PC, which means I can't get Photo Stream on my Apple TV. Anyone else having this problem?

When we returned from a weekend trip, both emails were working. The obvious answer [to me anyway] is that the problem was with Roadrunner, not our minimac. The chances of finding out what the problem was with Roadrunner are slim and none.

I claim my OS X Mountain Lion but they never sent me the code

I bought my macbook pro in july 7th in the new york 5th avenue store and i claimed my mountain lion copy yesterday around mid day but they never sent me my code also when I was applying for the upgrade the webpage didn't ask me to scan my receipt or nothing, I have my claim number but what can i do with it?

You must have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite and will not work in Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion.

Every sd and micro sd we have ever bought from china has turned out to be fake (5 of them). This will cause you to loose anything that is stored on it. What they do is take a 1gb (example) and relabel it 4gb and fake format it to show 4gb capacity then when you are storing to it and it reaches the real 1gb capacity it will go corrupt and you loose all your pictures.. Don't waste your time on this and just buy it local to avoid the whole mess.
