GarageBand Ipad 2 - Sampler Questions

i just bought garageband for my ipad 2.  i want to be able to sample a chord from a keyboard with the push of a button and have that note sustain until i push another button with another chord that i want to sustain etc etc.  is this possible on with the sampler or drum machine they have?  and if this is not possible, what might be a good sampler or drum machine app to use?
lastly, where's a good manual for ipad 2 garageband with all it's new touch and smart instruments?

Knowing the developers started with a touch screen not lending itself to this use, I am impressed that any semblance of velocity sensitivity was achieved. D like to know how they did it at all.
Hopefully, with refinement of the app, we will see steady improvement.

    Transfering a file from Garageband on the Mac to Garageband in the iPad is not just a case of putting it in iTunes as a number of people seem to state.  The XML package which is the Garageband Song File has to be changed before a Garageband Mac file will be downloadable to the iPad.  This can be done manually but is time consuming and tedious.  After doing it manually a few times and making mistakes, I have created an Applescript Application to do this called:
    Garageband Mac to iPad Oneshot Converter
    I have made a video of the converter in use which I have post on my Youtube ' fixed1t ' pages.  This Application and the video solves the question above and shows the song file on the mac being moved and running on the iPad.

    I know: it's not -free-. But their exams are -very- good and actually drive you to learn more than you need to know for the real exam. That way you'll be sure to do well on the test :)

    maybe. before you spend any real money, buy a cheap ($5) adaptor to plug your 1/4" guitar cable into the 1/8" jack on your Mac. Then decide of the sound you get is acceptable to you.

    Thanks for your question, it is about the Oracle under Linux OCE? I'm working hard to get the chapters written in a new format with Q&A, exercices. Hopefully will be printed next year, after I delivery all the 15 chapters.
    unfortunately my co-author was supposed to furnish some chapters dropped the project (besides that he didn't wrote a word for that book) so therefore will the writing / editing take longer time than expected.
