Garbled V-cards and headers in e-mail

The header field in received e-mails is illegible. As well, the "V cards" in my address also are illegible: funny-looking, jammed up characters. I believe this problem is somehow connected to my address book. For the life of me I cannot figure out what is up. Help!!!!!!!

I am having a similar problem. The "from" and "to" field labels are visible, but the info in the field has a TON of extra space below it. So I see:

Oh, and on these emails I can't use the scroll bar at the right. I click the down arrow and nothing changes, so I have to grab the blue bar and slide it to the bottom, then back up...

Check the settings in the Accounts for Mail.
Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Click on your email Account in the left column > What appears under Full Name in the right column?
If that is the incorrect name you're describing change it to your correct name.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work.

I am trying to set up notifications in Calendars. I click "custom" and choose email. I get a message"You must add your own card and email address in Contacts to be able to use mail alerts." I have my own email address entered into Contacts, but don't know what this message intends, or how to deal with it. Please advise.

I am trying to add a new credit card and it keeps telling me that I have to enter a valid security code...I have tried 2 different cards and it is doing the same thing. How do I get past this?

I guess it has been a year since I last purchased something on I-tunes and my account is saying that they couldn't authorize my card for some of my purchases. I am trying to add a new credit card to clear this up and it keeps saying that I have to enter a valid security code. I have tried 2 different cards and I get the same thing. I have also added an I-tunes gift card and that isn't clearing up the money that I owe. It is showing that I have a $25 credit for that. How do I fix this, I have been trying for days and all I have got from the e-mail tech support is that its my credit card issuer that is causing the problem. Thats not correct because one of the credit cards that I am trying to use, is a prepaid Visa gift card. I know that these work on I-tunes because I have used them before in the past. I am getting very frustrated with this whole process, I just want to clear up my account and buy some new music!! HELP!!

We have an option to send mails to u201CTou201D dynamically, but are there any option to send mails u201CCCu201D and u201CBCCu201D dynamically.

As mentioned by Lucas, you can use the UDF. Inn addition to that, you need to define the Variable Headers under Variable transport binding after enabling the Adapter Specific Message Attributes.
For the Enabling ASMA, follow the below steps and check for the variable attributes.
Select the Advanced tab page.
   To save adapter-specific attributes in the message header of the XI message, select Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes and Variable Transport Binding.
The following attributes in the message header are then available for processing:
○       User: (technical name: TServerLocation)
○       Authentication key: (technical name: TAuthKey)
The following mail header fields are available for processing:
○       From: (technical name: THeaderFROM)
○       To: (technical name: THeaderTO)
○       Cc: (technical name: THeaderCC)
○       Bcc: (technical name: THeaderBCC)
○       Subject: (technical name: THeaderSUBJECT)
○       Reference to the mail that is to be replied to: (technical name: THeaderIN-REPLY-TO)
○       Reply to: (technical name: THeaderREPLY-TO)
○       Mail client program: (technical name: THeaderX-MAILER)
○       Send confirmation of receipt: (technical name: THeaderDISPOSITION-NOTIFICATION-TO)

Recently, if someone purchase small amount of the Java Card and get the JCOP, please share your information with me.

Can someone explain 'Sync' and how it sends mail

I've lost a lot of emails
Heres the scenario. Between the hours of 9pm and 4pm (work days) I disable Sync and Email Sync. So lets start with MSN (others)
Its 9pm, I launch MSN (others) email application, I hit refresh one last time, then I go into settings, account settings etc etc and uncheck the box that says 'Sync Email'
Next since I have a google account I also go into settings and uncheck the box that says 'sync email'
Then so I can get the full battery life possible I pull down my notification menu and select all and uncheck the radio button that says 'Sync'...and that lasts from 9pm as I sleep...and my work shift is like 7am to 4pm (ish) and then I will re enable it all.
Now lets say at 10am I'm going thru twitter and theres an article thats a long one and I want to read it when I get off work....I hold down the tweet and see an option that says "Share", I select Gmail because I prefer reading it off of MSN (my choice!) anyways, I can go thru and select a lot of stuff and share it, by sending an email.
Now heres the thing....I know if I were to launch my MSN Mail at 10:05am I wont get it, duh! because I have Sync off right? So once I enable each of the emails' Sync Option and enabling the Device' Sync option....I then will receive the email or emails...which I do...every single time and by everytime I mean 10 emails sent by me, per day (ish) every day for over a month.
Now....heres my problem
I was viewing web pages...I chose Share....I chose send via MSN to GMail (odd I know)...but prior to enabling Sync I actually performed a Factory Reset on Device/Phone...so it was like a brand new phone...
However once I enabled Sync and refreshed a few times I havent received the emails nor am I finding it in the "drafts or sent folders"
So I ask....what is the proper steps my phone is taking that somehow sends these "ghost emails"
Heres my theory: I mean lets say I view a webpage; all sync's are disabled; I choose 'Share to this email address'...does my phone create a file on Devices Memory and its called "sendemail1togmail.mail" and if I choose to share another webpage it creates another file called "sendemail2togmail.mail" meanwhile those are temp files...kinda like temporary files when you are downloading a file off a webpage. (aka Partial)....then when you enable Sync on all of them...it searches for any .mail files off the device and thus sends it appropriately??????
If so; great where do the files get saved to? Because next time I'm either keeping sync on or I'll just copy the files to my SD card then I'll copy it back again

sync doesn't send emails, only synchronizes between pc & phone.
yours is the goofiest way of syncing i've heard of.
i sync 4 email acc'ts, 2 are pop3, yahoo & gmail & they all work as you'd expect.

Java Card and PKCS#11 or MS CSP

Does anybody have any idea how Java Card could be integrated in an standard e-mail signing application, i.e. with Outlook, S/Mime, MS CSP and PC/SC or Netscape with PKCS#11 and PC/SC?
My understanding is that with standard ISO Cards the connection e-mail client and smart card looks like this:

3rd party USB PCI card and Leopard

I installed a USB 2.0 Compusa Card in my Dual 867 Mac several Years ago, to get USB 2.0 speeds when i got a new Ipod. When 10.4, most t=of the time, early versions not included, I was unable to put the card computer to sleep and then be able to revive it. Leopard fixed that problem, but now the card is losing ports. It is a four port card, and the currently the two inner most ports are not working. The two outer ports are still working. I have had since prior to installing 10.5 my Iphone, Dock, A USB external Drive, for time machine, A USB hub, and my Keyboard attached to the USB 2.0 card. Now the drive disappeared and I am unable to retrieve. Anyone else having this Problem, has anyone had this problem and resolved it. Any help would be appreciated. I am contemplating a New PCI USb 2.0 card, but Not sure if it is the card or Leopard, as i have not had a any problems until 10.5 and 10.5.1 installations.

I have a G4 Dual 1.42GHz (FW800) and an USB 2.0 PCI card (VIA chipset) and it also worked very fine under Tiger. Since this card is sold for the PC market it doesn't bring a driver for Mac OS X.
I went to the VIA site (http://www.via.com.tw/), there I could found they have another site with drivers for almost any OS. This is the address: http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2
Click on the Mac OS choice in the list and then in USB to get the driver. The driver version is 1.60 and it supports G4 systems ONLY and OS versions: MAC OS X 10.2.x, MAC OS X 10.3.x, MAC OS X 10.4.x. Nothing is said about MAC OS 10.5.x.
Unfortunately it doesn't work in my G4 with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). I also tried to use the USB 2.0 PCI card before installing the driver to see if Apple could have done a driver of its own, but it also didn't work.
If your card has a VIA chipset I recommend you write an e-mail to VIA Technologies, Inc. and tell your problem and ask for the update. I did it too.
I hope they can work it out soon.

Can anyone help with creating a powershell script to create a contact card and set email forwarding at the sametime?
I'm looking to import a list of 200 users via a text or csv file, create the contact card with first name, middle initial if one exists, last name, (no alias) and put the contact card in the following OU "DIS###" in the a.b.c.com domain as well
as enable forwarding to @mail.com.
I've been able to create a script to enable mail forwarding but it doesn't help me without a contact card. I hate to put this upon anyone, but my ps scripting and Exchange knowledge is still in it's infant stage and I need get this done post haste

I currently have a csv file with two columns -- one named displayname and the next call mailaddress. Under the displayname column I have the users account name (first.mi.last -- middle initial if they have one) and under mailaddress i have @mail.com.

The above script should work if the contact card has been created. Obviously I need to create the card first.

Unfortunately due to a limit in the size of the argument to the spamfilter1_string_action parameter the sieve filter that does the heavy lifting has been moved to a channel level sieve.
So to discard the email over 10, tag emails below 10 (ham & spam) and file emails from 5-10 into a spam folder you need to do the following:
Replace the previous spamfilter1_string_action with:
spamfilter1_string_action=data:, require ["addheader","spamtest"]; \
spamadjust "$U"; addheader "Spam-test: $U"
Create a file called spamassassin.filter in your msg_base/config/ directory and add the following:
require ["spamtest","relational","comparator-i;ascii-numeric","fileinto"];
if spamtest :value "ge" :comparator "i;ascii-numeric" "10" {discard;}
elsif spamtest :value "ge" :comparator "i;ascii-numeric" "5" {fileinto "spam";}

how do you deal with spam in general?At my previous employee we did what was listed above. Discard spam > 10, tag all emails with the score and filter emails into a spam folder for those emails between 5 and 10 (actually this was customisable/user but that means having a different sieve filter/user and you need to write a custom admin interface for that - most users used the default level to filter into a spam folder).
Also make sure you write an expiry rule for the spam folder so that the spam emails don't build up and consume a users quota e.g. expire emails in the spam folder greater then 30 days.

You need to first disable your antivirus and security programs and see if you can load the itunes store then. If so you know its antivirus blocking you.
Secondly due to xmas the itunes store is seeing a HUGE amount of people who got new ipods and/or gift cards. Yes Im sure apple tried to prepare for this but they can only estimate how many extra people they will have. Also SOME ISPs in local areas are limiting access for there costomers to the itunes store to save on overloads on there servers. Far as all this goes (If this is why your not able to connect) it should normalize after new years when people go back to work and school. Seems alot of people post about this issue during peak times which are normally between 8pm and around 10 pm when most people are on
