Garder ses versions CS6 installées et Installer simultanément CC

Bonjour, quelqu'un a-t-il expérimenté le téléchargement d' une version CC tout en gardant la version CS6 installée sur son PC? Comment CC gère les plugins déjà installés sur une CS6. Que se passe-t-il si on est obligé d'arrêter l'abonnement à CC?  La question peut paraître saugrenue mais lorsqu'on a de nombreux plugins, devoir tout réinstaller en cas de problème, est assez fastidieux et induit beaucoup de pertes de temps.

Suite à vos infos, j’ai testé l’installation simultanée de After Effects CS6 et la version d’évaluation de la CC. Je n’ai pas testé de lancer les fichiers d’installation des plugins et scripts après l’installation de la CC mais de faire un copier-coller manuel.
PLUG-INS  DU DOSSIER SUPPORT FILES : Par ex. la suite Trapcode Particular ou Element 3D.
Il n’est pas nécessaire de recopier tous les plugins de la CS6 dans le dossier Plug-ins de la CC. Il « suffit »  d’y coller les raccourcis correspondants. Cela représente un peu plus de travail que le simple copier coller car il faut effacer la mention « Raccourci » du nom du raccourci mais cette astuce consomme moins de place sur le disque dur (Evidement ceci n’est valable que tant que la CS6 n’est pas désinstallée !)
PLUG-INS DU DOSSIER COMMON. Pour les plugins installés dans ce dossier, par ex Shine  et Starglow de Trapcode, on crée s’il n’existe pas, un dossier « 7.0 » et un sous dossier  « Mediacore » et on y ajoute les raccourcis de tous les dossiers et fichiers contenus dans le sous-dossier « Mediacore » du dossier « CS6 ». Effacer la mention « Raccourci » des noms des raccourcis.
SCRIPTS ; Dans ce cas les raccourcis ne semblent pas fonctionner et il faut bien faire un copier coller. De plus pour les scripts demandant une clé, il faut la réintroduire lors de la première installation.
PRESETS : Pour les presets on peut également utiliser les raccourcis.
Ceci est un peu long et fastidieux mais cela fonctionne et c’est le principal.
Pour photoshop, si je me rappelle bien on peut choisir un dossier pour les plugins, cela devrait donc être plus rapide. Je verrai cela si je passe à la CC. En tout cas vos réponses m'on permis de franchir le pas vers la CC sans trop de craintes.

    Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

    I selected Repair in all of them instead of Remove and all worked but iTunes64

    I completely understand what you're saying. Since that Repair did not resolve the issue, our best option is to uninstall iTunes and its components and redownload it. To do this, we will follow the steps in this article: Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

    First, we will want to quit iTunes and/or Apple Software Update if those are open at this time.

    Rebekah, the instructions you gave says, "For Windows XP, follow these steps to remove and reinstall iTunes and other software components for Windows XP."

    This error code is not something that I am finding in my sources, Samia. So there is a chance that it is being caused with the Windows computer itself.     Nope, you can install it on your new computer with no issues. The disc contains both the 32 and 64 bit versions.

    No  i have Photoshop CS6 already om my excisting IMAC.
    I bought a new other IMAC and want my excisting PS program on that one too.
    I have a disk with the programm on it ( official version)  but that disk is in my other house in France .
    Can i copy the excisting version from my old IMAC to my new IMAC?
    Also i tried to call a helpdesk in the Netherlands  ( i,m Dutch) but they dont have ppl speaking DUTCH!!
    I got connected to an English speaking helpdesk than and they speak English so unclear and too fast for foreigners!!

    There are no keys, there is no trial version of OSX (ML or Mavericks) and Mavericks is free

  • Installer built with Application Builder gives error "Cannot install, higher version already installed"

    I am having an issue with an installer which I created with the Application Builder. I have a project that I have successfully deployed. Subsequently I created another project (and vi) which is based on a copy of the originals, both with new file names. In the renamed project file, I changed all file names, paths, and all resources, to reflect the new names. I also changed the installer’s destination and install folders, of course. I reset the executable’s version number (in the Build Specification properties) to 1.0 (the original was 1.3). I then successfully built an executable and the application installer. However, when I run the installer (setup.exe), it gives a dialog (after the license screen) that it “Cannot install” because a “higher version already installed”.
    I’ve done exactly the same thing with other vi’s and projects of mine, and never had this issue. The installer correctly installs the newly created (and renamed) version where it is told to in the project file. Also, I’ve never had a problem deploying (installing) on my development PC either.
    I have carefully checked and rechecked to make sure there is no reference to the original executable or paths. What could be causing this behavior? I want to keep the two projects completely separate, so simply changing the version to higher than 1.3 is not an acceptable solution.
    Thanks to anyone in advance for any help and suggestions.

    Yes, LV 8.5 does NOT give me control over the GUID. In the project file there are three such strings:
    "App_applicationGUID"
    "App_INI_aliasGUID"
    "App_INI_GUID"
    They all have different numbers and none of them match the GUID or PackageGUID in setup.ini. I don't know if they are related or not, but usually it's not a good idea to mess with (manually edit) files like these (project, ini, etc.) unless you know what you are doing. (For example, I do edit the setup.ini file to change some of the [Dialogs] parameters, but that is based on direction from NI support.)
    Anyway, like I said, I've made copies of projects before and never ran into this problem. At least I have a solution, however laborious, in creating a new project file from scratch.
    Let me know if anyone has more thoughts on this.

    Matt59 yes you can install Photoshop Elements 13 separately.  The evaluation process is software title specific.
