Garnishmet refund retroactive enteries error

Hai Sap Gurus,
My client needs to refund garnishment amount to an employee. The status on infotype is showing released .In order to enter the refund amount i had to change the status to reactivate for refund. However when i try to activate it gives me the error
Retroactive enteries are only possible after some date (10/05/2007).
When i double click it the perfomance assistant gives me this message
Retroactive entries are possible only after 10/05/2007
Message no. PG342
Diagnosis
You cannot change data for this infotype before 10/05/2007.
The 'Past entry all.' field (EPAST) of the Infotypes table (T582A) contains the entry 'I'. This means that checks for changes to past payroll data are infotype-specific.
System Response
The system therefore does not allow you to change this data.
I went to payroll status info type and checked the dates
Earlies RA date accounted to:09/29/2007
Earliest md change:10/01/2007
Master data change bonus:10/01/2007
I am not sure what exactly the problem is.
Please help me.
All replies are awarded with points.
thanks in advance

Alright guys,
I have been able to figure out why the error comes. Its really a simple mistake and it makes me feel stupid now.All you had to do was copy the garnishment document and then reactivate it for  refund.I was trying to  directly change it before copying so i was getting the error.
I would like to  thank the guys who took their time to help with this.
Until next time
jason.

Well, I can tell you that this kind of error is not OS related, but rather a HW thing.  It happens where there is a general detection of something going wrong.  Sometimes it can happen randomly and might not be an indication of a problem.  But sometimes it can be caused by things that are improperly functioning within the system like bad capacitors.
Unfortunately I don't really know what to do about such things except give you machine a proper inspection.  But if things are working fine, and continue to do so, I wouldn't worry about it.  If it becomes a regular occurance, then I'd worry.

  • Form with only 1 text field + ENTER: Error 404

I have several JSP pages with forms to enter/edit data. As long as I use the mouse to click the submit buttons, I get no errors. If the form has more than 1 text field to enter, i can also edit one of these text fields and press the ENTER/RETURN key which has the same effect as the submit button clicked with the mouse. But if a form just has 1 text field, I get the following error when I press the ENTER/RETURN key (instead of clikcing the submit button with the mouse):
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
This is the same case on all JSP pages that only has 1 text field: they work when using the mouse by pressing the submit button but fail when using the ENTER/RETURN key.
Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround for this?

I believe that text inputs can have their own action
attribute, so providing the same value there as in
the form may help (though by default it should defer
    to the form's action).
    So try something like:
    <form action="x.jsp">
    <input type="text" name="..." action="x.jsp"/>
    </form>
That doesn't help. The addresss bar is also always the same as the jsp pages are displayed in a html frame.

  • HT3702 How to Obtain Refund for Download Error

I made an itunes purchase got a reciept numbee with charge to my card but the media never fully downloaded to my ipod.  It remains in a mode that appears to be downloading but doesn't.  When I checked purchased items it com keeps giving me an error msg.  I just want to get the charge refunded back to my card for the purchase.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option which is revealed in the iTunes app on your iOS device by tapping the more button at the bottom of the screen.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

  • CIRCLE w/ Line thru it. DO NOT ENTER error.

I have since replaced this MMD d-125 but can't get over that it might be easily solvable. Simply put it starts out as usual grey apple w/ the time circle spinning underneath apple icon......but after a minute you realize something is wrong and between 3-7 minutes it will spin then ultimately freezing up on this grey circle w/ line / slash thru it. I have other MACS - PCs die, fry, just fail but it usually means i get NOTHING on the monitor.
-If i hold OPTION down on start i do get my HD options. But when i try booting from a disc that same error. I have old Hardware test [1.2.6] that did reveal an error on startup. the code was (post/16/4096).......this does give me some hope, the system is doing things but the fact i can't boot from a CD points to motherboard issues. i want to be smart about this, an apple cert. repair wants $60 and i replaced this once $2400 system for $400, yeah i know....but thats why i want to repair it myself by finding some 'repair' app or is there a way to completely 're-set' the hardware part ? what is Nortain ? or any other apps that can diagnose and repair, or other ideas ie : PR reset, keys you hold down on boot that bring me to startup and then i reinitialize it......i don't know. It hard to let go when i did some cool stuff on that MAC and its nice to have a back up.
    any ideas ?

Sorry, but you have encountered the Activation Lock:
    ACTIVATION LOCK
The only person who can remove it is the person who put it on. You will need to contact the previous owner and have them follow one of the sets of instructions in this link:

If you cannot do that, then see if there is any way of getting a refund from the seller. If you cannot do that, then you have a device that is unusable and won't be able to be restored.

  • R12 AR-Receipt Refund Error:ORA-01403 no data found

    Hi,all
That apply the receipt to refund and enter the refund attribute all are done well ,while I save it it dispalys a warning message:ORA-01403 no data found.
Below is the statement message I get from the fndlog_messages_
ar.plsql.ar_refund_pvt.create_refund     1 Errors found interfacing data to AP ...
ar.plsql.ar_refund_pvt.create_refund     ACCT DATE NOT IN OPEN PD
I have checked the AP period that the current period has been opened.,so I' m confused about what the problem is?Does anyone happen to this problem before?
P.S. Can anyone explain what is the effect of IBY_DISBURSEMENT_SETUP_PUB.create_external_payee during the ar refund process ?
    Regards,
    Chelsea

    Chelesa,
Certainly the error suggests that this error is related to period either in AR or AP. Take a close look on dates used.
IBY setup is called to create a party so that AP invoice can be created on that party. If you are refunding the a customer, and you do not want to create a vendor record to create one time refund (create an AP Invoice with the type as Payment Request). Hence this is called to create a party record to create AP invoice. Essentially we do not need a vendor to create an AP invoice using this method.
    Thanks

  • Automatic Po creation With MB01 i am getting Error

    Hi ,
While doing goods receipt for  Automatic Po creation i am getting error
    MM activated Automatic Po
    VM activated Automatic Po
101 Mov Type is also activated
Item 00010 of purchasing document 9999999999 does not exist
    Message no. ME706
    Diagnosis
Purchase order 00010 with item 9999999999 was not found.
    Procedure
    Enter a different purchase order.
i given  the Vendor and quantity  after entering error is coming
    Please help
    Manjunath

    HI,
Pls ceck the points mentioned below.
Define one of the purchase organizations as Standard Purchase Organization
Assign your plant to Standard Purchase Organization
Maintain purchasing information record with price
Maintain the indicator for movement types 101 & 161
Define Default Values (MB01) for Document Type
Now you can enter a goods receipt without entering the purchase order number, a purchase order will be created automatically when you post the goods receipt. All such goods receipt will be valuated at the price maintained in the purchasing information record.
First you can try this with T. Code MB01 if it is working then try with T. Code MIGO, if you face any error or functionality is not working check with your basis consultant some authorization or some patches may be missing. Ask him to apply all relevant patches.
    Thanks

  • How can I resolve a bus error in can?

I am trying to scan CAN messages with the bus monitor in the software NI-CAN 1.5 but always I have an error on the communication Bus. I just put voltage on the CAN board (2 ports low speed) and a warning appear on the Bus monitor I don't know why, also I am using a harness to communicate with UUT by Teststand and the functioning is good but in the bus monitor not. So my question is if you have another Can Bus Analizer or if this error is easy to resolve and HOW?....
    Attachments:
    error.bmp ‏1873 KB

This warning means that the CAN device has entered "Error Passive state", which means it has exceeded the allowable number of errors on the CAN bus. This may occur if your cabling is not correct. Check the NI-CAN User Manual, Appendix E "Cabling Requirements for Low-Speed CAN" for correct cabling. Make sure that bus power is applied (V+ = +8 to +27V DC), and that none of the other cable lines are shorted, or interrupted.

  • Administrative installing error

Ok for the past week I've been trying to upgrade or uninstall adobe air. I'm running on a windows vista SP2 32-bit. The error I receive when I try to upgrade, uninstall or install is "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." I've tried everything from trying to install throught the command prompt in administrative mode, using back up safe mode and running as administrator, opening the hidden administrator account, and many others. Some how I was able to uninstall my old version of adobe air but I still can't install the updated or later versions. I would grately appreciate the help and I got this note pad before the old version somehow dissappeared...
