Gas stations won't accept my Mario Kart $10 gas coupon.

I preordered Mario Kart 8 and got my $10 MasterCard gas coupon but gas stations won't accept it. I told them to just punch the numbers in but they all say they're not allowed to do this. Is it possible to get a card with a magnetic strip instead? Thanks!

Thanks. Yes, able to select as you said in "other" (but not under "wanadoo") so at last got past password. Airport status tells me I'm connected but Safari says I,m not connected, so doesn't work.(now on old dial up). However, this is probably Wanadoo connection problem rather than Mac. Thanks again

Mario Kart 8 Gas Card Issue - Wrong final price

What Bestbuy did is remove money from the game but add the gas card seperately. What this does is cause the 20% off to have a lower amount due to the fact it's taken % off from a lower number. For example, on my account it shows Mario Kart 8 at $32 + $8 gas card.
The total adds up to $40. It really should've added to $38 because it would take $12 off $60 price, making it $48 but then $10 gift card = $38.
This oversight is causing people to have less of a discount and being charged more.

Time Capsule won't accept my user name and password for access - Help!

Hi all,
My Time Capsule seemed to stop working one day and I had to do a hard reset with the little button at the back. After that it worked and I restored my wireless network settings but now I can't access the Time Capsules hard drive with Time Machine.
When I try to choose it as my Backup Disk in the Time Machine preferences it says "Enter your user name and password so Time Machine can access the file server "Our Time Capsule" (the name of my time capsule). However, every time I try to enter my password I get "Sorry, you entered an invalid username or password".
I've already tried several resets of the Time Capsule and I've also tried logging on my computer as the Root user and changing my administrator account password back and forth but no go.

Consider the following:
*_Time Capsule Keeps Asking Me For a Password_*
It will be important to know what is going on, or what you are doing when it asks for the password. Is it asking for a password only when Time Machine attempts a backup? Consider this:
It is NOT your username and password it wants when you try accessing the Time Capsule. (I know... it SAYS "username and password") But it means the Time Capsule's Name and Password.
You will find that by launching Airport Utility.
Select the TC on the left.
Click "Manual Setup".
Click the "Time Capsule" Tab.
You will see "Time Capsule Name:" and "Time Capsule Password".
Make sure “Remember password in keychain" is checked.
That is the information you need to enter when it asks for "username & password."
*I Don’t Remember What My Time Capsule Password Is*
You can see what your current TC password is by going into Keychain.
Open your Keychain and select "login" from the Keychains pane in the top left. Highlight "Passwords" in the Category pane from the lower left.
Sort all the items by Kind. Note everything labeled "Airport...". How many do you have listed? There should only be one "Airport base station password" for each base station that you have active. Also, there should only be one "Airport network password" for each network you have created. If there are more than these, then delete all but the ones with the most recent Modification date.
To see what passwords are being stored, double-click your Time Capsules' entry. A new window will appear.
Put a check beside "Show Password". You may be asked for your own Admin password so enter that.
Now the Password field will display the password you entered into Airport Utility for your Time Capsule
*It Still Won’t Accept the TC Name and Password*
Launch Airport Utility --> Manual Setup.
Select "Disks" in the tool bar above.
Click the "File Sharing" tab.
Is "File Sharing" checked? It should be.
What is selected beside "Secure Shared Disks"? If it says "With Accounts" or "With a Disk Password" then the system will ask you for a password every time it mounts the TC hard disk. If you switch it to "With Time Capsule Password" then use the password you designated earlier in the “Time Capsule" tab. It should only ask you once and then never again - because you had checked "Remember password in keychain".
If you have made any changes then click "Update".

Digital Download - Mario Kart 8 Add-On

I've been waiting, hoping that Best Buy would finally add the Mario Kart 8 DLC to its site in order to make my purchase with BB instead of GameStop.
The bundle consists of 2 separate packs, one with a release date of 11.13.14, while the other will not be out until May. I was excited to see that it finally showed up on the website (SKU: 1000005174). However, it's still listed as a pre-order with a release date of 11.30.14.
Again, Pack 1 was released on 11.13.14, and the bundle has been available at GameStop since that date. I assume that it's either 1 code for the pack, or that a 2nd code will be emailed in May.
As I said, I'd rather purchase from BB, but I'm a bit concerned that since it's still showing up as a pre-order, that the code(s) will not be sent until both DLCs are released in May. If the code won't be sent before Christmas, I'm going to have to go with GameStop.
Hopefully someone will be able to provide me with information regarding this.

My custom iTunes Radio station won't play on my iPhone 4S or iPad 4.

That station was created on my iPhone and edited on my iPad. When I touch the station in an attempt to listen, its name pops up for a split second, until the radio page returns to normal. What's going on here?

Have gone here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3510 but none of that applies - I only have one apple ID. I have tried to set up a new apple email address, and have tried to use my work email (non-apple).
I have just discovered I can receive a Face Time call on my iPhone but not on iPad, and can dial out on facetime on iphone, but it still won't accept my email address. On my iPhone contacts I have the option to call using face time but not on iPad.

Airport utility won't accept my apple ID

I just got an update on my Macbook Pro and when I rebooted it came up with Airport Utility. It said could set up Back to My Mac. However Back to My Mac won't accept my apple ID. Also Airport says my Time Capsule firmware needs updating. But I can't seem to do this without my Apple ID, which I have repeatedly put in and it won't get accepted. I checked with ITunes so I know my username and password are correct - they work fine with ITunes. I would like to at least be able to upgrade the Time Capsule firmware. Please!

The AirPort routers have two passwords.
One is a base station or device password, used to access the settings on the AirPort
The other password is a wireless network, used to join the wireless signal that the AirPort produces.
If you have forgotten a password, you can use a Soft Reset procedure to reset one or both passwords. See this Apple support document for details:

How can I access my iCloud email account when I don't remember the password and Apple won't accept the answer to my security question?

I set up an email account with " @me.com". I get a wrong password message when I try to log in. When I try to change my password I get an INcorrect answer message to the security question I'm asked my birth date so I know I have it right, unless I did a typo when I set up the account. When I choose email me the reset password lnk I cannot retrieve the email because it won't accept the password. I wanted to justemail Apple for instructions but cannot find an email address for that. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried that without any luck. I was hoping I could get Apple to reset it for me or delete the account so I could recreate it or at least tell me what is listed as my birth date, the security question answer.

When I try to access the Apple store to install a game on my Iphone3g, another person's email address comes up on the page that asks for my password. Has someone hacked my account? It won't accept my password because it's someone else's ID!!!

What id shows in Settings > iTunes & App Store ? If it's the old one then tap on it and log out of it and then log in with the updated version

Same situation. I installed iOS 8 beta 4 on my iPhone 5 and a few days later my iCloud account disappeared. My contacts and calendar entries are gone.
My Mac Mini and MacBook do sync as they should with iCloud.
When I try to log in to iCloud on the iPhone (the username shows "[email protected]" and password shows "required"), I put in my username and password and tap "Sign In", It says "Verifying" at the top and after a while checkmarks appear next to my username and password. Then I get an error message saying "An error occurred while trying to save the iCloud account". If I tap OK the message goes away, leaving my username and password intact (checkmarks are now gone). If I tap "Sign In" again I get a message saying " '[email protected]' is Already Added. This iCloud account has already been added to your iPhone". If I go back to Settings and then go into iCloud again it's not set up and appears as I stated at the beginning of this paragraph.
Nothing works and the sync does not occur. Contacts are empty and Calendar has no entries.

How can two people use both of their shared credit cards on each of their two iPhones if the credit card numbers are the same but the names are different? The iPhone won't accept the second card because it says that it's already been loaded.

Only one credit card can be on an iTunes account at any one time - presumably if they are shared credit cards with the same card number then it's the same credit card account with the one bill, so from a billing/payment point of view does it make any difference which card is on the account(s) ?
