Where can i find the Gateway hostname and gateway service name for XI Integration server. I need this info to input for creating RFC for SAPSLDAPI.

You can find this info from t-code SMGW
Choose menu Goto->Parameters->Display and search for entries
gateway hostname and gateway service (usually sapgw00)

Error in Creation of Service Name for Bussiness Service

I am creating customized Service Program for Bussiness Service which is used for uploading spotbilling data to ccb . The service program CM_Sbm_Upload consists of program com ids CIPBSEGP,CIPMMRDP,CIPTSATP . when i give this to bussiness service i am getting error

I've got the same error during my development of a page maintenance service.
Please check if the cm.jar is correctly deployed in your splservice.ear and check also all other deployment directories.
You can find them in the Output window of eclipse after execution of the "Deploy CM" script.
When the cm.jar is deployed well, check if you annotations are correct.
My annotations are looking like this:

the name of the service annotation that you have specified on your Page Maintenance Service, in my case "CMIMDIMP".
There is no validation during the saving of the service programm, the validation happens when you save the Business Service.
BTW. you can use jd-gui.exe to decompile the cm.jar file but you will not see the annotations !
For viewing the ear file I'm using 7-zip.

I've been seeing messages exactly like that (and many, many other kinds) in the Console since the first version of OS X. They look menacing but are harmless.
You don't need any kind of security software.
Just surf the web carefully, pay attention to where you're going and don't install anything that you don't recognize. If you are asked to enter an admin user name and password, DON'T. Unless you know for sure that you initiated the installation from a known and reliable source (like Apple).
Mac malware relies on social engineering. No amount of security/anti-virus, blah, blah, blah software is going to help.

Running a sample PAM consumer using 'winsamp' as its service name complains that Kerberos doesn't know the user. syslog reports: PAM-KRB5: account: unable to get host based service name for realm 'EXAMPLE.COM'.

Part of the problem was that the Sun server's domain was not an exact match for the ADS domain. One was XXXX.EXAMPLE.COM and the other was just EXAMPLE.COM. Adding the equiv. domains in krb5.conf improved that situation.
The sample PAM application still doesn't behave the way I want. When pam.conf is configured to authenticate against /etc/passwd, it works. Not when authenticating against ADS alone. I've come to the conclusion that PAM is for authenticating ONLY access to Solaris accounts.
My application does not need a Solaris account. Am I using the wrong authentication API?

You can configure Hotmail to work on the iPhone. It's working great on mine!! You have to upgrade to a Hotmail Plus account (although, apparently they will be offering POP3 on free accounts, as well, sometime within the next year). It sounds like POP3 on the paid Hotmail accounts is something that was just "officially" enabled last week. I found an official announcement from one of the Lead PMs for Hotmail - take a look, here:

I just upgraded my Hotmail account to Hotmail Plus yesterday and now my mail works from my iPhone (it was not working yesterday before I upgraded my account). Here are the iPhone mail settings I am using successfully (the email addresses and passwords are just examples, of course):

Hostname and file sharing names don't match

I have a very strange problem... I am running OS X 10.7.2 on my Mac Pro. My Computer Name / Hostname doesn't match what is shown for my computer name on the Sharing panel under System Preferences for File Sharing, Screen Sharinging etc.
When I go to System Preferences -> Sharing, my Computer Name is "gascan-mac" which is what I get in the terminal of my system. However when I selected Screen Sharing or File Sharing the details about this service on the left show "vnc://mac-mini/" for the Screen Sharing address and "afp://mac-mini" for File Sharing and "http://mac-mini/" for Web Sharing. What is up?
I have rebooted multiple times and nothing fixes this. If I go to another system and ping using "mac-mini" I get a response from the correct address. So something in the system is set to this name but I can't find where to change it.

I don't see your problem.
There is little to no connection between your machine's own hostname and DNS - which is what everyone else will be using to lookup your host via.
In other words, according to the DNS for your network, the IP address in use by your machine has the 'mac-mini[.whatever]' hostname.
The Sharing preferences hostname is pretty much used by Bonjour/Zeroconf so your machine likely also has the name 'gascan-mac.local' but that's not directly connected to your DNS.

Split PDF and use field name for file name

I have a pdf file with 333 pages that I will be splitting into 333 separate pfd files. Each file needs a specific name that corresponds to a number located in the header of each individual page.
Splitting the pdf is easy, unfortunately I can only use a static name for part of the file name and Adobe assigns the remaining portion with: _Part1.pdf; _Part2.pdf ect.... How can I get the "_Part1" to pull in the number located in the header of each individual page?
I need to have this done before tommarow morning and there is another PDF which will be 555 files after it is split.

Service name for logoff screen in SICF

   I want to close the browser window using a button click from my WDA application and to achieve this I have followed the blog
/people/mohammed.anzys/blog/2007/06/05/how-to-close-parent-window-in-webdynpro-applications
   But step number 6 of the blog says that we need to change the logoff page. Can someone suggest me what is the service name I should put in the SICF transaction wherein I can change the logoff page.
   Also, I have also tried the alternate solution mentioned in the blog but it didn't work.
   Can someone provide me some helpful input.

Have you created the WDA Application for your Web Dynpro Component. Once you create an application and save it, a Service should get created @ this SICF level. And Also tell me if you were able to locate any other Custom ZService in SICF. If not, we can investigate the problem further.

XML scheme and Web services enhancement for MS Word integration in CRM 2007

I am trying to use the Template designer and the web services tool in order to create a MS Word template for the quotation.
We have created a new web service, using the Web Service Tool
(transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB, type WS_DESIGN_TOOL). I can use this web service when creating a quotation word template and everything works fine.
I need to enhance the web service with some custom fields and logic. I found the blog:

The blog describe how to enhance the web service, extend the output
structure etc.
We have done all the steps in the blog, and everything looks fine. When
we test the web service, using the Web Service Navigator, all the new
fields we added to the output structure are displayed. The WSDL
document also looks fine, displayed from the Web Service
Administration.
The problem occur when try to create the word template using the
Template Designer. The XML scheme is not displayed in the word
document. This only happens if we use an enhanced web service.
Anyone familiar with this issue?

You may have to upgrade your MS word 2003 to MS Word 2007.
Before you do that please opening View > toolbars > Task Pane and check if you can get XML Schema from the web service.

Lenovo support site, warranty lookup and warranty service unavailable for 72 hours?

Hello, I've got a newly purchased Lenovo Yoga 2 13 with a confirmed hardware issue. I'd like to take advantage of the on-site support I purchased and it appears that's currently impossible. Here are the issues I've encountered.
I began at the Lenovo Support site: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/
I tried the Check Warranty Status tool ( http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/warrantylookup ) just to verify my new laptop and warranty are accurately listed in Lenovo's systems. No luck, the form has been returning a "Service Busy" error for the past hour.
I then tried to submit an Online Service Request ( http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/submitrequestonline ) to schedule the repair. Again, no luck. The page is broken and has no form or links on it (see below). Same result in multiple browsers over the past hour.
I finally called Lenovo technical support. Doing that was difficult because the support phone number is not listed anywhere visible on the Lenovo Support site - I had to find it through the FAQ here in the forum. The phone rep asked me some questions and then suggested I work with the vendor where I purchased the laptop. But it was purchased from Lenovo.com, so this is Lenovo's problem. The rep then informed me that the Lenovo technical support system is "being upgraded" and will be unavailable for the next 72 hours until Tuesday 8/12. I was unable to get a case number and will need to call back or submit a new request online (when and if the online form is repaired).
A next-day, on-site warranty is kind of pointless of it takes 2 business days before you can even request service. Not a good first impression, Lenovo. How about acknowledging the "system upgrade" on the support site or forum so customers know what's going on?

Does anyone know of any other options, or do I need to send my phone back to a service centre in Australia?
For a warranty claim, there is no other option.

Airport problem with iMAC 27" and serious service support for indonesia

i can't seem to get any help from anywhere else. so i try to post it here.
i tried to call the apple store (indonesia) which i bought this imac 27" from. got transfered 4 times and i had to explain it to them all over. in the end i got to speak to the technician and i asked whether i can get a replacement and they don't think it's the correct solution and leave me hanging here.

i called the apple support on the apple.com (0018 03061 2009 for indonesia) today wednesday 19 may 2010, time 1:12pm indonesia local time (GMT +7) i didn't get the guy's name but i can tell he's Indian from the accent, i told him what the problem is, he told me to wait, i waited for 10 minutes and he hung up on me at 1:24pm. please check on the record, because i was told the whole conversation was recorded.
so, let's go to the problem:
i can't share my internet with airport built-in in my imac 27".
I'm using ZTE usb hsdpa modem connected to the imac. (fyi, my friend is using the same exact modem and internet provider and don't have any problems with internet sharing using his macbook)
i tried to share the internet through the airport express simply with these steps:
1. open the system preferences, internet sharing,
2. connection with "ZTE usb modem", and the box next to "Airport" is ticked
3. turn on the internet sharing
4. press start
5. yes the firewall is off.
and these are what i'm having right now:
1. the airport symbol wont turn into an arrow
2. when i open the network preferences, it says: AirPort is turned on but is not connected to a network. (color is orange not green)
3. i searched the wireless network with my ipod touch and i found nothing
4. if i try to "create a network" here's what it says "There was an error creating your computer-to-computer network."

If you have anything configured in System Preferences/Network/Airport then you have conflicts configured into the network. I suggest that you start from the beginning. Do not assume anything. Do not take any short cuts. Start fresh.
Go to Sys Prefs/Sharing turn off Internet Sharing. Go to Sys Prefs/Network, highlight AirPort and press the - symbol below to remove the AirPort interface. Now press the + symbol and create a new AirPort Interface. In the new AirPort interface do not turn on AirPort. You should only select the box to show AirPort Status in the menu bar. Now press Apply.
Go to Sys Prefs/Sharing and follow the steps 1 through 11 in my first post.
In step 11 Sys Prefs should ask you to turn on AirPort. Turn it on. It should next ask you to start Internet Sharing. Start Internet Sharing.
The AirPort Status in the menu bar should show AirPort is on and have an arrow pointing up. In the AirPort Status dropdown menu it should show AirPort is ON, Internet Sharing is ON and it should show the name of the Internet Sharing network that you created.
