Gateway Offline for Days Now

I have not been able to log into my home monitor for 3 days. I receive a message that the gateway is off line. So When I click on the troublshoot link, it opens a window with a list of things to check like - is it plugged in? is the ethernet cable connected? etc...
While kinda obvious, I understand those are the first things to check. Theres one problem - I am In NY and the house I want to monitor is in Florida. The whole purpose of installing the system was so that I could monitor it from "anywhere" as the promos claim. Well how am I supposed to remotely troublshoot the unit? I am not about to jump on a plane to see if the darn thing is plugged in. Theres no reason anything has changed since I left the house. I was viewing it for about 3 days making sure it was working, and everything was fine. Now I have nothing and it seens there is nothing I can do about it until I go back down to Florida. Not much home monitoring going on here. 

I think this is a perfect palce to post this message. How else would you know that it isn't just isolated to you? Verizon did a firmware upgrade that went horribly wrong. If you look at your Gateway's activity it will say it is on and offline a dozen times an hour. It doesn't recognize any of the devices since it can't communicate with them. Hard reset and power cycling don't work. The fix will have to come from them. I'm on day 3 and I have been told to be patient, which I will. I have to be, I vested $400 in hardware. Hope it gets fixed soon and lives up to its potential. - Derek

    In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:

    Apple does not offer custom colors. I'd suggest you get a skin for your iPod. Those are available in hundreds of colors and patterns and since they're not permanent, they don't affect the iPod's warranty and you can change if you ever get tired of the skin you chose.

    Delete what? The ID's? They cannot be deleted - you just quit using it.
    If you still have one old ID - that you have purchased content with - you are saying that the password no longer works with that ID? Did you try to reset the password for that ID?
    Read this - instructions if the ID was disabled for entering the wrong password.

  • Can not complete downloads or updates on any apps. Just says "waiting" for days now

    Can not download or update apps.  For days now it just says "waiting".
    Any suggestions?

    Is it also possible that you have a movie or song or podcast that coudl be 'stuck'? That's happened with many people. It's like the download pipe is a one lane road and any 'broken down' download jams up traffic behind it until it's deleted or resolved.

    Are you trying to convert your files from within Adobe Reader? If so, please make sure that you have the most current version by choosing Help > Check for Updates. Earlier versions of Reader could cause the specific error that you're reporting.

  • App store updates broken regarless of device or iOS version for days now?

    Your Apple App store updates are just plain broken.(period)! It doesn't matter the device or the iOS release. 
    I have various devices, ipod Touch(s) several versions, iPhones, Ipads several versions and it makes no different which iOS or device;  some are at 3.1, some are at 5.1 and some are at iOS6.  All show app updates, NONE seem to get conected or work by staying connected.
    I have done hard resets on all devices(more than once),  and if you delete and APP  you can NOT stay connected to re-download the APP;  update times out right after it starts to update and then quits...  It doesn't matter if it is a single update or Update ALL  and it doesn't matter which APP.
    you might can get one to update if you like try 20 times.....  this has been going on for at least 4 days now.  Apple PLEASE get this FIXED or provide a work around via support announcement / notes.....  You can't download then either as it times out so this is costing you Apple money.

  • (edu.mit.kerberos.krb5kdc) Job chrashed.  Every 10 seconds for days now.

    My console is showing that com.apple.launchd[1] (edu.mit.Kerberos.krb5kdc) Job appears to have crashed: Segmentation fault. Throttling respawn: will start in 10 seconds.
    Then it saves a crash log.
    Does anyone know how to fix this? I am not sure when it started but it has been going non-stop for days. Every 10 seconds - Crash and log.
    I called apple support and they had me reboot into safe mode. Not sure why, but it didn't help.
    Please help if you can.

    I just had this same problem on my server. The only difference is it is an Xserve insted of a Mac Mini.
    I restarted the whole operating systems and that appeard to have fixed the problem but I do not know what I cause was.

  • I recently installed the new system on my iphone 5 and now the iCloud Drive keeps Upgrading (buffering) for days now eating up my battery.  What to do?

    I have an iPhone5 that has the iOS 8.0.2 software installed.
    Since the installation iCloud Drive keeps Upgrading (buffering) and I can't get it to stop.  In the meantime, it is eating up my battery.
    The other problem is that I now have to shut the phone down using the top button so that the icons page goes away and my phone goes black.
    I have lost 8% of my charge in one hour and have only sent 1 small text.
    Can anyone help please?

    Sorry to tell you but unless you have a Retail Apple Store close by, they are the only ones I have found with all the adapters and accessories. I bought an extra lightning to usb adapter the other day to use in my truck. Good luck....

    It is not just one site I am in - it just keeps crashing - asks me if I want to start over or go back but never goes back so have to completely get back into mail or whatever. It's becoming very annoying and will have to go to another internet site because this is just not right.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble using your Acrobat.com subscription. I've checked your account, and there are no issues there.
    Is the problem specific to one PDF file, or are you running into the same problem with multiple files? How large is the file (or files) that you're trying to upload? Are they complex (large number of pages; mix of text and graphics)?
    Let's start with some basic troubleshooting:
    Clear the browser cache and try again.
    Try a different browser (see System requirements | Acrobat.com for a list of supported browsers).
    Make sure that there are no firewall or proxy settings that are limiting your access to the Internet.
    Let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble, we can take a closer look at the files that you're trying to convert.

  • HT2155 Ive been trying for days now to set up gmail.  I always get the message "user name or password for imap.gmailcom is in correct" I know for a fact that my onfo is correct.

    Just so you are aware this is a user to user forum, so the replies you get here are mainly from users like your self. You have provided very little info to go by and my suggestion below is just a guess.
    You may have downloaded the LR 5 Creative Cloud trial version and trying to input the perpetual version license key, that will not work.
