Gateway total call restriction

hi all,
There is implementation of Gatekeeper in distributed (CME only) model for CAC. Is it possible to define in the gateway to allow certain number of incoming/outgoing call (if gatekeeper is not implemented).
Regards
Naresh

There are a number of call treatment options.
You can do it on CPU utilization, a certain amount of calls over an interface, and many others.
There's more information on the call treatment and call threshold information here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t11/feature/guide/ftcac58.html#wp1069155
As well, the 'call treatment' and 'call threshold' command reference is helpful.

  • How to track total call duration & data usage for ...

How do I track my total call & data usage for Nokia Lumia 620. I had search for datasense from the store however unable to find? Is there any other applications that can be use to track.

Datasense requires network support so if you can't see it your network doesn't support it. Some networks have their own apps in the store for monitoring data and some have mobile websites for that purpose.
The only other app that can do it is "call credit" but it doesn't support every network, install it and see if yours is supported.

    Hi.
I have a quick question here,
For the awr report, the ‘Top 5 Timed Events’ section, does anybody knows how the ‘%Total Call Time ‘ is calculated for each event listed there?
Top 5 Timed Events Avg %Total

    Hi,

What is meaning of waits and % Total Call Time in Top 5 Timed Events in AWR report? Waits is the number of times a session waited on a particular call
% Total Call Time is the total time spent in this event divided by the db time, converted to a percentage.
It gives you some idea of how signifcant this event was in the total time spent waiting by the user. Unfortunately the SQLNet times are excluded in the calculations, so there is a component of time that (from the end-users' perspective) is lost.
How to read AWR report?Where i have to start from it?
The best place to start is probably still the white paper about statspack produced by Oracle 11 years ago: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/focus-areas/performance/statspack-opm4-134117.pdf
How the values are calculated in awr? For example db time is 556.15 and elapsed time is 1,439.73 .
elapsed time is the clock time between the start and end time of the snapshots, reportedin in minutes - in your case your report covers 24 hours which is generally far too long to be useful.
db time is the time your sessions were active "inside" the database - again in minutes - and it's a measure of how much time you spent working. It is the sum of wait time and CPU time.

  • UC320W - Call restrictions for internal calls

Related to my previous post (19 Oct one way audio). Do i need to add the internal dialling key code (eg 2xx) to the call restrictions? I don't see it in any of the full, expanded or basic privilege levels. If so, how do i add this? I am using firmware 2.3.2(6)

  • Supervisory desktop Total calls not showing correctly

    Hi,
We are running UCCX 8.5.1.11003-32, In the supervisor desktop what I know is Total calls = Handled calls+Calls Abandoned+Calls Dequeued.
But one of our CSQ is showing an extra call always in the Total calls, ie, Total calls = Handled calls+Calls Abandoned+Calls Dequeued+1.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Does this happen regularly? We have had a similar issue, im not exactly sure what the root cause is, but rebooting the server after hours fixed the issue. Someone else may give you more specific troubleshooting steps

  • Total calls presented does not match with the calls presented value in CSQ activity report (by interval)

    Hi,
We encountered a mismatch details between the call presented value and total call presented value. I attached the report here. If you count the number of calls presented and handled there are 2 calls but why is it the total calls only count 1. Where did the other call go?
I look for some possible related problems but the answer only point out to a bug. The version of UCCX is 8.5.1 SU 3 and the bug was solved in version 7.0.
Hope you can help me with this issue.
    Thanks and regards,
    Rona

It looks like it may be an issue with the report file itself and not the report data. You can see both calls are shown in the report but the summary information doesn't appear to be calculating correctly. If you have the Crystal Reports Developer toolset you can open the report file and verify that the report summary is using SUM instead of something like MAX/AVG, etc.

  • Call Restrictions feature don't have Restrictions ...

    Hello,
I have a Nokia 2330 classic, the silver and black phone. Honestly, I love my little phone, and I wanted to start with some standard before I dish out $100 + bucks for my first phone back with T-mobile without a contract (no commitments, which I love). Please help me with the Cancel all call restrictions (requests the system to cancel al call restrictions) option located within Call restrictions which is located within Security which is located within Settings. Settings > Security > Call restrictions > Cancel all call restrictions It keeps asking me for a Restriction password which I contacted T-mobile several times and they don't have a clue why my phone is requesting this. T-mobile doesn't even know the password for this feature on my phone, and they tried providing me several codes which they thought my work such as 1234 (the default code) with no success. I'm glad with all the random codes after the default they (T-Mobile) had me enter as the restriction password for canceling all the call restrictions I didn't cause any further problems to my phone such as being locked out but luckily it isn't like a PIN Code or Security Code then I would have. Their last result for me was I had to submit a exchange request for another phone. But at my level of frustration/lack of faith with T-mobile, I refuse to purchase a completely different phone with them at full retail price because I said to them how will I know the next phone I receive won't encounter the same problem. I chose to exchange my phone for the same make and model, and I'm waiting for them to process the request. It would save me a great deal of time and money (they will be charging me the same amount for my current phone for the exchange, but they said they would credit me back the amount of my current phone within 30 days of receipt of the "defective" one). Also, I grown attached and quite fond of my Nokia 2330 within the 1 day I had, so I don't want purchase another phone at full retail price just yet. I hope for their sake and mine that the exchange phone which is the same make and model will let me access this feature without entering a password. Last but not least, T-mobile contacted Nokia and was told that my phone shouldn't be requesting a password to cancel al call restrictions and offered the solution to restore all settings. It didn't help a bit, so if anyone out there encountered a similar issue with their phone then I will love to hear about it and the resolution.
Thanks for your time, your help, and your consideration!
    Very Sincerely,
    K.Jones
Have a wonderful day & Thanksgiving Week!
P.S. They want me to once I receive the exchange take the SIM card out of my current phone and put it into the exchange phone. I informed them (T-mobile) if I can't access this feature on the exchange phone then my next call will be requesting a refund. Additionally, I will be not purchase another phone from T-Mobile, but through a third party that is unlocked. I do want to keep my service since I haven't experienced any problems with it yet. Any suggestions just in case? :-D

    Hi,
I am supporting as Tech Support for a network provider (Mobily, KSA)
I have the issue related with call restrictions, as nokia handset doesn't support for call restrictions
either it may be Call barring, in this call barring you will get options as International call barring(Incoming/Outgoing)
All call barring(incoming/outgoing). So to cancel all the barring services you need to enter PIN2 as service provider provides PIN1 and PIN2. So ask PIN2 and enter in to Barring Calls all the Barring action will be Canceled
You won't get a second chance to create a first good impression.

You can try the Call credit app to see if your network provider is supported.

  • International Calling Restrictions.

    Dear Team,
I want to configure int call restriction for specific country for few users instead of providing int calling permission at all.
Please advise how to achieve this?
    Thanks

Create a specific route pattern for that country and select "Block this pattern" in Route Option and put it in a separate partition , suppose  block_pt.
Now create a new css (block_css) and add that partition in that css.
Finally apply that css on directory number "line css".

  • Dangers of calling restricted procedures from when-validate-item

As you'll all know, you cannot call the restricted procedure go_item from within the when-validate-item trigger.
I've read that it is possible to get round this utilising timers, and I have managed to get this working.
However, I cannot help but think such procedures must be restricted for a reason. Therefore, I'd like to know if there are any known problems that might arise from implementing timers to call restricted procedures?
    Thanks
    Matthew

Certain types of triggers can't call restricted procedures because there is internal navigation or validation going on during the trigger execution, and the restricted procedures could mess that up. However, when you use a timer, the restricted procedure doesn't execute until after the trigger has finished, so the internal navigation/validation is complete. Because of this, the timer technique is a safe one. If it's a non-repeating timer, it should have very little effect on network traffic and performance.

  • CUCM 9.x with Gateway - Troubleshoot call leg

    Guys,
    We have a CUCM 9.x at a main site (Site-A),  with a h.323 Gateway.
The h.323 Gateway have a Sip Dial-peer with another cisco pbx in another Country (Site-B).
In the past, people at Site-B used to called 816XXX to reach Site-B devices, and People in site-A can dial 83XXXX to reach people at site-B.
I know that some change occured in the last two weeks, since that it longer work for inter-site call.
I know that the IOS of Site-A has been updated to a 15.1   ( BUT we did add the IP address truested command to trust all PBX )
    But still it's not working..
I did a debug voip dialpeer,  and I would like to have your opinion
When user from Site B dial : 816999
It’s going well to our router at Bellevue, as expected
    040331: 5d10h: //-1/856FEA4E80C4/DPM/dpAssociateIncomingPeerCore:

    destination-pattern 6...
    session target ipv4:10.AA.XZ.ZZ
    dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
And one have a recommendation ?

You will need to see in depth into the h225 and h245 signalling as well ass the CCAPI process..
    You should do this
    debug voip ccapi inout
    debug h225 asn1
    debug h245 asn1
To capture all of these logs..you need to properly setup your gateway as follows
    service sequence-numbers
service timestamps debug datetime localtime msec
    logging buffered 10000000 debug
    no logging console
    no logging monitor
    default logging rate-limit
    default logging queue-limit
    Then..
    <Enable debugs, then test again.>
<Enable session capture to txt file in terminal program.> (such as Putty)
    then do the ff:
    terminal length 0
    show logging
You can attach the logs here in a text file

  • Keeping track of total call time within current mo...

My new phone account has limited calltime included.. how can I keep track of the total time on outgoing calls in a given month? ( N8 )

Would you prefer a third party app or an inbuilt one? You can use the call log option on your phone, and check the "dialled numbers" timer. You would see how many minutes you have used. You can just clear these counters at the end of each month.
For third party app, you can try this: http://store.ovi.com/content/132391

  • GSM/GPRS gateway with Call Manager ?

Do CISCO make a GSM/GPRS gateway / interface card ?
To make sure I am using the correct terminology, I'll explain what I want to do.
I want a gateway registered with Call Manager (in the same way my e1 equipped 2821's are) but instead of using an e1, use up to 30 mobile SIMS so I can forcecalls to mobiles through this gateway and get "mobile-to-mobile" rates rather than "land-to-mobile" rates.
In order to achieve this, do I get a 3rd party box and connect this to the e1 interface of CISCO router - and this 3rd party box emulates an e1 ? meaning the use of mobile SIMs is transparent to the CISCO router (it just sees an e1). Do CISCO make/rebrand this type of device ? Is there a WIC/interface card that achieves this with a CISCO router ? Or a specific piece of CISCO equipment for this purpose ? Does anyone have any experience/recommendations ?
Just to clarrify, this is literally for voice calls only and cost savings based on "mobile-to-mobile" rates/call allowances in an active Call Manager 4 deployment, there is no data requirement. UK based.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.
