I gave my daughter my original iPhone reset as an ipod touch. Now she wants to replace her phone with it. How do we activate it as a phone again. AT&T said we have to go through iTunes.

Yes you do. If your daughter already has or signs up for an iPhone plan with AT&T (which she can have without the 2-year minimum contract because she already owns her phone), then she can activate it using iTunes.

If you have a backup in iTunes or iCloud, you can restore it from there.
To check in iTunes, open the Preferences pane and click on Devices > You will see the backups listed there.
You will want to do this on the computer that you typically sync your iPhone to.
Or if you have an iCloud backup, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings and in the setup menu, choose your backup. -

As far as I'm aware you can use your phone anywhere in the world. The phone is 'locked' to your network provider, so it is the SIM card that won't work in Europe. You need to contact your network provider and have global roaming added to your contract.

Some heating is normal when in use. It's only abnormal if it gets too hot to hold in your hand. If it's in a case, take it out, and move it to a cooler environment. If it gets to be a big concern, make an appointment at a Genius Bar to have it evaluated.

Sure, it will work just fine that way. Leave the deactivated sim in the phone, as you'll need it should you ever have to restore or upgrade the software on the phone. You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim in the phone.

Help me very urgent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Go into iTunes, select the name of your iphone on the list on the left hand side of iTunes, looks right above the picture of your iphone and you'll see summary info apps etc. go all the way to the right and you'll see photos, check mark the box to sync photos and chose the folder where you imported the photos to your computer from.

Did you check the box that says 'Synchronize Apps'? This happened to a friend and after she enabled this synchronization she was able to use her apps as she did before.

No one here can help you, nor can/will Apple. Unless you can get that info, you won't be able to restore the phone, to sell it, or re-activate it.
You need to somehow get back in touch with your girlfriend & obtain this info, or all you'll own is a paperweight. -

I have no batter in my iphone 5 since upgrading to ios7. I have talked with verizon techinical support and completed all suggestions to maintain the battery. And by the way, these suggestions are annoying and limit phone use as well as require you to close out each application after use, also turning off wi-fi and blue tooth. I don't need this phone if I can't use the features for which it was purchased! Any ideas? Is there a fix coming soon for the battery? Can I return my iphone for my old droid?
Help!Hi! I don't what's happened for your phone but, you can have more battery life with turning of Wifi, decries brightness, turn off location service and etc. also you shold use less Free+Much Ads apps becuase they use more battery than paid apps normaly.

Husband gave me his ipod and now I want to put my songs on it.
My old iPod was stolen, so husband gave me his. His was under separate iTunes and my iTunes has different songs. How do I put my songs on this new/old iPod?
Thanks for any help.When you connect the iPod to your iTunes library, you should see a message appear telling you that the iPod is associated with another library and asking you if you want to erase the contents of the iPod and synchronize with the new iTunes (i.e. your iTunes library).
Clicking "yes" to this message will erase the current contents of the iPod and replace it with the contents of your iTunes library. Thereafter you can sync the iPod as normal.

I just found another discussion about the control center swipe. I now am able to use my airport express.iOS 7 moved the AirPlay icon to Control Center.
To show Control Center, make sure your Home screen is displayed (press the Home button once), then swipe up from the bottom.
