GB constant optimization error
Hi everyone,
I have been having problems with GB constantly telling me that it cannot playback and giving me the error telling me how to optimize performance. I've searched for this topic on the discussion board and did everything in the helpfile, however, I am STILL having trouble...even with just ONE track with NO EFFECTS, I get this error consistantly even though I have 768 MB RAM and 1.6 GHz and have made songs before with multiple tracks and many effects. Additonally, I have no other programs running...any ideas?
PS. I read about turning off network connection but I don't know what this means or how to do this...please help!

can't figure out what audio editor your are recommending...
I wasn't recommending any particular one, ANY one will do. Audacity is a popular freeware editor. I use Peak, and other folks use whichever editor they feel most comfortable with.

Cannot download a movie i recieve a constant download error with no code
Trying to download a movie from itunes after a few minutes of downloading I receive a constant download error message with no error code, trying again several times in different days and is the same, I have tryed with two different connections and the problem remains.

Constant 404 error message - cannot install my product (premiere pro)
I've just purchase the single product - adobe premiere pro.
I have received the confirmation email, verified my address.
When i click on get started - I get a constant 404 error message. Sometimes the adobe.com/en flashes up for a few seconds, then the 404 comes back again.
Other way in
I login to adobe.com sucessfully.
I cannot see anywhere in account/profile/comms etc for me to download Premiere. It just tells me I have purchased it.
But after a while the same 404 error pops up.
I'm using Chrome/Yosemite
I am not running any malware/spyware removal progs.
Nor am I running sophos or other anti-virus software.
Hugely frustrating..

Constant -54 error message,nothing works.
I've been having a problem with my phones and my laptop.
I've tried restoring iTunes, fixing iTunes, reinstalling, nothing works.
I have a constant -54 error, it doesn't want to sync my music, it erases all my music, every time I try to add an item it freaks out says cannot syn -54 error.

Main optimizer error - There is already a transaction for the system
Hi Guru's,
I am trying to download support packs from maintenance optimizer in solution manager system. When i select the logical system it gives the error
'There is already a transaction for the system of this product version'
After this error, it does not proceed further.
There is many maintanence transactions in Maintanence optimizer. Now how to remove all these.
Any ideas or solutions most welcome.
MosesAs Christian has already written, the only problem is that there is already an open Maintenance Transaction for that specific system. Maintenance Optimizer checks that you do not open two different Maintenance Transactions for a system at the same time.
You only have to withdraw the old Maintenance Transaction to be able to proceed with the new one. Open the old Maintenance Transaction and click "Withdraw" on the bottom of the page. If it is grayed out, you need to go one step backwards, there you can withdraw it.

Java update 6 causing constant permission errors

I was looking for a little more experienced thoughts about the numerous persistent permission errors caused by the last java update for apple's software update. I've read forum articles that says it's OK to ignore them. And the Apple Support KB page that list the dozens of errors that can be safely ignored. But it just doesn't feel right. I'm tempted to revert to a pre java update backup version of the OS, that repair permissions gave a clean bill of health to it's screen. My question is; By not updating java Do I have more risk than by running with all the constant errors caused this update in file permissions? In trying to learn more about java I found among other things these snippets from Boutell.Com

Permissions repair completeI don't see those errors, but Disk Utility cannot fix anything related to symbolic links, so all I can recommend is to ignore them. Your other option is to reinstall the OS and then run Software Update, after making a bootable backup/clone.

Once again we are getting constant "web page error" when save a reply. Also no emails are being sent since yesterday.
When clicking "Alert Me" the page jumps to my user profile then throws page error.
This happens on one Win 8.1 and one Windows 7 system.

What is the scenario? E.g. this sounds like it could be clicking on Submit twice? I keep forgetting that that is possible because of how Answers has been working (had been working, since it too apparently now allows us to retry a Submit when
it comes back after having done nothing.)

Note that for another issue in that same "Performance" thread we had been asked to clear our caches, apparently in the belief that something had been fixed. I give proof that if that was in fact true it was not the client caches which need
to be cleared but some intermediate ones in the network. I don't know how we are supposed to help try to diagnose a case like that. On Answers they are asking for Fiddler traces but I think that could actually fix some problems if they are related
to timeouts that we have no control over otherwise (because Fiddler is a proxy program).
So, try using Fiddler? If nothing else you may then have diagnostics to help give a clearer symptom description. <eg>

Not meant to create an argument, but a true attempt with some help & thoughts what the problem may be. The RAM you have is 'rated' 1600, but in fact is more than likely 1333 chipped. They are in essence overvolted & undertimed to run at 1600 speed. Your board, is 1066/1333 native with 1600 & above OC'ing is required. The limitations of the CPU IMC also come into play often making things even more complicated. Unless you really need 8G RAM, 4G normally is much easier to get to run stable too. It may take some playing around & tweaking, but you might be able to get all 8G working at 1333. For starters, with just 4G, set to 1333 9 9 9 24 2T @ 1.55 or 1.60V's & see how it goes. -
BPC 4.2 Optimization error (object variable or with block variable not set)
Hi All,
I am getting the following error when I try to optimize application from the front end:
Run-time error '91':
Object variable or With block variable not set
From the back end the optimization works just fine. This is the new application I created from the AppShell. As soon as I created this new application set, I tried to run optimization and I am getting this error. Optimization in the AppShell works just fine. I wonder what the problem is since this is a brand new application set. I tried a few things all day yesterday and day before but in vain.
We are using BPC 4.2 (OutlookSoft CPM). Any help is greatly appreciated, the sooner the better.
Thanks in advance!Depending on your version of 4.2, here are two possible issues and remedys.
Possible issue #1
Do you only have 1 application in the appset? - Add another application.
Possible issue #2
This problem will occur if you have copied 4.2 SP2 Apshell or copied an existing appset.
This happens when a table named tblAdminTaskMessage exists and a stored procedure named INPUTMESSAGE does not exist.
The table and stored procedure are created when you run optimize for the first time and when you make copy of Apshell that has been optimized once, it can copy the table but it cannot copy the stored procedures.
The workaround is to delete the tblAdmintaskMesssage table in SQL Enterprise Manager within the problem appset.

Has anyone come across the following error when running a full Optimize from SAP BPC Administration.
Error Message: Exception of type system OutOfMemoryException was thrown.
I've raised a support call but would appreciate any help on knowing why this happens and how I can resolve it.

Do you have something in default script logic? Revise it in the admin consol Default.LGF inside the application and scripts logic, and delete the code include. Always if you don't need to use it.
By defect SAP BPC include some code there and you must delete it and save the changes.

What to do now - can anybody reproduce the error and sould i report it as a bug? Is it only in the Win(7) x64 JRE?

well this is the first time I hear that eclipse uses its own compiler! But nothing is impossible :-) -> as I know now eclipse uses its own incremental compiler :-(.

I don't recognize the IP listed either.
It's possible that it has something to do with an SSH attack on one of my Xserve's that's currently taking place (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2260955&tstart=0), but I'm unsure.
Anyone know what this means?
