GBs don't match up! PLEASE HELP!

I've been slowly filling up my 6 GB iPod mini since my purchase last May. Currently, my iTunes Library shows "994 songs, 3.61 GB". But when I tried to add the latest batch of 16 songs, it showed my capacity was 5.67 GB and could not update any more. Now, there's NO WAY my iPod is full already, and even when I look at the "About" setting on the actual iPod it says "5.6 GB capacity, 2.0 GB available".
However, I did notice that the GBs started not matching up after I was prompted to update the software weeks ago (which I'm almost sure I did). But the differences were very small then. It's only recently that the gap spiked up to 2 GBs, thus making my iPod supposedly "full".
So, which capacity is right? Should I update the software again? And if it IS full somehow, what's taking up 2 whole GBs of space? Anyone else have this problem? I'd appreciate ANY help and thanks in advance.

Erm it sounds kind of like your file structure is messing up, the only solution I know for this is to back-up any data possible and do a thourough reformat with disk utility.
It sounds like you're using a PC (only capable of handling PC formatted disks, without extreme software mods), if you were using a mac, the problemb would still occur (provided you have a PC formatted iPod) but it would indicate tat the space was still free but whenever you try to copy data, it would report that the disk is full. In that case, I don't know which program to use to do an actual drive reformat (not just a disk reformat), you would then have to reinstall the iPod software.

You may want to try restarting to see if that has any effect Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

The serial number will not help you locate it.
IF you turned on the find my iPhone feature on the iPhone itself, then go to iCloud.com
If you did not, then you cannot locate it.

InDesign 6 opens but tools/panels don't load. Please help.

I have just upgraded to a new MacPro. Had Creative Suite 6 all working fine on my old system, but on the new system InDesign will not open properly. I get multiple messages on opening about tools it cannot load because it requires different panels -- spelling, transform, and swatches. The message says please install "such and such" plug in and restart. These plug ins appear in the folder already. I have replaced preferences, uninstalled and re-installed twice, and still having the issue. I have to go back to using my old computer in order to get any work done since this one won't open 5.5 at all. Please help.

I resolved the problem and InDesign is working again, as well as the rest of the Creative Suite. However I did not do the third install. Because I was also having some issues with a few folders that did not have the right permissions, I decided to go with the other user account where InDesign worked and there were no permissions issues on the drive. I did not use the migration tool this time -- I just moved the files I needed from one user to the other or reset system preferences. It is so easy to switch between users now that I'm not too worried about any little things that I may have missed -- I will just keep the old user for a little while until I'm convinced everything I need is there. The old migrated user account had a lot of "junk" in it, so this should work out better anyway, and I learned a lot about using Mavericks in the process. Now back to work!

if it keeps asking for the password again just write "0000", add the controller to your favorites, close bluetooth before asked for a password again, and the open bluetooth again

11.2 iTunes update has made me unable to open iTunes. It says "The procedure entry point ADiAdID_AquireMatchSlotIfNecessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll" I have done everything imaginable! Please help?!

I deleted, reinstalled, searched, enabled, disabled--EVERYTHING and yet iTunes will not open! This is exactly why I hate updates rom Apple because they do this time and time again. I deleted multiple .dll files and nothing has worked. This is a glitch from the newest update 11.2. Hi, Did you strip out all components, delete the named folders and reboot as in the second box of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.

I have downloaded a PDF for accessing Backend access. I have done all the configurations specified there, before running I deployed and created JCos and tested, they were executing fine. Even I checked by giving TC SE37 and given some values...there also it was working fine. But when I ran the appl, I got Runtime Error saying like:
