GCU 20% off on game not applied
i went to best buy today and got halo wars and my 20% off never applied. they even scanned my card first. so i told the cashier that i'm GCU i should get my 20% off. so he asked one of the guys and he said only on new games not games on sale. that makes no sense but he said he knows the rules and regulation. so i said whatever and left. so my question is is he right and if he is nt what shouls i do to get my 20% off.

The Unlocked discount is set up to stack with sales prices on new games, so I am sorry that you were not awarded this bonus in the store when you purchased your game. As your My Best Buy card was scanned into the transaction, my guess is that the register simply wasn't communicating with the My Best Buy program as it should.

20% off GCU did not apply at register
Had an issue today when I went to pick up my Forza Horizon 2 pre-order. Even though my rewards info was accepted in the system, the 20% GCU did not get applied to my purchase. The cashier had no explaination to offer, other than "they are changing that program to have different offers now." I knew that was completely pulled out of left field, so I asked her if anyone else had this same issue today. She said that, yes, a few people also had the same thing happen.
My 'My Best Buy' account info is listed on my receipt, so I don't understand why GCU didn't get applied. I did receive my DLC code, so that is a plus. Please help. thanksHey once again jeremygary,
If you believe your Gamers' Club Unlocked discount did not apply to your purchase, then you will need to return to your local store's customer service desk when you have the chance to do so. An on-site rep should be able to re-ring the sale, making sure that any applicable discounts and promotions are properly applied. GCU discount did not applied to purchase.
I ordered a brand new game a few days ago and just noticed that GCU 20% off discount wasn't taken off. I'm 100% positive I was logged in when I made the purchase.

Why does the 20% off a new game purchase not apply to the weekly ad where you get $20 off a game with the purchase of watch dogs? Is there fine print that says the 20% discount excludes sale offers?

Does the 10% off used games apply with special welcome coupon?
I purchased Gamers Club Unlocked and received my set of special welcome coupons. I decided to take advantage of the buy two, get the third free this past weekend. However, I was just looking at the receipt and noticed that I did not receive 10% off the games. Does the 10% off bonus not stack with the welcome coupon? Not sure if this affect the 10% discount, but I also used a gift card and birthday reward cerfiticate on the purchase and the used games were also on sale. Thanks for the help!

I was searching, but none of the topics came up with this. I know if we pre-ordered it before it was lost we get the $20, will we get the GCU 20% on new games when we pick it up?

When we announced the Gamers Club Unlocked enhancements, including the 20% discount on new games, we provided an FAQ here on our forum. One of the questions was regarding existing pre-orders. Find the whole article here, but please see below for the answer to your question.
Q: If I have already pre-ordered games, will the 20% off be applied to those orders?
A: This will depend on whether you placed these pre-orders in-store or through BestBuy.com
In-Store:
If you pre-ordered in-store, you will receive the 20% off benefit as long as you are an active Gamers Club Unlocked member when you pick up your pre-order. You will need to ensure your My Best Buy account is added to the purchase when the game is picked up.
BestBuy.com:
If you pre-ordered on BestBuy.com for either Store Pickup or shipping, we are not able to add this benefit to your existing order. You will need to either cancel and re-do your pre-order or return and repurchase the game once it is fulfilled to get the 20% off. To receive this benefit going forward, you will need to ensure that you are signed in to your BestBuy.com account when you place an order and have your My Best Buy account linked to your BestBuy.com account.

$5.00 Preorder Deposit Not Applied to Final Purchase
I pre-ordered Sunset Overdrive and paid a $5 deposit for it. When I went into the store and picked it up on Tuesday, they scanned my receipt, I made the purchase, and everything seemed okay. But when looking at the receipt now, I'm not too sure that the $5 I originally paid was applied to the purchase.
It says "Deposit Paid: 5.00" under the line item of the game, but from my previous pre-orders, I could have sworn it would also appear as a tender type below the total. Adding up the amounts, it does not look like the $5 was simply deducted off the game price either. I went into the store and talked to customer service, but they were sure that it was taken off because the preorder receipt no longer scans, and they just point to where it says "Deposit Paid" and say if you add all that up, it equals $64.99, about the price of the game after tax. That doesn't sound correct to me. Can anyone who picked up their preorder look at their receipt and see how many times and where a preorder deposit is referenced?

Good question! If processed correctly, pre-order deposits should appear in two locations on the final sales receipt: under the item description and at the bottom of the receipt with your payment method. We're aware of an issue that may intermittently prevent pre-order deposits from being applied correctly though, so I'd encourage you to return to your local store if it doesn't appear your pre-order deposit was recognized. An on-site rep will need to void the original transaction and reprocess it to address the issue, and I have confidence they'll be able to help you out.

I customized my bootstrap.ini file to skip the welcome screen, set keyboard locale, and enter a service account username and password for share access. The welcome screen skip and keyboard locale work beautifully but it's not applying the share username/password/domain
at all.

Well all, I've done this at least 20 times today and the deployment share info is still wrong...
Someone else built and messed with this thing so i'm trying to fix it. We have 2 MDT servers and 1 WDS that is on the Production MDT. I've turned the test MDT off.
It was working fine, until I updated the deployment share ... after adding some drivers for the surface pro 3 for the pxe boot

I've deleted all the .wim and associated files from all locations from the deployment share\boot folder and from the wds remote install\boot\x64\images folder where they are instead of the remote install\boot\images folder that everyone refers to.
I really can't figure this one out... I know it's something simple I'm over looking but I can't see it..

please help me my ipod nano 7g went off and will not start, this happened after I connect to my computer, my ipod will restart and I no longer turn on. what I do?

Thanks for the question. The following article outlines troubleshooting information for iPod nano. While it mostly refers to the 6th generation, most steps apply for your model as well:

Will not turn on or screen remains dark
- Connect iPod to power for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has enough charge to allow iPod to turn on.
- If iPod does not turn on after ten minutes, try resetting the device while it is still connected to power. Reset the iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button for at least eight seconds or until you see the Apple logo appear.
- If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes and can play music. If iPod appears in iTunes and can play music, no further troubleshooting is needed.
- If the screen remains dark and will not turn on, then your iPod may need service.

I have a Macbook Pro and have just purchased a GSP hidden objects game. It says on the box that it is compatible and when I try and install it it tells me that installation has been successful. However, it then says that PowerPC games not supported. Help?
No game icon appears on my desktop and I don't know what I can do.
Really ****** off as i've not played these games since switching from a windows PC to a Mac and was really excited!! All I want is to be able to play my new game that arrived in the post today. If anyone can help I would be really really grateful....
The game says that it needs Mac OS X 10.3 or higher to run so I don't understand what the problem is or how I can fix it!!beckyj3,
the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you’d like to play this PowerPC game on your Intel MacBook Pro, then you’ll need to install Snow Leopard on it and boot into Snow Leopard. (Note that the last MacBook Pro which natively supported Snow Leopard was the Early 2011 model.)
The game was almost certainly published before Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) was released, so back then, all versions of “Mac OS X 10.3 or higher” would have supported running that PowerPC game. -
Tried to use 'render/lighting effects' on 5 more or less new different laptops now. All kind of Window versions.
They all have at least 4GB RAM. The Graphic Card is compatible.
Layer to work on is RGB-Type.
It's all about Photoshop CC 2014, trial version.
When I go to 'Lighting effects' it says first:
'The 3D features require that 'Use Graphics Processor' is enabled in the Performance preferences. Your video card must meet the minimum requirements and you may need to check that your driver is working correctly.'
- I switched the 'Use Graphics Processor' on and off and restarted new - nothing happens.
- Video card is compatible.
Second it says:
''Could not apply the workspace because there is not enough memory (RAM)'
- RAM on all the computers I tested it with is at least 4GB
Please help!We would need to know the amount of Video ram you have. If it is above 512 MB, then check for driver updates.

The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.

Colors are not applying properly
First off, let me say that I am definitely a novice. I'm mostly self taught- I did take some courses through the Art Institute of Pittsburgh but I had to drop out to take care of my family so I'm by no means an expert. So forgive me if I sound like an idiot.
Yesterday I was desiging images for my children and I was having difficulty with the colors- I would select a color from the color picker and a different shade/color would be applied to the text. Hoping it was a RAM issue, I just restarted my computer and it resolved itself. Easy enough. I completed the designs and went about my day.
Today, I'm working on a project for someone else and it's doing it again. I've restarted the computer and I've reset settings on Illustrator to the default but neither of these things resolved the problem.
In an attempt to make sure I wasn't going crazy, I took a screen shot of the text I'm attempting to color and the color picker box showing the color I was trying to choose. The selected color was R 6 G 6 B 249. I opened the image in paint and with the eyedropper tool selected the color that was actually applied and that color is R 61 G 93 B 171- so clearly not the same color at all. I then opened it in Photoshop to determine if it was an Adobe problem or just an Illustrator problem. With the eyedropper tool, I got the same results that I did in paint. Illustrator is definitely not applying the colors correctly.
Being a novice, I have no idea what to do now and as I'm using CS5, the live chat rep sent me here to seek help. I've been using these programs for years and have never encountered this problem so I'm baffled and I'd appreciate any help.I don't know if I'm efficiently explaining the problem here.
I think you can try explaining it better by giving some additional information.
What is the color space of the document as reported on this menu at the bottom left of your document window?
What is the name of the color space (profile) listed after Monitor RGB on the RGB menu in the Working Spaces section of the Color Settings?
What are the color values of the color you have trouble with? Please provide the CMYK or RGB values depending on the color mode of the document.
Please, provide a screen shot in png file format so the colors can be measured accurately without being altered by the jpg compression.
Also please include in the screen shot the Color panel with a slider set to the color model of the document.
Also to make sure that the color in the document is not altered by any other means, like blending modes, multiple fills appearance, masks, etc. create a new document with a simple box with the same color values and check if the colors match.

When Will Liquid Layouts Be Ready?
Has there been any indication from BC as to when Liquid Layouts is going to be ready to use on real sites? I've played around with it about a month or so ago but too much hadn't been completed yet on the Ecommerce side to be able to use it on custom
