GCU not appearing online

Had my GCU for a few months now, everytime I go to make a purchase online there is no discount and it trys to sell me another GCU... I dont think I'm getting points/discounts the way I should. What do I do?

I don't like hearing this about your Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) membership.  I was able to locate your My Best Buy Member ID with the information you've provided to the forums and it appears that there's GCU associated with your account.  
When did you try to make a purchase with your GCU benefits?  The benefits should be reflected on purchase during the Checkout process.

  • IPad Air does not appear online when using "Find my Phone"

    Curious why my iPad Air appears "offline" in the Find my Phone app when it is in sleep mode.  All of my other devices (iPhone 5 & iPhone 4) both appear online (and on the map) even though they are sleeping. 
    All devices are running ios7 and are connected to the same wifi network.

    It sounds like you have the iPad Air setup with Find my iPhone but you are not able to locate with the app on a different device, but other devices work just fine. I suggest these steps from the article named:

    This can occur if:
    The date on your device is incorrect. Choose Settings > General > Date & Time to check and set the date.

    Your iPad (Wi-Fi only), iPod Touch, or Mac is currently off or not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

  • IChat not working (not appearing online when I should be)

    I have had iChat open all day and it appeared to be working fine, but I never noticed anyone come online which is unusual. I then opened iChat on my wife's computer (using her account) and I didnt appear online, and she didnt appear in my account. I tried deleting my plist file, resetting my disc permissions and restarting my computer but it didnt help. I logged in on my wife's computer and had the same problem. It may be a coincidence but yesterday I installed the latest iChat AIM update on my iPhone and I set it up to keep me online 24 hours after I quite (using the SMS alerts). I tried logging out and disabling it on my iPhone but still no luck. Any help much appreciate, as I use iChat alot!

    I seem to have fixed it. I downloaded AIM for mac, and it was the same problem. It showed all my friends as offline when I knew some of them should be online. I then tried talking with someone I knew was online and it said they were blocked. In my buddy list however it showed them as not being blocked, but I blocked one of them anyway and then unblocked them and then it allowed me to chat with that person. Then I quit AIM and opened iChat and it started working. Very strange I know, but I wont be using iChat on my iPhone until they bring out a new update.

  • Subscriptions not appearing online!!

    Here's a bit of a mystery... My partner's published a calendar online, and I am now subscribed to it. The subscribed calendar has appeared on iCal on my computer. All good so far! BUT... it doesn't appear on my iCal calendar online.
    To increase the mystery, the Birthdays calendar, automatically created by iCal on my computer, DOES appear as a subscribed calendar online.
    Does anyone know how I can get all calendars to appear online??!

    Birthdays is a special 'subscribed' calendar.
    MobileMe does sync subscribed calendars, but they don't show on the web interface or on the iPhone when syncing over-the-air. They do appear on another mac syncing with the same account. (iPhone OS 3.0 has introduced a way of seeing subscribed calendars on the iPhone, but this is not syncing.)
    This is what Apple says on the subject:
    Syncing calendar subscriptions and CalDAV calendars
    Symptoms
    iCal can subscribe to various calendars, including some calendars provided by Apple or published by other MobileMe members. You can also use iCal to connect to a CalDAV server (in Mac OS X v10.5 or later). After subscribing to a calendar, or adding a CalDAV account to iCal on your Mac and syncing with MobileMe, you may see some unexpected results on your other computers or devices syncing with MobileMe:
    iPhone/iPod touch with iPhone OS 3.0
    Subscription and CalDAV calendars configured in iCal on your Mac will not sync via MobileMe to your iPhone/iPod touch.
    Outlook 2003/2007 (syncing with MobileMe Control Panel)
    Subscription and CalDAV calendars will not appear in Outlook 2003/2007.
    MobileMe Calendar (www.me.com/calendar)

    Resolution
    iPhone/iPod touch with iPhone OS 3.0
    With iPhone OS 3.0, you can subscribe to calendars or configure CalDAV calendars in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iPhone/iPod touch. Calendars added to your iPhone/iPod touch are not synced with MobileMe, so the calendars you subscribe/connect to may be different on your iPhone/iPod touch than on your Mac. For more information on setting up calendars on your iPhone/iPod touch, see the iPhone Users Guide.

  • Navbar does not appear online

    I just published a site on iWeb. everything is fine but, when i tried loading the folders and files on my site at the hosting service, the Navigation Bar does not appear. I checked and rechecked, every single file and folder are correct. Still No navigation bar. Anyone out there know about these glitches? Or did I mess up? Thanks for the support.

    I have certain images that when I open iWeb, appear normal just as usual, but when I visit the page online, it looks as though they are there because while it loads it shows the gray frame that surrounds an image, but then those disappear and the images are not there.'

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try using the Publish All to .Mac menu option. That usually corrects missing files for me. Also make sure you clear your browser's cache so you're not looking at an older cached version of the page.

  • No Welcome package and discounts not appearing online

    Hello, started a membership in store on 3/27/15, but wasn't asked for my email during checkout and now I'm trying to make a purchase online but the discounts aren't showing up even with the item in cart. The points from the when i started the membership have been added though so i'm not really sure what happened.

    I’m glad to see that you came over to the dark side with us by joining the Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) membership, though it’s definitely hard to take advantage of those benefits if you’re not receiving your Welcome Packet or the discount online.
    Generally, it can take up to 72 hours for your GCU benefits to be available online, but based on when you said you signed up, you should be seeing them by now.  Your Welcome Packet should also have arrived in your email by now as well. 
    I’d like to look into this further, but I was unable to pull up any information for you with the email address you registered on the forum.  Please send me a private message with your full name, email address that your purchase history would be under and either the BestBuy.com order number starting with BBY01 if you ordered your membership online or your Customer Service Pin from the store receipt if you didn’t order online.
    The Customer Service Pin is generally located about midway through the receipt and it made up of four sets of numbers.  Usually right above it you will see “Your Customer Service Pin is” and underneath it will be the numbers I need.  You can send me a private message by logging into the forum and clicking on the button across from my name on this post.

    I bought GCU a couple days ago but my account is still showing free membership. Also, the discount is not working. This is ridiculous, I expect a product/service to work, especially when I have paid in advance for it!

    I looked over your account history using the email address you registered with the forum, and I do see that you signed up to become a Gamers Club Unlocked member on 3/22/2014.  It can generally take about 24 hours for our system to reflect a new Unlocked account, so you should be able to see your Unlocked status now if you were to login to MyBestBuy.com.
    As far as the 20% Unlocked discount, in-order to have it apply to a BestBuy.com order, you would need to make sure that your BestBuy.com and My Best Buy™ accounts are linked.  From everything that I can see on our side, your accounts appear to be properly linked.  I performed a quick test just to make sure the discount was working properly and it seems to be working fine.
    If you are still not seeing your Unlocked status or the 20% discount does not look to be applying to BestBuy.com orders, please send me a private message with your primary email address and I will see what I can do to further assist.  A private message can be sent by clicking on the blue button located within my signature.

  • Arrrgh-buddies not appearing online

    Ok, I am officially frustrated. My buddy list stopped showing when my buddies are online and offline. I have deleted my buddies and added them, but it still doesn't work. i deleted my wife off and re-added her(including deleting her off of the address book). Her icon came back up but she is still greed out, even though she is sitting next to me. She comes up in bonjour just fine. We are both on macbooks running the latest and greatest in Tiger, and we have an airport extreme and airport express in our house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Also check they are not accidently Blocking you.
    They are on a PC have they got Invisiblity On.
    If you are at the same location using the same modem, how have you set it up to allow computers to use the same ports ?
    iChat will need port 5190 on UDP to see the Buddy list properly - if this Port Forwarded (including Protocols on soem devices) to one computer the other may not be able to log into AIM at all or show discrepanncies as described here.

  • Backup Assistant Contacts Not Appearing Online

    Hello, I've searched for similar problems with no luck. I've installed backup assistant in my old LG VX8575 to get the contacts off so I can download them to my new phone. Backup Assistant on the phone says it's backed up 292 contacts and that I can see and edit them online. But online when I access my account at verizonwireless.com/backupassistant, which becomes wbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/nos/ba_nab/overview_def.jsp, the apparently new portal for backup assistant plus, my contacts list is empty. The phone numbers are identical. What can I do now to get the contacts to show up online so I can activate my new phone and download them? Thanks!

    Hmm, now they ARE there, over half an hour later. Wonder if they ought to say wait a while and then they'll show in the instructions... Thanks anyway, all!

    I've added a flash button to my website and uploaded it to

  • Online number does not appear as caller ID for out...

    I have a Skype Premium account and an Online Number based in Stockholm, Sweden.
    I have verified the Caller ID for my account is set for the Online Number starting with +468.
    When I call my mobile phone (Swedish mobile operator), the ID appears as "Unknown".
    When I call the Online Number from my mobile phone, the calling number is shown correctly.
    What could be wrong?

    Log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site, using the "Account" link at the top of this page.  Once you log in, you will see Caller ID settings.  If your number is from one of the countries whose numbers can be used as Caller ID (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), you should be able to select it and save that for your Caller ID setting.  If your number is from some other country, it can't be used as Caller ID when calling phones from Skype - and you would need to use a mobile number (except those from Japan or Mexico) that has gone through the two-step SMS verification process from Skype.

  • IPhoto folders not appearing for online upload on Yosemite

    I have all of my photos in iPhoto organized into events. In Mavericks, when uploading photos online (to facebook, pinterest, etc) I was able to easily find what I was looking for since the iPhoto events appeared in my internet browser. Since updating to Yosemite, I am not able to find what photo I am looking for since the events do not appear. My entire iPhoto library appears instead.
    I have a macbook pro 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7. 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. I typically use chrome, but the upload doesn't work in Safari either. iPhoto version 9.6.

    Try quiting iPhoto or restarting iTunes, or turning the Apple TV off and on, or basically anything to close and re-open the homeshare connection.
