GeeThree volume 7 and Quicktime issues ughh, help!

I just bought some plug-ins. G3 volumes 4-5 and G3 volume7,9. So, I installed them. They all seem to be workiing except G3 7 titles. When I go to titles-GeeThree Slick 7, underneath it is suppossed to be numerous wild fx titles...wild fx-black, wild fx-doopy, etc. But mine just has one,wild fx 7. When I try to open it, it tells me that I cannot use Geethree slick 7 without enabling flash on my Quick time. My flash is already enabled. I just updated my quick time yesterday too. I do usually have that annoying problem on my quicktime, that automaticaly unchecks my image and miscellaneous file options under mime settings.
can anyone help? This is a project due tomorrow for my last college undergraduate class ever!

Sorry that no one could post to you before your project was due. I don't have the answer; just an observation. Some GeeThree effects simply do not work in iMovie 6. They may work in preview mode, but when you apply them, you get a blank screen.

So last night I download the update for iTunes. Everything seemed to be going fine, I didn't have any problems. This morning I turn on my computer and try to run iTunes and it gives me an error message, an dwon't even open iTunes. Not only that, I can't run any Quicktime file, it gives me the same message. I downloaded the installer again and attempted to repair iTunes. It said I was sucessful, but when I tried opening iTunes or Quicktime the error still appeared. This is really frustrating, this is what I get for updating? Someone please help!

I've been quite unfortunate with my laptop (Macbook Pro Early 2011) ever since downloading the Yosemite OS. It has been plagued with extremely slow speeds when running basically anything, the fan runs constantly, and the battery drains at a rate of 1% every minute it seems. I can typically only get an hour or 2 out of my MBP without having to run and find an outlet.
The performance is extremely slow when opening apps, but not so bad once they are open and running. However, switching apps (e.g. from Chrome to iTunes) causes a long lag and leaves me unproductive. Some apps don't even open. It takes about 5 minutes to open one app, and about 15 minutes on average to use my computer once again after restarting.
I've looked at various other discussions where people had problems, but each situation seemed unique with no solution working for everyone. I used Etrecheck to analyze my computer, but not knowing a lot about computers, I didn't find a solution. Below you will find the data. Any insight or solutions would help so much! I hate always having to be plugged in and burning my legs when my laptop is on my lap.

Photoshop CS2 and windows issues! help!

Hi, I'm working with someone who is having issues with Adobe Photoshop CS2 among other Adobe problems. The problem is that after Photoshop is loaded, the interface is very messed up. You can't open a file because if you go to menu -> file nothing happens. If you try to create something new, most of the buttons will be invisible in the option for sizes. The program simply becomes unusable. After a restart, the program will work properly for a short period of time and being to behave oddly again. On loading Photoshop, windows gives an error beep but the program loads anyways and no error window comes up. This happens on illustrator as well as indesign. I have uninstalled everything and removed all shared files that adobe uses and reinstalled everything from scratch, the same problem happens. This only started happening recently.
OS is XP pro SP3.
I am about to wipe the computer and start from scratch but I would rather not have to do this if there is another solution!

No, it's a standard U.S. keyboard and the language is set to english. I believe the software is up to date.
It doesn't freeze when you click on the menu, it just refuses to pop open a window when you try to open a file. Also, many of the option boxes in some of the windows in photoshop are invisible. This only happens after the computer has been on for a short while. Right after a reboot, you can open photoshop fine... until it stops working.

CS6 dyamiclinkmanager.exe and QuickTime issues

First, I'm on a Windows 7 service pack 1 machine, i7-4930k 3.4 GHz with 32 GB RAM. Motherboard is an ASUS P9X79LE. GPU is an Nvidia GTX 770. I just installed QuickTime 7.7.5.
I've recently installed Production Premium CS6. Previously, I was successfully using Production Premium CS5 on the same machine but with a different motherboard and processor: ASUS P6T and i7-960.
Anyway, I installed CS6. Tried to open Premiere, but the program would always hang up when it reached "export quicktime host."
AE would hang up on "Initializing Media Core."
Encore would hang up on "loading importer quicktime."
1. To address the Premiere issue, here's what I tried:
a) As per directions from an Adobe support page, I allowed connections in my firewall for:
AfterFX.exe
Adobe QT32 Server.exe
dynamiclinkmanager.exe
PProHeadless.exe
This had no effect.
b) I then moved the Adobe QT32 Server.exe file from the "32" folder into another folder. Premiere then loaded correctly.
2. Since (b) worked for Premiere, I tried the same technique with the QT32 Server.exe files in the "32" folders in AE and Encore.
Encore now loads properly. BUT after AE loads I get a message saying that QuickTime is not installed on the system. QT is proving problematic. Not only is it not recognized by AE, but I can't open QT. For some reason it seems incompatible with my Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1. I changed the compatibility settings for QT to XP Service Pack 2 and the software opened when I clicked on the icon. However, QT is still not recognized by AE.
Note: I found earlier in my investigations that when I ended the dynamiclinkmanager.exe *32 process, each of the programs would open.
So:
Any suggestions as to how to get AE to recognize QT?
Is ending the dynamiclinkmanager.exe process a good idea? Will this disable dynamic link for Premiere and AE?

Driver and software issue, please help!

I am having an issue. I am running itunes v 7.2 and ever since, I get a message saying "disk burner or software not found". I have tried everything listed on these boards, including rebooting, updating the GEARS driver, etc. And nothing worked! I could only do the 32 bit GEARS though, the other two said my system don't suport them. Apple needs to come up with a fix. It looks like a lot of people have this issue! It is also a turnoff to itunes for people, including myself as I am considering droping itunes all together if this issue is not resolved. Even if it means I loose the songs I bought. I will just have to buy them again with another program and burn them on a program that works. I ran the diagnostic and this is what I got:

Drag and drop issue, please help.

I can no longer drag and drop photos within photoshop elements 12. When working with a layer, I want to move it to a layer within another existing file, and no longer have the option. The only way I have fixed the issue in the past is uninstall and reinstall the program. I've read other forum posts and followed the instructions by resetting preferences and it does not work.
Does anyone have any solutions to this issue? Please help!

With both files open, simplest to tile them side by side, you should be able to drag the layer from the source file onto the target file. So long as it shows the 'grasping hand' you can release the mouse and it should add the layer to the target.
So what is happening now on your system? When you drag the layer to the target what icon is shown - 'grasping hand', 'no entry', something else?

Photoshop PSD files will not open in AE or PREM?? This was fine in CS6 and CC - just did the CC2024 update and now issues-any help much appreciated

Recently upgraded to the 2014 CC update and now i can't send PSD files…or any files for that matter into Premier or AE. If i save the file in Photoshop CC2014 then i can see it in finder etc, but i try to import and i get the notice 'importer reported a generic error'

I am having the same issue. I can create a single layer file in Photoshop and it imports fine. If I create a file with 2 layers it crashes Premiere cc. Premiere will not display the box with options to import single layer, sequence etc. Any ideas?

Tap picture in Photos App and rotate - issue / Pls help

Issue: tapping landscape pictures with phone in vertical position and rotate them goes on black screen
Description:
I am with iphone in normal (vertical position) and i go to photos app in order to scroll some pictures that were taken in landscape position.
Everything is normal. I double tap it in order to zoom it.
I rotate the phone in landscape position and the screen goes BLACK.
I rotate it in portrait mode and picture is back on screen.
Question: where is the problem ?
Tests results:
I tried to make several tests to identify the problem.
Before I want to say that i tried restore / reset / etc.
1. The pictures that are taken in portrait mode are not affected on double tap and rotate thing.
2. Works if you zoom manualy (not by double tap) and scroll to a corner of a landscape picture before you rotate the phone.
I add that any other application works fine on rotate / zoom / etc even photos app works OK if i dont double tap the picture before i rotate it.
Still after the tests i am not able to identify where is the problem so i ask the comunity if can help me to identify it.

1. Open Photo App with phone in vertical position
2. Select a landscape picture
3. Double tape it (will zoom automaticaly)
4. Rotate the phone in landscape position and write down the results.

Real Player, Windows Media Player and Quicktime plugin problems - HELP!

All I want to do is view game trailers in different website in either real, wmv or mov etc. I have downloaded the programs (free ones) and installed them but they still persist not to work in the browsers. The program themselves work fine just not in the browsers where I use them the most. I have also checked the internet plugins file on my computer and they are in there. What can I do for them to work??

Wifi and time issues please help.

My daughters iPod touch 5th generation is constantly resetting the time incorrectly, I had it on auto time in the correct time zone but it keeps eventually resetting to the wrong time then I tried manually inputting the correct time but it eventually reset again to the wrong time. It's also having issues picking up the wifi, we have 5 other i devices that have no problem with wifi so I know this problem is just specific to this particular unit. This has been an ongoing issue since day she got it Xmas 2012. I've tried restoring several times but to no avail. PLEASE can someone help. We spent a lot of money on this device and she can't use it to its full potential! :(

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

G530 - driver and key issues--please help!

Hey, everyone.
I'm having some issues. A while ago I upgraded to Windows 7 (32 bit) Home Premium, found out that I could no longer change the screen brightness. This was my only issue with the upgrade. So, I suffered through, later caught a virus through a bad download, and did a complete system restore, ridding myself of everything and restored back to Vista.
I recently--just a few hours ago--upgraded again to Windows 7, updated my BIOS, and thought everything was peachy. It is not so. The number keys (not the 'number pad') 1-0 do not work at all--only 7-0 if the number lock function is activated. I've triple-checked and restored my keyboard options to US standard but nothing doing. All of the other keys work.
As well as suffering through that, I've discovered that a driver I didn't realize I had, GuardedID, is not functioning properly, warning me with every few keystrokes: "GuardedID keyboard driver is not responding. More detail on the error is available in the Event Viewer under Manage in the toolbar. GuardedID is now turned Off." Not only am I irritated with this message popping up every so often but I'm becoming paranoid.
There is no trace of GuardedID on my computer--none that I can find. I tried searching online, finding software that I have to purchase but I am assuming that I would have had it 'free' if I hadn't even know I had it. Any kind of help would be amazing.

In regard to GuardedID, i'm not sure this community knowledge base article is helpful but you may want to take a look: Typed letters appearing as increasing numbers ( 0,1,2,3,4,5)
On another isuse about brightness control, there is another article about it that will be helpful for you if your machine type is type 4151 or 4446. G530 cant change brightness on Windows 7 Professional

SATA Raid 0 and Overclocking Issues. Help!

I'm building out a machine that doesn't seem to want to overclock in the slightest bit. I think my Serial ATA RAID 0 array seems to be the problem with OC'ing. Each time I change the CPU FSB settings, when I boot up, it tries to detect my array. Then it reboots after it fails.
Does anyone know what's going on? Someone mentioned PCI Bus settings to me...???
On Anandtech they OC'd this chip to 2.6 Ghz (290x9) with an 8.3%+ in voltage. I can't even get to 220.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, I switched it to SATA 3/4 and then I couldn't boot. I kept getting some error which would cause it to boot again. It happened right after it detected the array successfully. The warning message happened so fast the first couple times I didn't even notice it. It would flash some sort of blue screen like error (only it was a black screen) and then reboot itself.
Frustrated, I decided to start from scratch again. I wiped out the discs and re-created the RAID 0 Array and put my WinXP CD back in. Now while setting up WinXP I hang at the "Setup is starting Windows" screen.
It won't go anywhere from that. It happens after I copy over the RAID Driver and Controller from the Floppy. It copies more files after that and then hangs...
I also reset the CMOS with the jumper settings, un-did and re-did my SATA connections, even unplugged the little MB battery... :(
Any suggestions? This is so frustrating.

Itunes 7 and burning issues - Please help!

Hello!
I upgraded to itunes 7 yesterday and now I can't burn CDs. When I insert the CD it says checking media, the CD light flashes, then it does nothing. The panel at the top goes back to the apple logo?
Any idea what I should do? I tried emailing apple, but none of their suggestions were relevant.

Urgent and typical issue- Please help!!

I have a BOM material(say M) which is made up of 3 components(say A, B and C).
I procure component A from 3 different countries(T1, T2 andT3), component B from 2 different countries(T4 and T5) and component C from 4 different countries(T6, T7, T8 and T9).I process them and prepare a finished good M(as mentioned above) and export it. I want to track the country of origin of each of the components of this BOM.How can I achieve this?
To make my question more clear..If I am exporting material M, I should be able to track all the 9 countries(T1..T9) because M is made up of 3 components procured from 9 countries(in all).
Since the problem is critical, I would appreciate your urgent help on this.Thanks!!
