Geeting SMARTFORM name from SMARTSTYLE name

Hi All,
Can any one help me in finding the form name in which smarttsyle is used.
The smartstyle name is given to me and i have been asked to get the form name in which given smartstyle is used.

Hi Deepa,
If we design any smartform we need smartstyle to attach so generally we will follow the naming conventiosn in description. so check the description of your smartstyle then you will get to know for what pupose its created.
If you know the output type and the module for which the smartform is designed for ex MM,PM or Engineering services etc then you can chek the customised forms in the Nace transaction and you have to manually check each and every form where your smartstyle is used.
And regarding the SPRO settings i cant tell you the flow as i dont remember where we can get the form details.Mostly developers will not have access you can ask any Functional or Basi to help you out.
unfortunately i have never got this situation apart from these options i dont have any other solution to find out smartform using smartstyle.

Hi guys .İ have to learn the Smartform or Sapscript name of a alreasy printed document.So i use the transaction SP02 .There is not any information about the program or Smartform in spool transaction .How can i know SMARTFORM name from the spool number.

1.Goto sp01 and give your spool request number.
2.Double click on the spool request number.
3.In the screen,click on the TemSe attributes tab.
4.In that tab you can find the object name field.Double click on the Objectname(spool number).It will take you to the TemSe:List of Objects Screen
5.Check the checkbox and press the CONTENTS tab in the application toolbar.
6.It will show the TemSe:Contents of Object screen.You can find the SMARTFORM Name in the Second line of the display.
7.If you need to find the Program name use table TNAPR.

Hi,
there is on a standard system no smartform for you. So you have to do your thing with the standard sapscript.
However there have been some BestPractices projects at SAP. There they have a lot of standard smartforms. Maybe you can download them from SAP somewhere the name will something
with MMCON or MMDLS in it.
you have to find out yourself because i do not have it here to send it to you.

We have the Smartforms in the Service.sap.com, you need to download from this one. in our SAP we do not have these smartforms .
smartform name is /smb40/mmpo_l. Look at the SAP Note 695891

plz make sure that code is completely transferred from development > quality>production.
Also check for necessary tables and others which will be used by Smart form.
Is it possible you to check the variables used in the smart form are properly populated in the print program or not.
Plz make sure above mention issues, it may solve your problem.

Standard smartform name and standard print program name for Sales Quotation

Hi,
I would like to know the standard smartform name and standard print program name which can be used for sales quotation through transaction VA23.
For eg: The standard output type for billing document (For T code VF03) is RD00 and it' smartform name is LB_BIL_INVOICE. It's print program name is RLB_INVOICE.
Similarly, I would like to know the standard smartform name and standard print program name for AN00 output type which is used for sales quotation. .

I can generate a pdf by opening a record of IT0298 with PA30 and pressing on PrintDocument ==> Print Preview, but how do I find out the name of a smartform that generated this pdf?

The Print Option is grayed at my place.
But you can check in SP01 if a spool has been generated for that PDF.
If yes, then:

Triggering smartform output from the report program

I have developed a new report program.The selection screen of the report program is like this.
plant:    ________
warehouse: ___________
sheet #:      _________ to _________
bay/bin:      ___________ to __________

counter sheet printer: __________
Auditor sheet printer:   _________
When the data for sheet#,bay,building, counter sheet printer is given,then the counter sheet smartform has to be output on the screen.

declare the paramters of your selection screen in the form interface section of the smartform.
If you have a parameter in teh selection screen then declare it in the smartform as:
P_matnr     TYPE     matnr (in form interface -
                                                 >import)
If you have a select option then
S_LEVEL     LIKE <dictionary structure like a range>
this u declare it in the tables section of the form interface. For the select option , the dictionary sructures should be like a range (see RNGE_OBJID as an example). If you dont have a dictionary structure
then u need to declare it in the dictionary.

Not that I know of. There is a lot of data in the OTF file besides the field values you are printing (formats, headers. positions, fonts, etc).
You might be able to use the CONVERT_OTF function module and take the default format of 'ASCII'. Once it is converted to an ASCII data format, you might be able to write some ABAP code to strip off the extraneous data and parse the fields you need.

all programs not starting with y or z will be sap std programs only
same for se71 scripts
samse for smartforms
but the use of those will be known when you see the documentation
for each programme
for std programs there will be documentation available so that you can understand
why they have developed that object

Yes, there is a free preconfigured Smart Form offered by SAP Labs for the SD Order Confirmation. The precise form kit you need may vary depending on your country and your current release level, but the download location for all of the preconfigured forms is service.sap.com/smartforms (follow the "Preconfigured Forms" link).

As for your second question, there are a few ways to access the relevant SPRO (Implementation Guide for R/3 Customizing) transaction to switch the pointer to a Smart Form instead of SAPscript. In your case, one of the simplest ways is via transaction code NACE (Conditions for Output Control). From there, the steps are as follows:
1) Select 'V1' (Sales) 2) Click on the 'Output Types' button 3) Select the relevant output type (e.g. BA00) 4) Double-click on the 'Processing routines' folder 5) Double-click on the relevant transmission medium (e.g. 1 for printer). 6) The Smart Form entry field is near the top of the screen 7) On the same screen, you can update the print program entries and remove the obsolete SAPscript reference.
Caution: Even though a Smart Form is client-independent, the above configuration table is client-dependent. In other words, if you make the above change in client 100, it will not affect the settings in client 200.
