[GeForce 6] Do both 6800GT need same revision# & bios? Can I start out with 1?

My plan for my signature system was to order one 6800GT after posts said 1 6800GT=2 6600GT & I'd be better off starting out with one 6800GT rather than 2 6600Gt. I'd get the 2d one maybe in a year or two.
Now it appears there's some caveats.....do both 6800GT's have to be the same revision, bios and something called ERP. That is, if I bought the 2d 6800GT in a year or two, will it work with the earlier one, or is there going to be some manufacturing version level problem pop up?
If I can get the identical revision question nailed down, I think I can go ahead and order all the parts.

Do not worry about the BIOS of the Vid Card, they very rarely change. When it comes time, you just want to get another card that is same specs. Since you have an MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E, just get another MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E, that will give you the best chance at stability. You could use a 6800GT from another brand but for max stability I would try to get two matched Vid Cards.

Upgrading to firefox 5 and updating my plug-ins helped a bit. Frog is less 'sticky' now, but it's not solved the problem. Java needs to be up to speed or the frog goes into stasis....

You cannot merge them onto different iTunes accounts.
You can keep them in the same iTunes library on yoru computer.

Did you try to rename one of them? iTunes: How to rename your device
iTunes remembers the settings for each phone when you sync, even if both phones are called "My iPhone".
So make sure to set it up like you want to, after that iTunes will do the rest.

Do you still need EJB when you can do it all with JSF/JSC?

I think EJBs make J2EE unnecessarily complex for 80% of small to mid or even some large scale applications. When you can separate the logic and view using JSF and Servlets, and still do transactions (using JSC DataProviders), why do you still need EJBs? I have heard nightmares with EJBs deployment and how its complex to move them over from test to production servers.
Are EJBs getting obsolete and not worth learning? Afterall, in the Microsoft world, there is nothing like EJB and all they got is ASP.NET (similar to JSF) -- along with its associated data classes and .NEt framework. I am sure they also promote separating logic from presentation.
I think JSF is the best thing Java world has got to compete with Microsoft on developer productivity for small to medium size applications.

J2EE EJB's are far from being a holy grial capable of solving any situation. They are complex, difficult to learn and code, but we need to be fair and tell the whole story.
EJB's are part of the J2EE technology and offer infrastructure needed in complex applications. I.E., you mention

but these are only database level transactions. The J2EE app servers can handle global (and distributed) transactions involving different operations over different databases and transactions ruled by non-database software. Just imagine the complexity of handling a "rollback" of this kind. Put that in .NET pipe and try to smoke it.
J2EE EJB Entity Beans were the black sheep of the family. They were oriented to easily handle fine operations (i.e. update a specific record of information) but on the other hand present a poor performance in operations over large sets of data. You can do some optimizations but..... Now the story is a bit different with JavaEE 5 and the Java Persistence API -inspired on Hibernate-.
The bottom line is (as you mention in your post): J2EE/JavaEE are not needed by most of small or mid sized apps. However, I would strongly encourage you to have a look at the JavaEE 5 technology. The fact that portions of the JavaEE technology do not have a counterpart in .NET does not mean that they are not worth to (at least) have a look at them.

Also, on the servlets.properties.

Note : Stop/start the server to take the new value.

There are instructions on this page for finding the IMEI : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061 - if you have a backup of the iPhone on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to find it via the Devices tab in Edit > Preferences
Did you have Find My iPhone enabled on it ? If you did then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone / Find My iPad on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
As well as reporting it to the police, you should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

Urgent!! need help to bounce all the tracks individually with same length.

i have a logic project with 20 (audio/Midi) tracks
and i want to bounce all the tracks individually...
one way i find is to solo every track and bounce the master everytime...
and other way i found was something called export all audio tracks but when i try that all tracks have different length.
i want all the tracks to be of same length and same size..
can anybody help me with that asap....

File>Export>Export All tracks as Audio Files
This will export all tracks from bar 1, beat 1.
I too, am curious why the OP needs his tracks to be the same length. Using the Export feature insures all tracks start from the very beginning (i.e., the same starting point), which is what you want and need when moving the tracks to another DAW.
The length of the track is of no consequence in this example. It plays through the song, until that track is over, like a guitar solo that appears in the middle of a song, but doesn't play past that point.
Unless I'm missing something?

Need an iphone for dev work - just starting out

I'm just starting out with iphone development. I already have another mobile service that I use for personal use so don't have the need for iphone personally. I just want to buy it for development work and will be using my WiFi network as the internet bone.
I dont want to get into a contract with at&t for 2 yrs. Does that mean I will need to buy an iphone for the regular price? Or can I get one cheaper than usual just for dev work?

You will need to choose one as the "master", back that unit up to iTunes, then restore the other unit from that backup and then sync all the same content and apps. That's the only way they'd have identical data. If you need to keep then synched on an ongoing basis, you'll probably need to use some sort of cloud-based service such as iCloud or Dropbox to hold the data, which of course will require that your apps support that service for storage of documents.
