Gen approval confirmation email with PTARQ BEFORE post
Dear all,
In my understanding, the emai forl approval confirmation email generated after the workflow is posted (i.e. record created in infotype).
Would like to know are there any configure can override this setting to send email once the workflow approved.

Thanks for the reply.
What I mean is there are 2 type of email generate in PTARQ
1) Email to notify approval their worklist have items waiting to approve
2) Email to notify the submitter the request is approved/rejected
For type 2, as far as I know it will only generate after the leave is posted but not after approved.
So at the period of payroll run, the leave cannot post and the email will not be able to generate, I just wonder if any configure can override this behavior.

Send confirmation email with form data
Hi:
I need to have a form do several things when the user hits submit and I'm hoping someone can give me some insite:
1. It needs to insert record into my DB (got that one figured out)
2. It then needs to send two emails with all of the form information, the first one to the email address that the user inputs in a field, the second to a general box (ie [email protected]). This is where I am seriously stuck.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!

I was finally able to pre-order the iPhone 4 about 5 hours ago through the AT&T website. It took me to the confirmation screen with the confirmation number. Right then and there I got a confirmation email with the confirmation number. Whenever I go to the link on the email to check the order status it says, "OS001: We're sorry but the information you entered was not recognized by our systems. Please contact us for further assistance."
Does that mean that the order didn't go through? I am a new customer to AT&T and don't have an account online with them so I can't check through that..I posted this earlier. Best thing is to call for your confirmation number
My AT&T order was sooooo slow. Kept timing out. I didnt get a confirmation so I gave up. I kept getting this gateway error. I was paying bills so I checked my checking account and to my surprise it was charged $211. I called AT&T and found out the order did go through and I should expect it on the 24th! Got my web confirmation number and was good to go. About 30 min later I get an email saying my order was cancelled but it was a different order #. I called and made sure everything was ok.
What a day! I didn't know ordering a phone was so hard. -
I have seen users posting new threads, which are discussed earlier and solutions is available in the forums. This just increases the volume of posts.
Can we have a functionality where, before posting a new thread, a search is performed in the forums and similar threads are displayed? If the user does not find a relevant match he/she processed and finally posts the thread?

Confirmation email and tagging for search
If I have understood this right, apple initially sends an email when considering a podcast, and then later a confirmation email with details about submissions. So what happens if your podcast is accepted and available on ITS but you never received the confirmation? I have my podcast up on ITS (discovered by chance) but cannot now provide tags or metadata to enable anyone to find it via the search. My subject is tai chi and the url - http://teapotmonk.blip.tv/rss/itunes. - but alas any search for tai chi will not bring up my podcast without the metadata. Can anyone help me?
I do have exactly the same problem. I got a confirmation from ITS and via the link I can get the podcast.
But not even if I search for Autor or exact name of the podcast it would show up in the search area - so noone can find my podcast now.
Anybody here who has an idea why ???

Sending email with attachment (image)
Is there any way or workaround to send emails with attachments? The only way known to me is to use mailto but how to include attachment then? Has anyone tried to do that with native extensions on iOS?
Maybe someone experienced in ObjectiveC could support the community and write a native extension for sending email with attachments and post it here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/native-extensions-for-air.html

I haven't received my confirmation email
I purchased Lightroom online 3 days ago, and have yet to receive my confirmation email with download instructions and serial number. I actually have a CD that came with my Photoshop CS6 purchase, so I am running the software as a trial currently. The purchase showed up on my credit card, but when I went to my recent purchases, it was not listed and the order number I entered, very carefully, was not recognized.
This is a user-to-user forum, so we can't help with this issue. You need to call Adobe sales and discuss this with them.
By the way, did you check your e-mail's "junk mail folder" to see if it accidentally got put in there? -
No Reports, no confirmation email either.....

Nothing in spam/junk folder.
Original emal I used was a yahoo.com. I did get a confirmation email with a second install (not first) but never received any reports.
In case the problem was yahoo, I changed to hotmail. No confirmation received.
The only feature I need is the reports, and that's what isn't working.
I need to see, then show the reports to get a purchase authorization.
And the online 'see the reports' doesn't work either.The catch is that I see that my PC's are still making connections to NM IP address (cdce-vip.bsn002.internap.com) in the USA regularly. So I presume that reports about my activity are still generated locally on my PC's, are sent to someone (who?) in the USA, but are not formated for flash and sent back to me.
Maybe an explanation from Cisco what is going on here would be helpful? -

I didn't receive a confirmation email when registering with itunes connect (ibooks).
What can I do? I don't like being left alone in the rain. Any status or the posibility to send confirmation email (again)?

I bought a used ipod nano 5th gen and it came with 900 songs on it. How can i transfer, sync, and retain the music before i authorize this unit to my itunes account? It says it will erase all content once I sync with my imac7. Is there anyway to keep the music??? please help!!

When I send an email with Mail, I often confuse the account which I'm using. The result is that I send a message with the wrong account! Is there a way to avoid this (for example a reminder before the email is sent)?
Hi, thanks for the answer, I did that already. Unfortunatly this doesn't help me at all, as I often forget to check the menu. For me composing the message is writing the text, the subject, the person to who is addressed and than press "send".
I often forget to check the "from", and this is a problem because the software select itself one of the accounts.
Isn't there a way at least to put as a default a blank field instead of one of the accounts? or an account which doesn't work so if I forget to specify the "from" I will be rnotofied that the message can't be sent.
I guess this could be a rather common problem for many people!

Hi, just wonder anyone can help. i lost my ipad few weeks ago (already reported to police in UK but they arent helpful), and when i logged in to my apple account, i found another person email added to my apple account (but has not been verified). what can i do to trace ? my ipad hasnt been registered with apple before i lost it, can i registered now (as i still have the package) and then supply the serial no. to apple so they can block that ipad??
i am based in london, but seems now the apple account based in USA.. very strange.

If you did not have an iCloud account set up on the iPad, or did not have the "find my iPad" setting enabled under that account's settings, then you cannot track it remotely.

I've been using Firefox for more than a year and prefer it to Internet Explorer. I'm unaware of any websites or information on a website that I've been unable to access with Firefox before this.
My question contains all the details. I don't know anything about the hospital's systems or website except that they used to have jobs listed under categories and now have a grid format. There are many more jobs posted and accessible through IE than Firefox.Thanks for suggestion. I cleared everything, closed Firefox, rebooted and checked the website again with Firefox and IE. Results same as before. (I clear history, cache, etc. pretty regularly.) From what I can see the website looks the same with both browsers, except for difference in job postings. When I called hospital and asked about it, the HR person I spoke with seemed surprised that I had a problem. Local computer columnist is a big advocate for Firefox, but I've no idea how many people in local area use it, i.e. would see the problem and call to ask about it. For whatever it's worth, the program the hospital uses is from SPECTRUM Human Resource Systems Corporation.
