Gender field in Personal data-Belgium

Hi Experts,
During hiring of an Belgian employee i saved the gender as F.
When i go to PA30 and try to change to M,it is getting saved as F only.
Iam not able to change the gender field from F to M or vice versa.
Is there any note

To determine the gender. SAP system set the Title (Mr/Ms/Miss) as a 1st priority to determine the Gender. Even if you select the gender as F (Female) but the Title is "Mr". When you save the record, system will automatic will change or default (If you did not maintain the gender) the gender base on Title.
Please do select the correct title before you save the record.

We have 3 clients in DEV system,
Configuration and Testing clients are different systems.
Portal connected to Testing client, we are using NWBC for Portal services. So here Portal link is not required as like EP.
It would be highly appreciable, if u can help me Step by step process to achive my requirement (Hiding Mandatory fields of Personal data IT in Personal information services).

Bringing additional field in "Personal Data" iView

Hi All,
This problem might have been discussed on SDN, but I could not locate any concrete solution so posting new question.
We are implementing ESS for multiple countries including US, UK , Japan. Language is english only.
For ESS > Personal Data application, we would like to have Suffix field avaialble on the iView.
There is a field for Suffix in Infotype 0002, but there is no field on the iView.
Questions are :
(1) How this can be brought in the iView?
(2) Can this be done using any configuration or need customization using NWDI ?
(3) Does a single process or config will make it available in iViews of all countries?

Each ESS service is country specific therefore it has to be customizied by country
Regarding adding fields you would normally do this by "Inserting a child" into the relevant views transparent container
- modifying by NWDS is only part of the customization - you still need to ensure the model recognises the
field and passes values to and from the Portal with the correct business logic

Problem with displaying a standard field in Personal Data iView

Hi,
I'm trying to display the field 'Nickname' from infotype 0002 in the Personal Data iView. I searched SDN and SAP Help and all of the replies/documentation refers to "Maintain V_T588MFPROPC". I want to display this field in the Edit and the Review and Save screens.
The steps given in this forum seem straightforward but in reality it's a nightmare. I've spent days and nights debugging and testing, but still couldn't solve this. I can see from my debugging that the field is filled in with the appropriate values in all the internal tables/structures but it is not shown at all in the iView. What I got from maintaining V_T588MFPROPC is just the field's attributes.
How do I actually display the field in the Review and Save screens of the Personal Data iView? Does this involving modification to the iView Java program? Can anyone help?

V_T588MFPROPC is the table where you add the technical field name for the country version you are using
like for USA it is 10
Now the same field if supported should appear in all screens, it if it not then you would need java modification
of the ess component

Singapore - nric field in personal data

Hello,
we noticed that the field NRIC in the personal data for singapore has been greyed out.
Is there a way to activate this ? Or has this a particular reason ?

How to remove mandatory field for Last Name in Personal Data Editing Screen

CUrrently we are using BP_ ERP5ESS1.31 SP5 & SAP_ESS 603 SP5.
All my ESS Services are Displaying fine and working from Portal.I am having the requirement like I need to make Last Name as Non-Mandatory field in Personal Data. While Editing the PD Screen, there i will find the * mark for Last Name filed, i checked through the Global Personalization Make as Mandatory is Not Personalized its showing, i think its defualt prpoerty,so i am unable make any changes from Portal w.r.t Global Personalization.
I checked in SPRO-- Personal Admin> Custmomizing User Interfaces>Change Screen Modifications, there i find the respective Module pool for those Infotypes and country Specific..
I cheked forModulePool MP000200--> P0002 and Variable Key-40(For India) P0002 - NACHIN -- LastName only OF Radio Button is Selected all other Rado buttons are not selected.
I Checked in V_T588MFPROPS view there for 0002 Infotype P0002 -- NACHN Mandatory check box is Checked all other check boxes are Unchecked.
How to make that Last Name field as Non-Mandatory in Personal Data Edit Screen, where i need to make the changes.'
Please list out the Steps..Where i need to do the configuration. And i assigned all the required ESS roles on the backend.

Hi,
I don't think supressing through Global Personalization will change the business logic. Within the Business Logic it checks for the mandatory field.
After the changes I guess you need to make the changes accordingly.

MSS Personal data iview

HI Experts,
I have to add phone field in personal data iview.
I am using EP7.0 Portal ,and this is a webdynrpo based iview,I wanted to know whether there is any hidden field for phone or we need to add this field or is there any configuration required from backend.

Hi,
If this field already manitained at r3 side, you need to get that field from R3 as same what the other fileds you are getting. Nothing is required for this only thing you have to Map this field and you have to bind this field to your view.

How to add a input field for personal ID in My Account - Personal Data

I am new for B2C shop development. Now I have to add a ID number in Personal Data of My Account in B2C shop. This field is in the assignmemnt block of Identification Number, but it seems not easy to add this field in B2C shop JSP page.

How to make Birth date field (GBDAT) under IT0002 Personal data editable

Hello Consultants,
We had initially Birth date field (GBDAT) under IT0002 Personal data editable ...But after upgrade is made non editable...
We want to make it editable again..

1. Go to PA30 >> Infotype 0002 >> On Date of Birth Field >> Enter F1 and find the Technical Parameter and idenfity which Screen is being Used... say for Eg: MP000200 / 2010
2. Go to Feature P0002 in PE03 and then identify the Return code for the Molga and Co. Code.
This Return feature is nothing but the Variable Key. Say for Example: 10
3. Now Go to SM30 >> T588M.....
3. Idenfity the Screen that you found in the step 1 and Variable Key you found in Step 2.
i.e. MP000200 / 2010 / 10
5. Double Click on that record and Find the Screen Field P0002-GBDAT... this has been set to Output Field... change it to Standard and it will work.

Hi Gurus
I am able to launch the Personal Information screen under Personal Profile
I will need to add more fields on the Personal Profile --> Personal Data section
I have added the infotype in V_T7XSSPERSUBTY
I am not sure if I will need to do some configuration GenIL Model Editor
Is BADI (Enh. Imp) HRESS_PER_CONFIG_KEY relevant to adding fields to the screen?
Please guide how to go about doing this

In EhP5 ESS Personal Profile application, in order to change the
Address overview page fields, you need to adapt the Address component
configuration HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_ADDRESS_XX.
Note: In EhP5, ESS screens are based on Floor Plan Manager for
WebDynpro ABAP Generic UI Building Block concept. To configure
overview page fields we no longer use 'Determine Fields for Business
Card on Area Page' View instead of that we adapt the FPM configurations.
In the standard delivery in the Overview Page, always international
Address is displayed and in the edit screen based on the country
selection (Foreign Address scenario), corresponding country screens
are displayed.
Note: We always show international address screen in overview page in
order to support Foreign Address scenario.

Add field to E-Recruitment Candidate Profile / Personal Data Screen

Hi Experts,
I have a very specific requirement. I need to display a date field from date spec infotype in e-recruitment. The date type will vary depending on the internal candidate's personnel subarea. This field needs to be visible to both the candidate and the recruiter, but uneditable.
How can I achieve this? What is the best approach? I was thinking about adding it to the Personal Data in the Candidate Profile.

Yes, it will wok with Webdynpro
The table T77RCF_PRMC_PL is for customer smartforms, this is where you should insert a record for your new custom smartform, the record will not be there by default, you have to insert it via table maintenance sm30
The default standard smartform is fetched from table T77RCF_PRM_PL for standard smartforms, entry with parameter name FORM_CAND_DOVR
So you have to create an entry in the customer smartforms table T77RCF_PRMC_PL with similar parameter name but with the name of your new custom smartform in the value field...
The logic works like this: it will try to find an entry in the customer table first (T77RCF_PRMC_PL), if it cannot find an entry with parameter name FORM_CAND_DOVR, it will go to the standard table (T77RCF_PRM_PL) where the entry exists by default.
To look into the logic more closely please go to the following method:

Inside the above method, the logic is implemented inside the following method call:
CALL METHOD cl_hrrcf_t77rcf_prm_pl=>read_record

Personal Data - Field value PERID deleted when saving

Hi,
When the user updates the personal data view in ESS the field Social Security - PERID gets updated with blank value (i.e. if you only change nationality or any other field). I'm not sure what is causing this, I'm not getting the same problem when updating the infotype directly in the backend.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Error while creating Personal data

Hi All,
I do not belong to SAP HR area , i was creating Personal data using PA30 ..here on entering First name & last name , on saving i get the below erro :
Entry does not exist - check your entry
Message no. 00 058
Diagnosis
Input values must be defined in Table V_T522G. The value or values ' ' are not specified in this table.
Procedure
Check whether the input is correct and correct if necessary.
Procedure for System Administration
If this is not an incorrect entry, check the system settings and change them if necessary.
If there is a connection to the Customizing system, you can maintain the system settings by choosing Maintain entries (F5)
I followed the error and have gone to view V_T522N_A and made some entries .. but still i get the same above error .
Note : I am getting the above error for a particular personnel area assigned to country code 29 ..
Provide some inputs on the above.

Hi Pushpa,
This might be because of blank value in field P0002-ANRED. Field 'Title' in infotype 0002 for Argentina is mandatory, so it should not be hidden.
Anyway, as a workaround for your requirement, by creating a empty entry in T522G the issue should be solved.
e.g. create an entry just with Gender '1'. Once that entry is created, then modify it by deleting the gender value, therefore that entry is empty in all the fields.
Anyway, this is a workaround. It is not possible to hide Title field for Argentina.

Sharepoint Foundation 2013 People field wont save data

Guys, having an issue with a list column. We have some columns that are Person or Group. when we enter in a user, it finds it just fine saves it just fine. but if i come back into that list and edit some other field the Person or Group field is totaly
cleared out. I don't know what is going on. we are using SharePoint foundation 2013.

If you're using SharePoint 2013 April 2013 CU or higher, this is a known issue where the People data is missing in Edit view. There is a separate issue that is resolved in the September 2014 CU:

Invalid parameter SECONDARY_RECORD-PSKEY Error in Personal Data Screen

We are using EHP6. The Personal Data iview is throwing an error while trying Edit something.
I am able to add a new register but getting the following dump while trying to Edit/Save

I looked through SAP Note-1815863 - Dump in Class CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_CONTAINER Method. However all the tables mentioned in that Note seemed to be configured properly.

sap > bc> webdynpro > HRESS_A_PERSINFO ----check this once activate or not ...right click and check is it activated or not
I also have run the report RPUFIXDS for that personal number, , however the issue follow.
The error not occur when I delete the register for the the following V_T582V & V_T582W, however the fields for the infotype secondary not appear in the dynpro of the infotype 0002.

There could be several possible causes
Usually this error occurs if a secondary infotype functionality has been delivered via SP or SNOTE for infotype 0002 but the PERNR you are using does not have secondary infotype record
Tables V_T582V & V_T582W determine if a secondary infotype will be used - if you remove entries here this will deactivate the secondary infotype useage - this might be one way to resolve the issue - but perhaps you wish to use the secondary infotype - in some cases it might be required- for example ESS might expects a secondary infotype and throw an error if there is an issue
If you wish to use the secondary infotype you need the delivered entries in V_T582V & V_T582W and you need to run RPUPAV00 for any PERNR that has a 0002 record existing prior to the new secondary infotype being introduced to ensure they have a secondary infotype record key that matches the primary infotype key
