under Material Management in SPRO under General Settings for Materials Management
1. Set material block for goods movements Lock Exclusively and (ii) Late lock
2. Set Up Material Block for Invoice Verification

Pls tell me which option i should select in which case?

Hi,
Each option have some time advantage on the other one, when the subject material is blocked for other users, preventing them from carrying out any IM postings.
For goods movement process, Exclusive block will hold the item code for longer time than Late block.
It is better to go with the stadard settings of 'Exclusive block' for Goods movement and 'blocked at first read' for invoice verification.

After I run an initial load data into the InfoCube 0PUR_C01, I want to check the InfoCube Content by the following path:
RSA1 -> pick up the InfoCube 0PUR_C01, right click it and select Manage -> Get to Content tab -> Click InfoCube Content button -> Deselect all selection, only tick the 1st column checkbox next to 0Material, then hit enter, get a small window titled as "Cancel" with a red STOP msg sysing "Settings for material number conversion not found" with an "Exit" button and a question mark button, click Exit button leads to SAP Easy Access screen, if clicking the question mark button, another window pops up with the msg showed above, click Technical Information button causes the original window short dump and the short dump msg shows below in between two dashed lines:

    The current ABAP program "SAPLSHL2" had to be terminated because on

    The program was probably called in a conversion exit
    or in a field exit. These are implemented by
    function modules called CONVERSION_EXIT_xxxxx_INPUT/OUTPUT or
    USER_EXIT_xxxxx_INPUT.
    Conversion exits are triggered during screen field transports or
    WRITE statements, field exits during field transports from the
    screen to the ABAP/4 program.
    In this connection, the following ABAP/4 statements are not allowed:

How to set the same General settings for all users

Hi Experts,
How can i set the same general settings for all users e.g. marking the checkbox "Display header" to true for all users? General settings are possible under User Settings Button.

Hi Arti!
You can default user settings in a PFCG role, in the "personalization" tab.
If you have a PFCG role that is common to all your users, you can set the default values here.
However it does not prevent them to change these settings later, except if you modify the "user settings" fields properties in cProjects application.

When I try to create sales order error is coming Comany code IN02 not set up for material management. In OMSY I have changed current and previous accordingly.

This is not a reply from an expert. I am practicing in IDES on my own in my house. I try to do all things in configuration on my own with the available study material.
Whenever I get any error first I try myself whether it takes 2/3 days to get it resolved. Then I go to Google for further search help. Finally I go to SCN.

This is a hard one, my friend. I understand what you are trying to do.. Try BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC. It is tricky though.
Moreover you might want to use a FM to fill the IDOC data. something like IDOC_INPUT_**. this might be a better option.

SMOEAC site settings for material replication

SRM Gurus,
While doing the settings for material replication, in SMOEAC transaction
I am trying to create site 'SRM' of type CRM, In the site attributes if I enter RFC destination 'SRMCLNT001' and click on get values I am getting the following message "RFC destination SRMCLNT001 does not exist. No valid backend system".
Can someone please suggest what I need to check/configure to fix this issue?
Info:
R/3 side : RFC destination SRMCLNT001 (for connecting to SRM 5.0 system) created and remote logon tested OK.
Completed all CRM* table settings
SRM side: RFC destination R3CLNT800 (for connecting to ECC 6.0) created and remote logon tested OK

Make sure you have created the RFC destination in SRM also. You need to create the following:
RFC destination of SRM in SRM and in R/3.
RFC destination of R/3 in R/3 and SRM.

I had this problem on an IMac and I finally found a solution in an unlikely place. The problem was a security setting. I don't remember right this moment the exact setting and I am not on that machine right now but when I am I will try to retrace my steps to the fix. In the meantime check your security settings and any browser or browser extensions for computer log off settings. These settings are intended to prevent unauthorized use and incidentally screw up your backups. Hope this helps.

AirPort Express is working.
I have triedf the following steps and attempted to enable Wi-Fi after each one.
Verified that Airplane Mode is turned off.
I'm running the latest version of iOS.
I have Reset Network Settings more than several times, along with complete restore several times in iTunes.

Settings for Material shortage status (MSPT) in PM orders

For the purpose of material availability check in PM order, i have made the settings in IMG (OPJJ,OIOI).
Still i am getting error that "No Checking group maintained for production (Component) in Plant xxxx. I have maintained the availability check in Sales: General plant data of Material change mode (MM02). then i am getting the PM order status MSPT for material status.
To avail this status i have to maintain availability check all components? any other method to avail the same facility?

Should we need to activate material ledger for parallel valuation in material management, but the company is not actually into production but it still require activation of material ledger.

How I understand it using the U.S as my example:
In the first transaction code, in other words, F.05 or FAGL_FC_VAL are used if the currency in the transaction is not the same as the local currency of the company. For instance, U.S GAAP mandates companies to report their financial statements in local or functional currency. So let's say the transaction currency for a U.S company code is/was GBP. However, GBP is not the local currency of the U.S company code so you would to have perform foreign currency valuation with any of the above named transaction codes using the exchange rate of the key date specified at the time of the valuation. This valuation will then give you a gain or loss as a result of differences between the original amount and the revaluated amount.
The second transaction code FAGL_FC_TRANS valuates the balances or additional currencies. But to be able to run this second transaction code, you would first have to perform FAGL_FC_VAL or F.05 first (this is a prerequisite).
So even if you are to perform currency translation, you will still need to run FAGL_FC_VAL first.
