Generate a new pdf report with itens on my pdf form

Hi! My name is Heitor.
I have Adobe Forms Central and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro installed on my machine.
I would like to know if its possible to make a pdf report.
Example: Clicking in a button "print" on my already open and filled pdf form, and gathering all my 30 itens (see that i am only showing 5 itens on my form. but on my form exists a "Add" button to add itens on variables) on a dropdown list and generating a new pdf report with all these itens listed.

I will try to explain in more details the problem.
I have identified that the bar code name into the PDF output is lowercase (mw6code39mt).
I only visualize or print the PDF output with the bar code when I manually alter that bar code name from lowercase to uppercase (MW6Code39MT).
I do that in my Unix server using the vi editor.
Please, see what I need to alter in the PDF output file on Unix server:

Get Windows message "Terminate 5-1" after printing pdf reports with Orarrp

Hi,
I get error message "Terminate 5-1" on clients machine after pdf report is printed with Orarrp.
The clients is Windows XP with acrobat reader 5.
I test on acrobat reader 6 and get the same result.
This occur for all pdf reports and all clients.
However this message just shows when perform printing, if I cancel printing from print dialog box then this message does not show.
How can I avoid this message?

Hi,
I have same error message(Message Title: TerminateProcess Value; Message Body: 5-1) showing up when using Orarrp to print directly to printer on WEB using Oracle Forms. On my pc it shows when I have adobe acrobat reader opened up already and on others it may shows even if adobe acrobat is not already opened. However document gets printed but this is very annoying for the user to see this message.
Client Environments:
1. Windows XP, HP LaserJet 5P and HP LaserJet 4100 Series PCL, Adobe Acrobat 6.0
2. Windows 2000 Professional, HP LaserJet 4000 Series PCL, Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and 6.0

Hi Kulwinder,
We are getting this problem whenever we go through the following steps:
- Generate a PDF report without an ORARRP file extension on a dedicated reports server. Preview the report by opening in Adobe Reader using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT.
- Generate a PDF report with a ORARRP file extension of rrpa on a dedicated reports server. Directly print the report without a print dialog box using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT to invoke ORARRP.
After printing the Terminate Process 5-1 message appears and Adobe is left running. If the first step is missed out then printing occurs without error and Adobe closes automatically.
Please could you give more information on how you solved the problem. I am using Windows XP and Adobe 7.

PDF Report with MS word document attchments in Shared Drive

Hello,
I need PDF report with attachments. the attachments ( could be image , word document) are stored in a shared drive made accessible from apps server.
Please let me know if this is doable using xml publisher and what is the approach.

Are you using a mouse, or a trackpad on a laptop? Either way, your cursor is usually an arrow, right? And presumably it's working/moving MOST of the time, otherwise you wouldn't be able to do anything?
For example, can you move the cursor arrow to the "Annotate" tool to click on it and go into Annotate mode? If so, can you click on the text tool? If so, does the cursor change to a crosshairs? At what point can you NOT move the cursor around the screen?

PDF Report with Korean font work fine in 9iDS but not in 9iAS

I am using Oracle 9i Application Server 9.0.2.0.0, When i try to run the report using Korean font The pdf report not showing the korean font correctly.
I tried the same in 9ids , which is working properly. I have done exactly the same setting in 9ias, but it is not working.
The Oracle ias report service dialog shows version 9.0.2.0.3
My 9ias settings
NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA.KO16KSC5601
In uifont.ali the settings are
[ PDF ]
.....ZHT16BIG5 = "MSungStd-Light-Acro"
.....ZHS16CGB231280 = "STSongStd-Light-Acro"
.....KO16KSC5601 ="HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro"
Installed the Korean font(HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro) from Adobe site
the font file HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro exist in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Resource\CIDFont
also installed the asian Suit 2000(Union Way) on the ias server.
I have checked the Smoothing display option also in Acrobat 5. The Document font is showing
Origial font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID) Encoding=KSC-EUC-H
Actual font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID)

As such there is no change in both the report servers , same output in win2000 and win2003. I am generating the rep from 9ids for both 9ids and 9ias, and i am using font UWKMJF which is korean charecter support, but 9ias is generating some junk charecters with spacing , 9ids is working fine.
The PDf Document font is showing
Origial font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID) Encoding=KSC-EUC-H
Actual font = HYSMyeongJoStd-Medium-Acro type=type1 (CID)
which is same as 9ids, but the data displaying in the pdf are not proper.
As you mentioned about the patch, which patch i have to apply. can you please also mention the patch numbers.

Create PDF report with APEX and Oracle 11g doesn't work

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the downloading of PDF reports from APEX with Oracle 11g.
When I try to download a PDF, Acrobat Reader says it can not open the file.
I have done the same test in an environment with APEX and Oracle 10g and it works perfectly.
Does anyone know if there is a known bug for version 11g.

PDF Report with chinese work fine in 9iDS but not in 9iAS

I use oc4j in oracle 9iDS,it can display chinese no problem through set pdf font subset.
However,when i deploy it to oracle 9i AS ,and i have set 9ias Report services according to oracle 9i DS's setting,it don't work fine with chinese in pdf report.
it's urgent ,i must deploy my application soon.who can help me?Thanks in advance!

it don't work fine with chinese in pdf report.Not sure whether you are able to generate the PDF or it has the charactres crumbled?
For me. it is definitely seems to be a configuration issue.
It is hard to help, as you haven't given enough information on your environment.
Please check your setup for the entries for uifont.ali and your fonts in REPORTS_PATH.
Please go through the PDF whitepaper in OTN.

PDF report with bar code

Hello.
I am creating a PDF report using the Oracle Reports 6i running on Oracle Concurrent Manager.
The PDF report has a bar code.
The report finish with success but it is visualized without the bar code.
Into the output report the bar code name is small font (mw6code39mt) always.
I can visualize the output report when I manually alter the bar code name from small font to large font (MW6 Code39MT) only. I do it in my Unix server using the text editor.
The bar code name installed in my PC is large font (MW6 Code39MT)
I am experiencing problem when visualizing or printing the output report.
Has somebody experience about it or some idea about how can I to configure the Unix server or Oracle to solve the problem?

PDF Report with BLOB image

I have a PDF report produced from APEX using BI Publisher. I also have up to 4 images stored in BLOB fields that I would like to include in the PDF report. I found a reference for how to do this with APEX 3.1 (using a blob2clobase64 function), however I am using APEX 3.0 and this does not seem to work with this version. Does anyone have an example of how I can achieve this with APEX 3.0 and BI Publisher? Thanks, Karen.

How to Customise new ISO27002 reports with iReport

Hi.
Any Idea how I can customise new ISO27002 reports on iReports. ISO27002
reports are included in Sentinel 7.1 and ISO27002 Solution pack. I'm
especially interested in "Additional criteria" feature, which is not
found on old reports.
Sentinel SDK doesn't include ISO27002 reports. I tried to open ISO27002
reports with iReports. It opens just fine, but when I try to compile
report, I get bunch of error messages.

I found three jar files (master.jar, reportutils,jar and
taxonomyutils.jar). I added master.jar to iReport classpath ("Add
File"), moved master.jar to the top of class path, and now I can compile
report. (I'll add other jar files later, if it seems that those are
needed too).
I haven't yet tested if I can actually create a report that works.
Tomorrow I'll pick one ISO27002 report, tweak it some, and try to import
it back to Sentinel.
One extra question. Is there any way to import new ISO27002 report to
SDK, so I can see those in Eclipse's Sentinel SDK/Reports folder? Or
should I just open those reports I wish to customize directly with
iReport?

BIP fails to render a pdf report with Read timed out

If a run a report with large query/data, BIP after 2 minutes fails with this error: java.sql.SQLException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.
