Generate causes SCC Query Error: Unhandled exception

Hi folks,
I have Robohelp X5, I am composing on my local machine with
saves going to an RCS server. I've pretty much figured out that RCS
has a problem with the skins in Robohelp, because if I go to create
a custom skin, I can create it in a non-controlled project. The
second I go to create a custom skin in the controlled version, I
get an infinite loop of the SCCQueryError message, Unhandled
Exception Message Boxes. I have to kill Robohelp, and reboot to get
out of the error message.
Whenever I go to generate the verson controlled project, I
get at least six of these error messages, but the project is
generated and I can open it and can't seem to find anything
missing. So, even though I get the errors in a generate, they don't
affect the ability to generate a project.
I've already checked to be sure that the RCS server is
accepting all the file extensions.. that was my first thought was
that it didn't like the .swf extensions.
Anyone else have or see this problem?

Thank you Eilsa... It's a touch complicated, but I am working
off my hard drive, and Robohelp is installed on my hard drive. The
webhelp file that is integrated with the project is being pushed to
the a folder on the development server where RCS resides, and my
project files are being archived in another directory on the RCS
version tracker.
I get the SCC query error (which seems to be an RCS version
tracker error) right after I generate either a local or server
webhelp, about six in all. So I'm thinking that there is some file
extension that RCS is blocking, because I don't get the errors when
I do the same thing with a non-version tracked project.
Forget about trying to create any skins.. (and this is on my
local, too) I have to switch to a non-version tracked project to
create the skins.
But just trying to see if anyone else has seen the
problem..

CR with Universe error: Unhandled exception in WebI server call

I encounter an error when creating CR report with did any one ever got Unhandled exception in WebI server call when dragging objects into filter querys of query panel? Based on my knowledge, the error “unhandled exception has occurred in your application” always happens along with the following message when installing SQL Server 2008 R2:
“An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for userSettings/Microsoft.SqlServer.Configuration.LandingPage.Properties.Settings: Could not load file or assembly 'System, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'
or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. “
If you encounter such issue, please perform the following steps to solve it.
1.Go to your app data directory by going to start > run > %appdata% .
2.This will by default take you to the "roaming" folder, go up one directory and move into the "Local" folder.
3. Go to the "Microsoft_Corporation" folder.
4. Delete the relevant folders from the "Microsoft_Corporation" folder.

Group Policy changes cause Access Denied error for Domain Admin account

Hi All,
I am battling to get WSUS to work, and I think the route cause is problems editing the domain and domain controller group policy objects.
We have 1 DC, approx 20 clients. 1 GPO for DC, 1 GPO for clients. Ther e is a link to the default domain GPO in our staff (users) OU, I don't know if it should be there or not.
I log in as domain administrator, right-click the domain GPO in GPMC, click Edit.
Find the setting I want to edit (specify intranet microsoft update service location), double click.
Change something, click OK.
I get error:
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continute.
Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005
(E_ACCESSDENIED)).
I have followed the steps in the links posted by Brent in another post called: "restricting-domain-admin-account-to-edit-group-policies" (no links allowed for my account yet sorry) and the user does have edit settings, delete, modify security delecation.
PLEASE NOTE: the solution may very well be something very simple/basic. I am reasonably computer savvy, but have just upgraded the whole network for an NGO on a voluntary basis. Never seen a sever before I came here, but I'm the best they have. Please bare
that in mind when offering advice :)

More diagnostic info:
Inside GPMC, there's Group Policy Results.
If I right-click, Result Wizard, choose this computer, it works fine showing default domain controllers policy with alert that it's enforced.
If I browse for another PC (it comes up as Domain\PC name), click Next, I get error:
Failed to connect to DOMAIN\PCNAME due to the error listed below. Ensure that the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service is enabled on the target computer, and consult the event log of the target computer for further details.
Details: the RPC server is unavailable.
If you need the recent related events, I will post them. I also checked that service on the client - it's automatic and started.
PPS Clients are all Win 7, PCs are 32bit, laptops are 64. Server is Windows Server 2012 Datacenter. WSUS when clicking Help -> About from the snap-in/GUI: 6.2.9200.16384.
PPPS Directory browsing for the whole WSUS object in IIS is enabled, thanks to SorinAlbu over at Spiceworks post WSUS and IIS.
PPPPS Launching IE and loading http://servername:8530/iuident.cab fails 404 error from both clients and server. That file in C:\Program Files\Update Services\WebServices\Root\iuident.cab doesn't exist. Maybe because we recently removed the WSUS role and reinstalled
it, to check if something went wrong the first time? It's all been configured using the snapin/GUI, but the new installation of the role hasn't yet connected to the Microsoft Update servers.
PPPPPS Added the Application Server role with default settings as recommended by the step by step guide to WSUS at Technet. Still no dice.

Unhandled Exception thrown

running on W2003 SP 2, CRXI's java and activex viewers throw an exception (over the obligatory white screen). First time running on this particular box. The activex add-in does show as enabled in IE6.
Actual error:
Unhandled exception at 0x33dbf8e7 in iexplore.exe: 0xC0000005
access violation reading location 0x0000004c.
this appears when VS2005 is allowed to attempt a debug.
Tried the same routine on a different W2003 SP2 machine earlier this week without incident.
Any ideas on what gives?

Hi All,
I have created a custom web part in VS 2008 for Share point server 2010 with DevExpress v12.2.17, and deployed as Sandboxed solution. when i add that web parts in web part zone i am getting the error as "Web Part Error:
Unhandled exception was thrown by the sandboxed code wrapper's Execute method in the partial trust app domain: An unexpected error has occurred. ".
If there is any way to get detailed error either log file or event viewer.
Kindly advice to find the cause of the problem.

Are you impersonating your code? Have you tried to debug your code by attaching SPUCHostService.exe? if not please do so.
You also need to check ULS log for more information about this error. Here is one ref link if this could help

EM failed to show any charts on home screen with "Unhandled exception..."

Unhandled exception in crw32.exe when dragging field onto report

I support a Crystal Reports Designer XI user who is receiving an error:
Unhandled exception at 0x00891ff3 in crw32.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000020.
So far, this only appears to happen when she drags a field from Field Explorer onto a new or existing report. The data connection to the database appears not to be the issue, as she accesses that DB from different applications with no problem.
DEP is set with Crystal as an exception, I have uninstalled and reinstalled along with deleting temp files and leftover registry keys, I have closed all other applications, I have granted her admin rights, disabled VirusScan, and nothing seems to fix this issue. She had this issue once before on a different computer (with the same software installed) and we ended up getting her a new computer at around the same time so the issue never needed to be resolved. On the current computer she was working problem-free for about 3-4 months, and a few days ago it started showing up on her new computer. I could rebuild her Windows profile but that is a huge hassle and I don't think of that as a permanent fix.

Hi Nick,
CR XI is NOT DEP aware and will never be. Only option is to upgrade to XI R2 and SP 6 for free or disable DEP. DEP was released after XI and XI is past it's end of life so no new patches to fix the problem.
Go to this link: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc and download the trial version of CR XI R2 and use your XI keycode, then apply the patches which you can get to by clicking on the BusinessObjects tab above, then Downloads.

Anyway, so I've been trying to create a log in form here, quite succesfull, until I got the error:

When the compiler tells you that, it is not telling you that the URL is malformed. Indeed, it does not have a way of knowing that. What it is telling you is that the URL constructor throws exception MalformedURLException, and you have to catch it. You have to catch it even if you are sure that the argument you supply to URL() will always be fine.
I would just tell you how simple the fix is and show you, but you should probably check out the java exceptions tutorial instead so that you understand it yourself for future reference. You need to know how to handle exceptions anyway since they are an integral part of Java. You need to use them if you do anything beyond the very basics.

Yes, I have imported all the transports and all of they are success. I am able to use SAP authentication and able to create connection and retrive all InfoCubes and Quries also. Error is only when i select the query to create universe.
As i understand from the erros shown is , in the server some graphis card or driver is missing.
Moreever, I am looking for loging into the Desinger using SAP authentication from Client machine. For SAP authentication, i should install Integration Kit in client machine.( corect me if i am wrong ). To install Integration KiT , it is asking Crystol report server in desktop before integration kit.
Does it require ?

I have converted a LabWindows CVI project to Visual Studio 2005. When I start the application i debug mode I get the message "Unhandled exception at 0x685662ba in EE352-500V.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000."
It comes when the application calls: InitCVIRTE in this context:

I think that exception might be coming from the data execution prevention service that is part of Win XP SP2. The OS thinks that you're somehow trying to execute in the data segment and kills the process. It's intended to catch worms and viruses.
You can turn this service off for non-Microsoft programs using the control panel.
Many pointer handling errors now report as this exception instead of as a memory violation exception. That looks like a null pointer derefence to me.

Upgrading instance to PL 10 on Web Tools - causes Unhandled Exception Error

Help - trying to do an upgrade to an existing PL 08 Web Tools live site on a hosted Web Server.
When I run the installer and as to do an upgrade to an existing instance, I hit the finish (or really start) button and I get this unhandled exception error

In all likelihood, the dlls are not being replaced because they are in use, and the installer is trying to load the old version which did not get replaced.
You can try manually turning off the synch service and messaging service. Also, make sure the synch manager is not running.
Then uninstall.
Check the installer and synchmanager directoriesw in your C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Web Tools folder (or where ever it was installed) to make sure all .dll and .exe files have been removed. If not, something is probably still open an using them.
If the dll and exes have been cleared out. Then run the installer (the installer that installs the installer )
check the version of the files that were installed in synchmanager and installer directories.
they should be 2007.0.630.10.

Weblogic (unhandled Exception) and getConnection error

yesterday weblogic server was running today i came and checked the logs there was a disconnection between application and database due to maintenance issue.
i just new that some one from support team did restart only the deplyments installed inside the server not the whole weblogic server.
