Generate CF (Customs Form) 7501 - Entry Summary

Hello Folks,
We use F8 (Proforma Invoice) to trigger CF 7525 V - Shippers Export Declaration. If the scenario involves implementation of SAP GTS Customs scenario, we transfer F8 and this is independent of we transferring Sales Order or Outbound Delivery Note to SAP GTS. My question is the following.
- Import scenario - SAP GTS 7.2
- Import Documentation after Good Receipt
- Generate CF 7501 - Entry Summary in GTS
- No Inbound Delivery created in SAP (PO followed by a GR)
- Do we still need Inbound Delivery even though we tranfer Good Receipt/Material Document to SAP GTS
- Can we use G/R to trigger creation of the Import Docs which was created with Ref. to a PO
I am sure someone must have had come across a similar challenge in their assignment. I will be glad if someone can throw some light on this scenario. All SAP Documents insist that the Material Document is created with Ref. to the Inbound Delivery.
Thanks folks.

  • Additional Data to be added to 7501/Entry Summary form?

    Hi,
Just wanted to know if there is any way we could add additional data in the Entry Summary /7501 form?
If some extra data needs to be added in the form can this be accomplished through GTS? If Yes then do you think any enhancements should be done?
    Thanks,
    Shruthi

    Hi ,
You can have your custom Z ot Y Form created with the additional data you required . It is possible in GTS, if you first make sure that the additional data that you looking for is present in GTS.
    Kind regards,
    Sameer

  • Custom Form Entry and how to properly use it on a folder

    Hello,
I created a custom form based on an example from coolsolution, and I want to use it in one folder.
I does select it within folder configuration.
The problem is that when i create an entry, my form appears, but when I click on OK, it's the old form from the example I found which appears. Then, if I try to modify the entry, I come back to my form, but all the data I entered have been deleted.
In the form editing tool, I deleted all the old fields (from the example). But still teaming found them somewhere.
Could you help me and tell in which step I made a mistake ?
    thanks,
    Guillaume

Start with a new form. When in the Form designer, notice there are two primary sections: Form and View
Add your elements to the Form, for instance a text box.
Then go into the view and add the same text box (you will see it in the list on the right hand side) to the view.
Now try to use this form in the folder to create an entry.
    Does it work?

  • How to find custom forms in FND_FORM

    Hi All,
I Retrieved data from fnd_form table.I got total forms. But i want only custom forms. How to find custom forms. How to retrieve only custom forms.
    Thanks& Regards,

    Hi,
    Edit form
You use this form to create or change individual documents (for example, single news items). Typically, this form contains input fields in which you can create content (for example, the title or text for a news item).
    Show form
You use this form to display a single document. Typically, the Show form displays all elements of a document (for example, the title, author, and all the text contained in a news item). Do not use entry controls on the Show form.
    RenderListItem form
You use this form to define the layout of a list entry in a folder in the flexible user interface. Typically, you display some of the elements of a document, such as the title and summary of a news item, on this form. You call up the Show form if you want to display the entire document.
You do not create pushbuttons or links for creating, changing, or deleting XML documents in the RenderListItem form. You define which commands are to be displayed using command groups of the flexible user interface. You can create several iViews for displaying the same XML documents with different command groups.
    ListEdit form
You use this form to change a list of documents. Typically, this form contains pushbuttons for creating, changing, and deleting entries. You call up the Edit form if you want to change or create content. You call up the Show form if you want to display all entries.
      ListShow form
You use this form to display a list of documents. Typically, this form only displays part of a document element (for example, the title of a news item). You call up the Show form if you want to display the entire document.

  • Upgrade from 11i to R12 - Custom Forms,Reports and Workflows

    Dear Community Friends,
We are planning for upgrade from oracle apps 11.5.10.2 to R12.
We have custom Forms,Form Libraries,Reports and Workflows.
Kindly provide me for approach on how to migrate Custom form libraries, reports and Workflows.
I beleive, this thread will exists as one shot point for custom forms, reports, workflow upgradation from 11i to r12 with detailed steps.
I know that many links exists here in the forum for all the above objects mentioned, but still from all those i am able to get a clear picture for oracle forms but not for custom form libraries ,reports and workflows.
Also, this post will provide a low level, practical picture of the steps for those who are in line with this.
Links i have read for all these in our forum are:
    For Custom Forms,
Re: Planning to upgrade from 11i to R12
Re: Custom forms: After upgrading 11i to R12
ofcourse,'n' number of links exists providing metalink notes also.
Hussain,Helios and some others also has given many updates regd this.
    For custom workflow upgradation,
    Upgrade Workflow 11i to R12
    Workflow Upgrade
    Workflow Upgrade
For reports, links mentioned the below metalink notes:
Do Not Compile EBS R12 Reports Using rwconverter.sh or Reports Builder from IDS 10gR2 [ID 786794.1]
Using the OracleAS 10.1.2 Forms and Reports Builders with Oracle Applications Release 12 [ID 444248.1]
Per my understanding, after searching in many threads,i am here by summarising the practical low level steps for custom forms migration
Please correct me,if i am wrong.
    1) Download the Forms(.fmb's) and all PLL's(all the PLL from resource folder in AU_TOP) into a Local Machine Folder
    2) Open the forms using Forms Developer 10G and connect to DB
    3) Compile by clicking compilein Forms Developer and then save it.
    4) Upload the Saved Forms(.fmb's) into the new R12 server(system) in the respective custom paths(paths similar to 11i Server)
    5) Compile all the forms using the command like below(example command is shown below or f60 gen commands or frmcmp.sh utility) in the respective custom form paths,
    this will generate the .fmx's.
    frmcmp_batch module=FORMNAME.fmb userid=apps/apps output_file=FORMNAME.fmx compile_all=yes
    Link for compiling forms: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/ui/km/SearchDocDisplay.jspx?_afrLoop=359210362972527&type=DOCUMENT&id=1085928.1&displayIndex=3&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=c348xvwbg_98
    6) Open the form and check in R12 instance
As per my understanding for custom form libraries,we can just copy paste the PLL's from 11i server to R12 server (Please correct me,if i am wrong)
Can anyone please help me out in custom reports and custom workflows.Sorry that,i could not get a practical and clear picture for reports and also for workflow even after referring many threads and metalink notes mentioned.
As for reports, some says that Developer Suite 10g can be used and .rdf can be used in R12.
Some says that reports should be converted to XML published as reports does not exists in R12.
So,i am not clear on this.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh

So,i am not clear on this. You can still use RDF files in R12, and just follow the approach you mentioned above, and you do not have to migrate them to XML publisher (though it is recommended, but this can be done after the upgrade as an enhancement task).
For custom workflow, you need also to do the same thing, open them using workflow builder and make sure they work in R12 (correct the code if required and save them again in R12 once they work properly).

  • Calling Custom Form from Another Form

    Hi All,
I have created a Custom form using TEMPLATE.fmb and created functions in Apps and assigned to Responsibility etc and it all works OK.
Now, I need to call this Custom form from another seeded(PO form) Via Tools -> Menu.
using Forms personalization I can get the Menu Entry and Actions to execute the Form successfully from the PO Form.
BUT, I need it to automatically query records in my CUSTOM form based on my current PO_HEADER_ID value on my PO Form.
How can I do it ?
Do I need to modify my Block and add some parameters and then pass a value via Personalization ?
    Please help !
    Thanks
    Shankar

    Hi ,
I found similiar solution on another forum as below.
    http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/apps-traction-blog/how-to-create-a-zoom-using-oracle-form-personalization-12081
This works fine for the Purchasing form and allows me to zoom to the Supplier form.
But in my case, I want to zoom from the Supplier Form to my CUSTOM form. I replicated the exact steps as per the link.
However, it does NOT work as expected. It gets up to the ENTER QUERY mode in my CUSTOM form and remains in Enter Query mode. If I manually then Press key F11 to execute the query it brings back all records.
Do I need to do anything special in my CUSTOM form to make it behave in a similiar way to the Supplier Form ?
    Thanks
    Shanky

  • Calling a Standard Form (With the data retreived) from a custom form

    Hi All,
We have a requirement to call a standard form (form function : QP_QPXPRLMS) from a custom form on a button click.
we have passed Modifier List header id as parameter..
      FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE(FUNCTION_NAME=>'QP_QPXPRMLS',
               OPEN_FLAG=>'Y',
               SESSION_FLAG => 'Y',
OTHER_PARAMS=>'LIST_HEADER_ID_QF = '||:TEST_BLK.MODIFIER_HEADER_ID);     Then, the form opens fine but as in Entry mode.. we want the data to be queried automatically for the passed Header Id.
I have seen multiple posts on the similar requirement, and followed all the suggestions possible but didnt work.
    1. Is there anything i am missing here. please suggest.
    2. How would we know what are the mandatory parameters to be passed to open another standard form (is there any doc to check that)
Also, we are unable to open QPXPRLMS.fmb as it is huge and form is getting hanged, any inputs how to pen that?
    Thanks,
    Pavan

    pass parameter using this syntax:
    fnd_function.execute(FUNCTION_NAME=>'DEM_DEMXXEOR',
                                  OPEN_FLAG=>'Y',
                                 SESSION_FLAG=>'Y',
                                 OTHER_PARAMS=>'ORDER_ID="'||param_to_pass1||
                                   '" CUSTOMER_NAME="'||param_to_pass2||'"');
-- all the extra single and double quotes account for
-- any spaces that might be in the passed values

  • Link Of a Standard Form to a Custom  Form --- Urgent !!

We are in apps version 11.5.10.2. The Client has custom payslip form suited to their requirement. Now they want a little enhancement feature in the Custom Form.
The custom pay slip form can be queried by employee number. From then you can get the appropriate payperiod where you can navigate to any of the pay periods and view the payslip for that period.
Now they want to add a button to the custom form so that on the click of the button the element entries form for the respective pay period is opened. Now we have added a button and gave the reference to the standard form. We do not know exactly how to reference the exact period entries and for the same employee number. Currently it is poping a find window asking the employee number.
Form gurus...please throw ur light on this ...awaiting ur replies and suggestions.

do they want to see the element entry form (so Read Only), or do they want to kick off transactions into that element entry form?
When Read Only, you can use also the Element History folder, or a custom subform, based on the element entries view.
If not, you have to rework your original custom form, so that she is TaskFlow compatible, and then inheritance should take place by itself.

  • Errors when generating a adobe form in report

    Hello,
I have a problem with the solution of the errors to generate an adobe form. I put in a situation:
    - I need to create a form with several dinamic tables, each below the previous. For each dinamic table, apart from the header row (column titles) was necessary to create a table title above the header. Furthermore, this title should remain with the table, for example, if the header row and first row of the table is not entering the page, jump to the next page (but so must the title of the table next to them)
My version of LCD is version 9.0.1.0 and adobe reader is 10.0
One possible solution is proposed in this link (put text above the table with the title and check "Keep with Next "):
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/849603?tstart=0
This solution works correctly in the Preview in Adobe Live Cycle Designer, but when I run the form with a report generates an error file "error.pdf" Does anyone know who is that? The lines of code in which failure is just where the title of the table causes "Keep with Next ". In the Adobe forum, I have commented that the utility began to be usable in version 8.2 of ADS, we believe we have the 8.0 but not sure.

    Hello,
I found a possible cause of my failures. Has anyone needed to change the default version of PDF generated by ADS (Adobe Document Services)?
    "Changing the Default PDF Version"
                     http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm
My forms always generated pdf 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x), so they are generating so many errors. Also when I use the preview of the SFP transaction form, the need for PDF version is "1.7, Adobe Extension Level 3 (Acrobat 9.x)"or "1.7, Adobe Extension Level 5 (Acrobat 9.x) " (changing Form Properties -> Defaults -> Version of destination)
How do you get out this version from the ADS? What you need to change?
    Greeting and thanks

  • How to close a custom form from CUSTOM.pll

    Dear Friends,
We need your help on the following issue related to Oracle Apps Forms.
We have a requirement to show a popup message (message should remain open and user should be able to continue working in the order entry form. User use this message as a reference while entering order details) when user enters a customer name or number in the order entry form . This is similar to the Stock Availability form which gets opened automatically when control enters into Order Entry Lines form, where the stock availability form remains open while entering line details.
To fullfil the requirement, we have designed a custom form with a single text field in which the message text (some customer information) will be shown.
We are using custom.pll to call this custom form (thru FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE) when the control leaves customer number field. User could leave this custom form open and continue with entering order details. Till this point we could achieve what we want. i.e. we could show the popup message in the custom form after user enters a customer number.
The problem is, after the custom form is opened, when we enter a new order for different customer, we need to close the custom form (which is opened for the previous customer) if the customer is not qualified.
we could not achieve this. We tried using CLOSE_FORM, CLOSE_WINDOW, but did not help.
Any body have any suggestions on achieving this... Basically, we need your help to know how we can close the custom form from CUSTOM.pll.
    Thanks,
    Uma

I thing you haven't any (supported) option to close a form via custom.pll.
For a long time, we have search a solution for the same problem without any result.

  • Enabling eRecord for standard WIPMOVE in the custom form using wip interfac

    Hi,
Anyone know how to trigger the eRecord for the standard WIPMOVE transaction in the custom form using WIP Interface (wip_move_txn_interface & wip_movproc_pub.processinterface).
I have done all the necessary setting and eRecords is getting generated in the standard out of box form. But when i call the same WIPMOVE transaction through a custom form using WIP Interface it is not generating eRecord.
As suggested by cookbook I tried EDR_ERES_EVENT_PUB.RAISE_ERES_EVENT, ERES.PERFORM_TRANSACTION, nothing is working out.
    Any suggestion ?
    Thanks,

  • Export Option in Custom Form

    Dear Members,
I have developed a custom form in Oracle Applications using Template.fmb.
I am using the above custom form successfully in oracle applications for all purposes like data entry querying etc.
But when Iam trying to export the data from the form, I dont have the export option enabled in my custom form.
Can any one please let me know how to enable this export option in my custom form.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Arun Reddy.

  • PasswordSynch in Custom Form

We are using passwordSynch at our site and I want to use the date of last synchronization for a particular user in a custom form.
I would like to know how to do that. So can someone point me to documentation, code or contribution as to how this can be done.

    Hi,
We have single node EBS-R12.0.6,DB-10.2.0.3 & OS-AIX 5.3.7.In custom developed form, .fmx path is showing as $FND_TOP/forms/US (Help>About Oracle Applications). In this path, there is no such .fmx file. Where as the .fmx file exists in custom top $YY_TOP/forms/US. How to correct this entry?

I have seen this behavior before, and I could not find any explanation to it. You may log a SR and ask Oracle support for an explanation.
    Thanks,
