Generate Prime Interface Availability and Utilization Report for unified APs

Hi,
I´m trying to generate interface availability and interface utilization report for unified APs on Prime Infrastructure 2.0, but it doesn´t display any information. I have created device health and interface health templates under desing/Monitor configuration/My templates and deployed under Deploy/Monitoring deployment, but it still don´t show any information,

I face the some issue with you, I just run "Report/Report Launch Pad/Deivce/Interface Utilization"
and then I create a report for interface utilization.
But it display nothing when the report run finished.
I ask some guys in this forum, they said maybe it's a PI2.1 bug.

Hello
I want to create an interface utilization report for a specific port group in PI, but can't see how to do that in the report setting. You only seem to be able to select a specific device or site rather than port group. Is it possible? Also, is it possible to put that on a dashlet?

Yes, I worked that out a little while ago, and can now see interface utilization by port group on the Performance > Network Interface page. I do have another question however (well two)....
I wanted to add graph over time for the utilization to the detail dashboard, but nothing shows up, even though I see the utilization in the network interface page, so I'm sure the monitoring is deployed. Why is the data missing from the graphs?
Also, I wanted to see interface packets per second graphs, but see that is not part of any default template, so I created a customer SNMP template from the IF-MIB to do this, but I can only deploy that against sites/devices or a list of interfaces, and not port groups. Why can't I deploy a customer SNMP template against a port group?

How do we create a site utilization report for a SharePoint 2007 site. I want to include the following conditions in the report
a) The list of users who are accessing the site
b) The list of users who have not accessed the site ( Can we do some filtration based on some conditions )
c) When was the last date the user has accessed the site

Sorry for delay in reply. I don't think this can be possible from front end without involving SQL dbo users table. If you found any other alternate please share here.
You can get site collection / sub site user details via

Performance by system and utilization reports are blank after upgrading SCOM 2012 SP1 to SCOM 2012 R2

We are getting blank Performance reports after upgrading to SCOM 2012 R2. Can anyone provide fix for this issue?

How to install the EUL5 Business Area and seeded reports for Ora Apps 11i

We have to install the EUL5 Business Area and seeded reports for Ora Apps 11i.
I think there are scripts which need to be executed to create the BA and the Disco seeded reports. I am kind of confused about the whole think. Any pointers as to where to look foe the scripts would be really appreciated.

I've never worked with Access as a database, before. But, if this were SQL (and it might work), then, yes, a LEFT OUTER JOIN would do the trick.
SELECT ta.Lastname, ta.Firstname, ta.EmpID, ta.MgrEmpID, ta.Email, ta.Location
FROM TableA ta LEFT OUTER JOIN TableA tb ON tb.MgrEmpID = ta.EmpID
ORDER BY ta.Lastname, ta.Firstname, tb.Lastname, tb.FIrstname

What is your OS? You can use SAPCCMSR.exe to monitoring IT Reporting Java system on Solman.
Go to solman rz21 create a csmreg user. and configuration fil for agent. copy configuration fil on usr/sap/ccms/..
Go to comman line cd ../user/sap/xxx/sys/exe/.../ wite SAPCCMSR.00 -R pf=< ...../sys/profile/instans profile> .
You can se agent on rz10 and use this connaction on rz20 to monitoring and IT Reporting Java system on Solman.

Interface VLAN Bandwidth Utilization Reporting

I am currently evaluating a few products for Network Management and Monitoring. The question i have is, how is % utilization calculated for a virtual interface? Some tools have reported that one of our interface vlans is at 320% utilization. Obviously, this is not accurate. If anyone can give me advice on how to accurately report interface utilization percentage on a virtual interface, I would appreciate it.

No, changing the vlan speed will not influence the physical interface's speed.

Server Utilization report (for processor) for business hour is incorrect

We are using SCOM 2012 SP1 UR3 in our environment.
Recently got a query from one of the team that the processor utilization report is incorrect for business hours.
First I pulled a SCOM report (Performance by Utilization) for business hours say 1st Feb to 15th Feb processor.
Then I pulled a Raw report from SQL DW targetting % Processor time , exported it to excel & filtered it for the same duration which gave an average value of 86% for processor.
Finally, also pulled the same data from default report (Operating System Performance) under Windows Server 2008 Operating System which also gave me an average value of 86%.
To summarize Performance by Utilization does not calculate the accurate business hours & needs to be corrected.

XMLExportFormat and Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0

I found this example code on the Crystal Reports for Eclipse wiki but can't find XMLExportFormat(s) classes in any jar. XMLExportFormatOptions is still referenced in javadoc even if it is useless as it needs the above mentioned classes.
I really need to export to default XML (as we used to do it in Crystal "save as..." menu) because those files are post-processed. Any hint ? Where can I find those classes ?
1. Create a new XMLExportFormatOptions object.

Anyway, I've never used Crystal till now and I'm totally lost in all those libraries. I found examples but on those example pages there are never links to libraries neither references to versions. So I just downloaded Crystal Report for Eclipse 2.0 but the examples didn't compile because classes in these examples don't exist. (!?) Please, don't tell me about "you can do that or you can not do that with version X or version Y" but give me a hint on what I need to run these examples and where to find it, or simply how I can output a report to xml.

Can I use Prime to create a WLAN report for only one controller?

I have multiple controllers all configured with the same WLAN/SSID, like most people probably do.
I am trying to get a report on one WLAN/SSID from only one controller. I don't want a report for the WLAN/SSID that contains information from all controllers - just one controller.
Has anyone ever figured out how to do that? Am I missing something?

We're close to that, anyway. I have a guest WLAN configured on each controller, and I want to see how metrics on the guest SSID, but would like it broken out per controller.
The guest network client count almost equals our production client count, and all that traffic is getting tunneled across the backbone. I want to explore local connectivity options - possibly dumping the guest WLAN traffic out at the controller instead of it traversing the corporate backbone.
Can't seem to figure out how to get a report to show that - seems like it's "all or nothing"...

When we talk about Oracle9i, we often mean the database version 9i.
Apparently you want to use Forms and Reports 9i, which included in the obsolete (and very unhappy) Application Server 9i. ... Or the also obsolete Application Server 10g Release 1 (aka App Server 9.0.4.
You are encouraged to look at Forms and Reports 10g (part of the improved Application Server 10g) which does connect to Oracle Database 9i as well as Oracle Database 10g. Look for App Server 10g Release 2, version 10.1.2.0.2 and 10.1.2.2)

Unable to save reports to enterprise from Crystal Reports 2013 and Crystal Reports for Enterprise

Dear Expert,
when we tried to save report to enterprise, error happened:
"Failed to find a Report Application Server."
We closed BO server firewall.
We could check report from PC by browser.
But when we save report from CR 2013, then error happened.
Then we install CR enterprise and save report is ok from same PC.
We launch latest patches too.
Anyone see this before? Please kindly help~

April, since you have CR4E, you also have BI and thus free phone support included. My suggestion would be to create a phone incident and work with an SAP engineer on the issue. Only saying because it looks like you're somewhat anxious to get this going(?).
