Can anyone clearly explain me to generate the IDoc from ME22n, if there would be any changes in the orders I need to generate the idoc.
Please guide me to generate the Idoc using ORDRSP with ORDRSP05.

Hi,
You can generate an IDOC from invoice cancellation.Define a new "Z" output type for this cancellation billing document type and select the medium as 5(EDI).Check with your ABAPer for this.

Stop generating the IDOC, soap-xi-idoc

Dear SDN,
I have a interface SOAP(HTTP) -> XI -> R/3.
In this interface, 3rd party sending 4 fields and are getting updated in R/3.
Now, I need to change in this interface.
There are 4 fields in sender side and one field is like (PersonNumber)primary field. while updating this fields, I have to check whather the primary field is exist in R/3 then only update remaining fields else do not update the record/IDOC in R/3.
And we are using XSLT mapping.
The intension of the chage in interface is when the PersonNumber doesnot exist then do not generate the IDOC. whenever the PersonNumber is not there the system is generating the IDOC details with status 51.
So I need to stop generating IDOC when the PersonNumber is not there in R/3 system .
In this scenario, how can I procede further.
Please need your help and help me.

Hi,
In XI you can stop an interface (without generating error) only in receiver determination.
In your case you can use receiver determination condition which checks if PersonNumber is coming blank etc. If blank then choose a non existing receiver and choose the option "Terminate Message Processing without any error"
In case if you have any complaex condition then you will have to go for enhanced receiver determination.

Generating the IDocs for some particular segments only......

I have activates the change Pointers for generating the IDocs whenever the master dtaa is changed.
Is there any technique so that I can recive the IDocs containing only those segment's data which is relevant for me.

The question I have asked is not related to Inbound I Docs processing.
Actually I am sending the IDocs to Non-SAP system whenever any change is made to the master data, using the Change Pointers.
Now, the situation is that the file that is getting generated contains the data corresponding to many segments. So, is it possible to restrict the segments/fields for which the data is generated.

Problem in generating an IDOC from Output type

Hi Experts,
I am trying to generate an IDOC of basic type "OILSHI01" using the custom output type. in my scenario the output type gets issued , but IDOC does not get generated , i have checked the configuration in NACE transaction .
Can you please help me understand what can be other reason why this IDOC does not get generated?

Hello,
Did you try to debug the idoc generation program & where it fails to put together the internal data into IDoc?
That should help you identify problem.
If configuration settings is correct ,port settings are correct & partner profiles are correctly mapped for necessary Idoc creation,it should work.

Generating the JSP from the Servlet source file

Hi,
Does anyone out there know if there is any utility/class/program which will generate a JSP from the Servlet Source file (.java file) or indeed from the compiled Servlet file (.class file)
If its possible to decompile a .class file into a .java file, surely it must be possible to convert the .java souce file into the .jsp file that created it.
any comments would be appreciated

changing its contents, and then generate the JSP that would have created the new Servlet source file.

Generating the flatfiles from server getting error

source file type is   .csv. I am using executeprocess task to download the source file..its thrown error by the executeprocesstassk and also through command prompt. all arguments are sitting properly. I checked each and every arguments.
with the same executables i can downloaded few of the flat files.
But for this only I am facing an issue.actually How i am getting an issue is.
for eg flat file having 5 headers. like procid,procname,proccast,procsale,updateddate.
while running the task/from cmd prompt it 'll work fine for procid,procname,proccast. i mean to say getting data. but not getting rest of the 2 fields.
output: procid,procname,proccast,procsale,updateddate      only hearders without data.
for some times it's throws an error below if i'll take few of the fields like procid,procname,proccast,procsale.
Error: I cant seem to download the file, please check the filename and URL. Web
Exception Error:
System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Ser
ver Error.
   at System.Net.WebClient.File(Uri address, String fileName)
   at System.Net.WebClient.File(String address, String fileName)
   at Script.Program.Main(String[] args)
but when i checked individually all fields are having data & excution is success.

EDI - 753Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions transactions- what SAP ECC6 EDI output type, msg type, msg code, basis idoc is best practice to generate the idoc?

One of our Trading Partner wishes to implement the 753 Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions. Can anyone give me best practice answer the following Questions? We are on SAP ECC6 R3
What Application? i.e. V2, V7?
What output condition to use? i..e. LALE, LAT2, SEDI????
What Message type? i.e SHPADV?
What Basic Idoc Type? i.e SHPMNT05?
What Message Code? i.e. SHPM?
What Process Code? i.e. SHPM??
What Function Module? i.e. IDOC_OUTPUT_SHPMNT??
Does the SAP Transpotation Module have to be configured for this to be implemented?

While I did not get any responses from my question, yes, I was able to determine what needed to be configured. I hope the below will help you: This is for SAP ECC6
The output application for the 753 Routing Request is "V7"
The output type is "SEDI"
Transmission medium is "6"
The Basic Idoc type is "Shipmnt05"
when setting up your Partner Profile (WE20) add:Message Partner Role "SP" with Message type "SHPADV', Message coed "753", Basic Type "SHPMNT05", Message Control add Application "V7", Message type "SEDI", Process Code "SHPM".

I have not configured the Inbound 754. For now the inbound 754 Routing Instructions will be emailed to our traffic department.

How to generating the template from apex ?

I have created a quick application that contains names of employees and thier skillset. I am exploring the possibilities of generating a template containing the skills of the individual selected.
In other words, if I have a resume template of "Oracle apps" and I click the individual , His all skills should get amended in this template and resume should be generated automatically.
Any ideas how to accomplish the same?
Is there any similar application out there that generates templates so that I can extract the idea or build on similar lines.
Any pointers would be a great help.

First of all, thanks for your input. I was unable to respond to you earlier due to other presssing issues and travel..
I was able to use the information you provided on something else that I have been working. So in a way, the information was helpful.
However in my oringinal query, actually I am looking to develop apps with employees name and their skillsets. Then I will also standard resume templates built in with no names.
In next step, if users goes in and wants to select individuals with " RAC" and "APPS" skills, all those individuals resume should be automatically prepared from the template. ( the names would get appended in template and each individuals skills would be printed from skills table in PDF format.)
So partly your response has answered question. The first part of selecting individuals and then getting their information appended in templates is somthing I am seeking information on.
Any ideas how to go about it?

Not able to generate the spool from transaction cv02n .Kindly help,urgent..

I have a problem in transaction CV02N. Actually i am an ABAPER, but i need some help of PP Guys.
The requirement is as follows:-
The client says that they have uploaded a '.PS' file into the transaction cv02n.Here in the first screen they give doc, doc type,doc part, doc version. when clicked on enter it take us to second screen , where they enter the '.PS' file path under 'originals' , in the tab 'document data'. Later they goto transaction CO01 and release an order at the operation level and save it.
Then it generates a spool. Now if we goto SP01 and check the spool with the number generated during saving CO01. We will be getting the scripts and the '.PS' file separately in a different spool in the production system in 4.6. But in my new upgraded system(6.0), i am not able to view the '.PS' file in the output spool.It seems to me that, it is not getting generated. Pls suggest me, as it is a very urgent issue. Need to close it by today at 1.00pm.

dear friend,
there would be several reasons for that.
first, check out your Output Device (your user in SU01) - goto to tab Defaults and look at Spool Control.
did you tick the 'output immediately' checkbox?
Fix it if nessesary. Just in case run SPAD to check out your device.
second, check out the 'output' config for Document Management (because you use t-code CV02N).
also make sure that relevant output condition exists.
third, ask someone to do the same - another user with another output device. does he/she have the same problem?
and the last, try to find out the functional guy or documentation.
also ask your basis guy regarding the lost transports or any other issues...

FI Spend Data for SRM, Has any one Generated the DataSource from SPL?

Hello Friends: I am planning to activate the standard BI Content forSpend Analysis. Specifically the infoCube: 0SR_FICO1 and the DSO 0SR_FIDS1.The online documentation recommends creating a Special Purpose Ledger in the source system and supplies a sugessted extract strucure.
My question is, has anyone created a Special Purpose Lledger using this extract structure to genrate the DataSource in the SAP source system?
If you have, do you have any items or topics you encountered that you could share with me?
