You do not need that channel. Since you already have created a file channel (i hope you have). You can delete all the Generated*_Channel. They will be generated automatically while you are importing a business system afresh.

  • Error while Activating all the objects?

    Hi Ravi,
    two suggestions:
    1) Delete and import new without automatic generating (a-d)
    2) Fill in dummy values in a-d; then activate change list, then delete a-d
    Regards Mario

    Hi,
    The follwing are the standard adapter created:
    <i>a. GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP
    b. GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDOC
    c. GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC
    d. GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI</i>
    If you are not using the above adapters and have not updated them with allt he paramters. You should delete them and then change the activating list.

  • Unable to find associated SLD element

    Hello,
    We are currently setting up our PI 7.1 evaluation system. When we assign a business system (ECC6.0) from the SLD in the Integration Builder and tick "Create communication channels automatically" we receive the following error message:
    Could not create communication channel: Unable to find associated SLD element for specified class (source element: SAP_BusinessSystem, [CreationClassName, SAP_BusinessSystem, string, Name, test, string], target element class: SAP_HTTPServicePort)
    In the IB the following communication channels are however created successfully:
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDoc
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI
    - GeneratedReceiverChannel_WS_Local
    - GeneratedSenderChannel_WS
    Any idea what this error message means and how to correct it?

    Thanks for the reponses.
    Abhishek,
    I've been through the forum posts and they all refer to issues with the Adapter Framework or Integration Directory. I have worked through them though and none of the resolutions help with my issue.
    Divya,
    Regarding note 1117249; yes I saw this can be an issue from previous posts on SDN so have confirmed the PI components are all present in the SLD, as shown below, and registered against the same domain:
    - Adapter Engine on (SID)
    - Domain (host)
    - Integration Directory on (SID)
    - Integration Repository on (SID)
    - Integration Server on (host)
    - RWB on (SID).(host)
    Regarding note 764176; I have checked the RWB and all expected components are present and green (except web service security, which is amber):
    - Integration Server
    -- Integration Engine (SID)
    -- Business Process Engine (SID)
    -- Mapping Runtime (SID)
    -- Adapter Engine (SID)
    Ran the Cache Connectivity Test from RWB and it reported everything green.
    Also in CIM instances under XI Integration Server the following associations are present:
    - XI Contained Integration Server - associated with XI Domain 'Domain (host)'
    - XI Integration Server Logical Identity - associated with Business System 'INTEGRATION_SERVER_(SID)'
    - XI Sub-System viewed Application System - associated with BC System '(SID) on (host)'
    In Technical Landscape under Technical System Type PI the 'Application System' column is populated with '(SID) on (host)' for all entries except for the entry of type XI Domain.
    NB. I have deliberate obscured host and SID with (host) and (SID) respectively.
    The above entries all look correct to me and J2EE was restarted very recently so have not removed the entries as described in note 764176...
    Perhaps I could try to create the communication channel manually? Any idea which one uses the "SAP_HTTPServicePort" class?

    Hi,
    You need to enter  SAP relesae version in IDOC Communication Channel
    GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI:
    u are missing the Service number...
    GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC:
    No User logon details maintained.
    GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP: No Http Path details maintained...

  • FCC  Recordset structure question.

    Hi,
    I have completed the config for scenarion File>XI>IDOC(R/3)
    After activating the File comm channel, the message coming out of XI (in sxmb_moni) has the following error
    'Parsing an empty source. Root element expected'
    I want to know:
    1> Does the Recordset-structure field names (defined in .fieldNames) need to match exactly with the Data_type structure defined in IR. Currently my Data_type in IR does not have a key field, which I have introduced in the FCC keyField parameter.
    2>I have generated all my ID config by importing 'Integration Scenario' from IR and this has resulted in Automatic Creation of HTTP, RFC, IDOC,XI Receiver channels. ( GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP, GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC, GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDOC, GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI ). Do I require all of these to be active?
    Thanks and Regards
    Shirin

    HI
    FCC Paremeters:
    nameA.fieldSeparator =~
    nameA.endSeparator ='nl'
    nameA.fieldNames =text1,text2,text3,text4
    nameA.processFieldNames fromConfiguration
    nameA.lastFieldsOptional Yes
    nameA.missingLastFields Add
    nameA.additionalLastFields ignore
    ignoreRecordsetName: true
    if endSeparator = newline, then
    nameA.endSeparator = 'nl'
    nameA.fieldSeparator =~
    nameA.fieldNames = field1,field2,field3,field4
    if endSeparator = #, then
    nameA.endSeparator = #
    nameA.fieldSeparator =~
    nameA.fieldNames = field1,field2,field3,field4
    1.     NameA.missingLastfields
    If the inbound structure has less fields than specified in the configuration then the XML outbound structure is created as follows:
    ○ ignore
    Outbound structure only contains the fields in the inbound structure
    ○ add
    Outbound structure contains all fields from the configuration; the fields missing in the inbound structure are empty.
    ○ error
    Conversion is terminated due to the incomplete inbound structure. An error message is displayed.
    2. NameA.additionalLastFields
    If the inbound structure has more fields than specified in the configuration then the XML outbound structure is created as follows:
    ○ ignore
    Outbound structure only contains the fields in the inbound structure
    ○ error
    Conversion is terminated due to the incomplete inbound structure. An error message is displayed.
    The default value is ignore. If you have defined the NameA.fieldFixedLengths parameter, the default value is error.
    If you have defined the NameA.fieldFixedLengths parameter and do not set either of the parameters described above, apart from the default values, the conversion routine works the same as described under Handling Structure Deviations.
    Only once you set one of the two parameters will the other parameter be evaluated with its default value.
    To ensure a well-defined runtime behavior for variable inbound structures, we recommend that you always set both parameters.
    cheers

  • Unable to create communication channel - RFC

    Hi ,
    I am trying to create communication channel automatically , when adding business systems from SLD to integration repository. I get the following error only for RFC
    all other communication channel gets generated correctly.. Is there any thing i am missing.
    HTTP communication channel GeneratedReceiverChannel_HTTP created
    IDoc communication channel GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDoc created
    XI communication channel GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI created
    Unable to create communication channel: Unable to generate the communication channel (NWR_107, GeneratedReceiverChannel_RFC): com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.ClientServerException
    Thanks,
    Ganesh Ram

    Please run transaction SLDCHECK. The connection to SLD might not be working properly.
    Plus, in the business system you created, check if client number and all other parameters associated with SAP systems are valid.
