Generates blank text message when retrieving answe...

I am wondering if anyone will be able to help me solve this problem :
Everytime i retrieve a voicemail message, my N95 generates a blank text message. It is very irritating to delete blank messages after each retrieval. Is there any solution for this? This is my second N95; My previous one had the same problem.

Contact your carrier. That often indicates that Visual Voice Mail is not provisioned correctly on the carrier side.

All I see is this:

What phone?
You would need to disable data on the phone itself. You wouldn't do it online on your account.
Note also that text messages do not count toward your data allowance.

You cannot, unless you are trying to use the Personal Hotspot on the phone for an internet connection on the MacBook. The devices do not connect via Bluetooth for anything else.

Shut down and restart the app...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the offending app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the app

Blank Text Messages from other iPhone users. Possibly when iMessage is on.

I have had this problem a couple different times. I know for a fact that this has only happened to me when other iPhone users send me a text message. I do have iMessage on (not currently because I am thinking this could be the problem) and it seems as if I turn it on for a couple of seconds their message comes through. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

What I learned from Apple Support, who is just as perplexed as I am, is that when I deactivated this phone, it actually didn't deactivate in their system right away. It took several DAYS for it to appear to deactivate in their system. I think it was a Monday that I deactivated it and it showed to Apple that I deactivated it on following Friday. I was then told that it could actually take more time (24 hours) for Apple users to get the "undeliverable" message on their iPhones.
We still don't know if this has worked (Saturday) because still no iPhone text messages. I will keep you posted.

IPhone 4: Blank text messages, dropped calls, slow Internet connection

I thought I was going to be so happy with the iPhone 4 but I am very dissatisfied... Every time I am on the phone the call drops, called AT&T and they can't help and transfer me to apple, still no answer from both parties. I could not believe that they said to use DUCKTAPE.... Are they being serious??????
Also, when I send a text message, most of the time the person receiving the text says it is blank. Has anyone else experiencing this problem?

I just bought a couple of iphone 4's last week (one for my wife and one for me). After two days of using it, my wife commented that her sister (who lives in Los Angeles, we live in Seattle) was receiving "some" messages blank. Originally I thought it was related to my sister in law being on a T-mobile network or just because she was using a different phone.
However, last night, a friend mentioned exactly the same thing. Out of three text messages I've sent, two came in blank, no text.
My theory: We both text in English and Spanish, therefore we have two keyboards loaded on the iphone, so we can switch easily. I have a feeling the special characters in the spanish language is what deters people with other phones/different network to receive them properly. I will switch my keyboard back to English only and post my results.

When a Mac is "registered" for iMessages account with an Apple ID the Serial Number of the Mac is used to create an Auth Token as it is called for the Messages app that allows that Mac to work.
I would guess a similar process of linking the Number of the iPhone to a Hardware fact about the device is also in place.
I would contact Apple Support and check with them. (you might need to speak to a Level 2 person as Level 1 people are script led and try to fit everything into Software or Hardware categories where as sorting and Apple ID (which the Number is in this case) is normally Free).

Blank Text Message From Different Contact

I keep getting a seperate blank text from a contact when a different contact sends me a text.

Whenever you reopen it, the blank conversations saved in your scroll pop open at the top.

Since the last update for my Iphone 4s i dont get text messages when connected to wifi. my wife is getting them. Imessage is switched off on both phones.

since the 6. version update. of my Iphone 4s My wife was getting my text messages. I found the problem was caused by Imessage when connected to Wifi. I deactivated Imessage on both phones to solve the problem. I now have updated my Iphone to 6.1.1 and i dont get text messages anymore. I have Imessage deactivated on my phone but my wife is getting my text messages again. my wifes phone was not updated to 6.1.1 because the last update lost all her contacts from her phone and we had to but them back in one by one from the outlook list. Her contact are listed in outlook on a seperate list to mine but we can only get my contacts download to her phone. We use the same laptop to sysc phones.
My Iphone does not download photos to My Pictures anymore. I have to copy them across to a folder. I cant find where it backs them up to.
I have lost all confidence in Apple now as i was forced to update to 6.1.1 because of 3G reception issues and not reciving calls and now back to spending several hours trying to fix my phone to recieve a basic text message.

Are you and your wife sharing apple id?
If you are that is the reason why she is seeing your imessage.
On both phone go to settings - message - send&receive - make sure the cell is the default.
You will have to uncheck or remove the apple id.

It could be that your signal dropped to GSM which is why it sent as a normal text. You need wi-fi, 3G or HSPDA to send as an iMessage. As does the receiver

Can Media Encoder send me a text message when encoding is finished?

I seem to remember there being a plug-in for after effects that allows it to send a text message to any phone number when all jobs in the render queue are finished (although its been a long time since, and I may be making that up). Does anyone know of a similar plug-in for Media Encoder? Or perhaps a way to do it natively?
If not, feature requests here I come (except when I look under feature requests, I only see Adobe Media Server... is this what I should choose for Media Encoder?).
Oh, and I'm talking CS6, Mac OSX 10.8.2

The only way I know to do this is with that tried and true method called the 'assistant editor'.

Why can't i receive iMessage as a text message when I am not connected to wifi?

My iphone currently does not have any data plans. I've noticed that when other iphone owner text me, and if I am not connected to a wifi, it doesn't come as text message and I must connect my phone to a wifi in order to receive what ever they sent. Which comes as an iMessage.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You have several choices:
1. Obtain a data plan for your iPhone, and do Settings > Messages > Send as SMS.
2. Use a cellular carrier that supports iMessage. A few (not many) do this.
