Generation of IBAN proposed numbers

Hi Friends,
Could you please let me know whether it is possible to generate IBAN proposed numbers for vendors and if so, please let me know which tcode or program I have to use to get that.
Thanks
Dwarak.

Hi,
I tried this in TIBAN table and it is not populating it automatically.
I read somewhere that there is a function module for suppressing the IBAN field proposal by the system which is IBAN_PROPOSAL_SUPPRESS.
If suppress option is not activated, then I believe it will show the proposed details once bank key and bank account number are maintained in vendor master. But when i checked in vendor master it is not proposing.
Please let me know how to get the proposed IBAN details. This I have to get it for multiple vendors and send to client for checking with the vendor.
Regards,
Dwarak.

  • Generation of Unique Transcation Numbers

I am working on a online transcation system there are about 100
    users,
when e user opens the data entry form he is given a transcation
number, this is same practice for all users, what is the best
strategy that i generate numbers (transcation number) that are
unuiqe and without any missings in the number
please provide me the idea for generating unique and unbroken
    numbers in an oltp system

I would advise against using a sequence if your application
design can not tolerate gaps in the number. If a transaction
fails and you've already executed "myseq.nextval" then the
number is lost. If you must not have any missing numbers, you'd
probably have to create a table to store the number. This may
introduce locking issues though if many users are frequently
    requesting a new number.

  • Reseting page number in Word RTF template for BI Publisher PDF generation

    Hi!
    Apex 4.0.2, Oracle 10.2.0.4, BIP 10.2
Bills are created based on Word RTF file with BI Publisher. Reszulting file is one big PDF file, which has many pages.
Word RTF template is grouped on BILLS.ID field with page break option. So one BILLS.ID may have one or many pages (according data).
How to create RTF template (for PDF BI Publisher generation) with reseting page numbers when grouping value change.
Page numbers are in footer in format
    curr_group_page/total_group_pages
    where:
curr_group_page is current page number in group (defined with BILLS.ID field),
total_group_pages is total page number of pages in group (defined with BILLS.ID field).
I need to reset numbering whenever BILLS.ID (group) change.
    Example:
    ID=1 (4 pages)
    1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4
    ID=2 (1 pages)
    1/1
    ID=3 (2 pages)
    1/2, 2/2
    ID=4 (3 pages)
    1/3, 2/3, 3/3
    etc.
How to achieve that kind of numbering?
    Any help appreciated.

Simple question.. Does your posting deal with an APEX issue or a BI Publisher issue? The posting you have deals with the RTF add-on for Word that builds report layouts for BI Publisher. I suggested in my response that you move it to a more relevant forum..
If you feel that me alerting you to the fact your are VIOLATING forum policy is an issue, please feel free to ask others their view.. (posting to a 3 year old closed thread, creating MULTIPLE threads for a single issue..) You do NOT seem to get the idea that posting this in the Bi Publisher support forum would probably get you a BETTER response than here.. Asking pl/sql questions here will also get people to refer your questions to the PL/Sql Support forum..
Also, here is a POSSIBLE answer from the BI Publisher Forum: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=594805
This Is The APEX SUPPORT forum, we deal with SUPPORT questions on APEX (Application Express)..

  • IBAN number not getting updated in ECC via IDOC CREMAS05

    Hi Experts
We have a business scenario where the vendor is created in MDM and the data is sent to PI from where the IDOC posts vendor master details  to relevant tables in ECC.
The IBAN information is provided in the IDoc in segment E1LFBKM-IBAN. However this IBAN datail is not getting updated in the Vendor master. All other bank data : Bank key, Account number, Bank Name, Country Key, Control Key are all getting updated except the IBAN number information.
I have searched a lot in all the forums but could not find a solution to this. I have checked and dont seem to miss any configuration.Another strange thing is normally when doing XK02 the system proposes an IBAN number if the field is not updated on the basis of Bank Key, Country Key and account number - this is also not happening in my case.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in Advance
    Varun

    HI,
regarding your missing IBAN proposal number, check SAPNET note 634191, maybe the proposed value is suppressed.
    Best regards, Christian

  • IBAN Maintenance in Vendor Master

I would like to have a solution to validate bank account number and IBAN while maintaining both these fields in vendor master record. Business scenario is that we should be able to enter bank account number with or without IBAN. But if both bank account number and IBAN are entered in vendor master, then an error is to be displayed if bank account number does not match with IBAN.
I am in United Arab Emirates (Country code AE) but SAP country verion for AE is not applied.
Edited by: Rajan Palakkal on Nov 29, 2011 6:59 AM

    Hi,
Yes, only if you set the indicator "Bank Data" under Further checks then that country-specific check of the bank details (bank
number, bank account number, bank control key) is carried out. The corresponding check routines are installed in the system and can be activated via this switch "only".
for correct generation of IBAN from bank details for UAE following information is necessary:
AE - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - United Arab Emirates
Key for the bank directory: 1
Bank account number - Length, Checking rule: 16, 2
Bank number length - Length, Checking rule: 3, 4
The IBAN is derived from the 3-digit bank number and the account number
(which may have up to 16 digits). A 3-digit bank number and a 16-digit
account number are generated from an IBAN.
    Refer note 1012293
If you want to set Bank key as 4 i..e externally, please check if the same routnie works by enabling the indicator as IBAN is derived from the 3-digit bank number and the account number and vice versa.
    Hope this helps.

  • IBAN on IT0009

    Hi all,
is possible the massive automatic generation of IBAN on IT 0009 (loading TIBAN table) . Th batch input on MP000900 is not possible.
    Best regards.
    Miki

    Hello Maurizio,
The SAP notes 491546 and 795683 specify all countries for which SAP provides
    automatic IBAN generation functionality.
The mass generation of IBAN: SAP Note 503396.
The validity of the note was extended. Please be informed that the content of the note is only a suggestion for your own modification. So the validity of the note is not realy important, as there is no SAP support for the code changes. The reason is that a mass generating of IBANs is not legal and can not be officialy provided by SAP, as there is no quarantee, that the generated IBANs are correct. There is always necessary to doublecheck the results to avoid payments to incorrect accounts.
Please check for the Swiss IBAN the following Note as well: 1019633
If you dont have the report RFIBANMD, please check the Note: 1047514
I hope I could help you with some guidance how extended the IBAN generation can be.
From the practical side it is always suggested to recheck the generated IBAN's.
    Wish you a nice day!
    Best regards,

  • My iTunes does not see the new ios 5 update on my ipod touch 3rd generation

hello i tried to seach for an update for ios 5 or 4.3 but my iTunes cant find it. It just sayes ur current version is 4.2.1

You just think you have a 3rd gen..
What some people don't know is that when Apple released Model MC086LL it was sold as a 8GB 3rd generation unit by some retailers. It really had the same guts as the 2nd generation model MB528LL with upgraded software. ALL 8GB "3rd generation" iPod Touch serial numbers pull up in the apple support system as a 2nd generation unit. 2nd generation units are not able to upgrade to ios5, therefore your last update will be 4.21.

  • PO Numbering

    Hi Sap guru,
Can we set the alphanumeric number range in PO?
My client wants PO number range should be internal and it should be as follows
    AGR450000 to AGR459999
    Please suggest
    Thanks in advance
    Anand

    Anand
    Hello Anand:
The internal generation of Purchase order numbers is not allowed with alphanumeric values, however you could assign the purchae order number with the user exit MM06E003. Keep in mind that it means that you should keep the control of the las purchase order number. If you want you could create your own range of nubers with transaction SNRO, however it means that you must include on your user exit code the control of the next nubmber.
    I hope it helps you

  • Need help using flash buttons

Can anyone help me with flash buttons? I am trying to build
my first website, and my five flash buttons (inside a 5 col. table)
for page navigation work fine in testing all 5 web pages with
mozilla firefox, and they look the same on the index page when
testing with IE-7. However when I begin navigating to other pages
in IE-7, the flash buttons disappear, and the 5 cols in the table
where each flash button was placed now are not equal sizes anymore
like they are on the index page. In my files area on the right, I
notice 3 out of the five buttons I created have about 15 to 20
"generations" shown there, with numbers 1 through 15 or even more
to qualify them tacked on to the end of the names. Where do these
come from, and why are 2 out of the five only have 1 "generation"
each? I never expected this, and I think it has something to do
with the problem, but maybe not. Please help me if you can!

If you want to use Flash for navigation, consider this -
    1. Some people don't have Flash installed - what do they do?
    2. Search engines don't parse Flash links - your site will
    not be spidered
    3. Screen assistive devices don't parse Flash links - what
    will those users
    do?
    4. DW cannot maintain links within a Flash movie, so if you
    move or rename
a linked file, your navigation will break - what will you do?
It's usually a very bad idea for these reasons...
Your problem is caused by navigating away from the previewed
    page. In
general, this is not a good thing to do, since root relative
    links will not
work as expected when you do that (locally).

  • Document Number Assignment.

    Hi Guru's
Am a newbee in this mySAP PLM area and have a question regarding Number Assignment.
I have a small scenario. Company "S" aquired companies A,B,C & D. All companies were following thier own ways of generating new part numbers. Now the task is implement SAP in all these companies and standardise the procedure of generating the part numbers AS PER THE GROUPS.
Meaning, files belonging to one particular group should start with particulat number. like,
    Assemblies -
    S10XXXXX
    Parts----
    S20XXXXX
    Piping assemblies-------S70XXXXX
    Harness Assemblies----S80XXXXX
    Library Parts----
    S90XXXXX
    Lables etc----
    S91XXXXX etc.
The same should be followed in all the companies like S, A,B,C & D.
How to configure this type of numbering system ? I guess I should use mixed numbering , am I right ? Once done in SM, how normally it will be rolled out in other plants ?
    Please suggest.
This may be a very basic question in DMS, but a clear answer for this will be really appriciated.
    Thanks,
    S.Achar.

    Hi Achar,
in case you want to use such kind of document number, you should customize value '3' or '4' in the field 'Number Assgmt' in transaction DC10 for your document type. This kind of number assignments will also check the logic in BADI DOCUMENT_NUMBER01. Further you would have to create your own number exit and replace the standard program 'MCDOKZNR' with this own individual number exit program.
Within your own number exit you can define your individual logic for the generation of your document numbers. For further information please see also the small blue info button at the upper right corner at the document type detail screen.
    Best regards,
    Christoph

  • Notebook won't start

I was working on my laptop, pavilion dv2618ca, on sunday, and it was functioning perfectly fine. Shut down went proper as well. Yet two days later, i tried to turn it on, and it wouldn't do a single thing, not even the boot up screen would pop up. It was as  if the laptop had no power, even though the power cable was hooked up. It didn't even show any signs of any failure on sunday. Any suggestions????

Hard reset. Remove the battery and disconnect power. Hold down the power button for 20-30 seconds....now attach power and try to power on. Do you get the blue light around the AC adapter jack on the laptop? I give the hard reset a 10% chance to work but still worth a try.
The sad new is that the dv2000 series laptops with AMD processors (including yours) has been a nightmare for their owners. There was a recall by HP and a class action lawsuit, but those are long ago closed. Yours is in the second generation of the model (numbers 2500 and higher) and was not technically subject to the recall or the class action, but everyone who works on laptops knows the second generation is almost as bad as the first and pretty much just as prone to failure. The laptop is now about 4 years old and you have gotten a pretty fair life out of it. There are sites on eBay and otherwise on the 'net that have developed pretty good techniques to repair them and competition has actually driven the price under $100. The issue is an nVidia video chip that does not keep itself attached to the circuitry of the motherboard because the application of heat over time causes the solder points to come loose. The solder can be reheated (reflowed) and the connection reset. If done carefully and properly the laptop is as good as new, but good as new is still potentially defective. The cooling system can be bolstered and the issue can be worked around, but at the end of the day you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Still for about $100 or less you can be pretty sure you will get another 6 mos to a year and maybe even 2 years out of the laptop and that is not too shabby.
If you can afford it, buy a new laptop. If interested in the fix post back and we can point you in the right direction.
