Genérer un rapport de test sous DAIDEM à partir d'une sequence Teststand

Bonjour,
Je souhaite mettre au point une séquence de test sous Teststand, mais l'éditeur de rapport de test de Teststand ne me convient pas.
Dans ma séquence je souhaite donc rajouter un custom step DIADEM qui me permettrais en fin de ma séquence de tests de paramétrer DIADEM pour creer un gabarit de rapport de test (logo, mise en page,...), d'exporter mes resultats acquient sous Teststand et de générer un rapport PDF via DIADEM.
J'aimerais que ce rapport PDF soit générer automatiquement à partir de l'exécution de ma séquence DIADEM.
Comment dois je faire?
Je ne connait pas quelle est la compatibilité entre Testsand et DIADEM (format des données d'enregistrement Teststand, formats des données accepté par DIADEM?).
Dois je transmettre mon rapport Teststand à un VI Labview qui parametra DIADEM et lui enverra sous format TDM?

It's not a problem.
Sorry it's not LabVIEW, I had another look to see if there was a TestStand / LabVIEW version unfortunately there was not.
Not really fimilar with DAIDEM but will try to help.
Not sure what the Demo.vbs is, I downloaded the example and could not find that in the example code. Looking in the SequenceFile I have found the Demo.vbs in the setup of the "Run Script" step. Looking at the ExecuteScript.c I would have expected a piece of code that executes some function when the Sequence runs and invoke the "Run Script" but this just appears to launch a CVI panel and expecting some user input.
It looks like this steptype doesn't link directly with DIADEM but maybe indirectly via some Visual Basic code. If this is the case then it is not a very good example as it is incomplete. There is no mention of visual basic required in the readme file or the website link that I initially supplied.
I'll try out the example later to day to try to understand it better.

j'utilise des sequences teststand (v3.0) qui génèrent des rapport très importants.
Cela donne des resultats pas lisibles, et dans le cas ou je choisit le format xml pour le rapport un message d'erreur de type out of memory venant de TestStand (rapport xml > 100 Mo).
--> comment générer des rapports indépendants correspondants à des sous séquences de ma séquence principale ?
l'idéal serait d'avoir le résultat global de la sous séquence dans la séquence principale (appelant la sous séquence) et un lien vers le rapport de sous séquence.
--> Peut on dépasser la limite de taille (qui semble être de 100 Mo) pour les rapports xml ?
--> comment simplifier la structure des données sauvegardées dans le fichier xml ?

Je crains que l'idée de l'utilisation de la DLL soit la meilleure pour utiliser du C++. Si vous n'obtenez pas de performance satisfaisantes par ce biais, je ne peux que vous guider vers des cartes d'aquisition NI.

PMU reset does not get rid of it sorry to say and logic board replacement does nothing to cure it. They all have this problem I believe, and it could very well be the battery that is the culprit, and a recall might be on the way for the batteries or a firmware update. Who knows at this point, this is an inherent reality of first gen Apple portables (products also), they are never bug free, if you buy a MBP now, you should know what you are getting into and try to deal with it as best as you can, if you don't have the "stugots" to deal with these issues and document them, wait for the 3rd and 4th gen, those are usually bug free, but end of life also.
Take it easy and don't worry, they will fix it soon, they just need documentation of the problem, half the battle has been won.

How to discard skipped test results in XML report generated from TestStand

Hello,
I'm generating XML report from TestStand. I have more than 100 test cases & user has the flexibility to select the test cases to execute or to skip.
Problem statement:
1. In Configure\report options there is filter expression to filter test results to be logged. However, this filter is disabled for XML report.
2. Is there a way to compress XML file using either encryption or any other methods?
I understand that there would be two methods ideally for my problem statement #1 above:
A. To have a workaround in reportgen_xml.seq to pragmatically log only executed test cases and discard skipped test results.
B. Modify stylesheet supplied by NI to discard skipped test results.
For problem statement #2 above:
I am able to encrypt the data before logging it to XML. But I don't know how to modify the stylesheet to decrypt the same using either public/ private encryption keys. Can anyone bring in more ideas here !!!
My preference would be to implement using #A above to reduce the XML file size which is ~4 MB will all test results (skipped + executed). If this is not possible my last option would be to implement using #B above
I would appreciate if someone can help me for my problem statement? I'm using TestStand 2010

I have another solution and that is to actual discard the result before you get to the report stage.
You can do this by use of the Override Callback SequenceFilePostResultList and if Skipped then discard the result from ResultList.

How to edit "Station ID" to "Test Bench ID" name in HTML Report (TestStand 4.2)...?

I have regular HTML report from TestStand 4.2; particularly i want to change the header from "Station ID" name to "Test Bench ID" name.

Here are just 3 options:
1- Probably the easiest and best option. Open this file: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components\Language\English\ModelStrings.ini. Search for RPT_HEADER_STATION_ID. Replace the Station ID in the quotes with Test Bench ID:. The ModelStrings.ini is a resource strings file that contains a bunch of basically "global values" that TS references.
2- If you don't want to change your resource strings then open this sequence file: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components\Models\TestStandModels\reportgen_html.seq. Open the sequence in there titled- AddReportHeader. Find the step named- Add Station ID. It should be a statement step. In the Expression replace ResStr("MODEL", "RPT_HEADER_STATION_ID") with "Test Bench ID:". This directly edits your process model and every sequence ran on the machine will see the change.
3- Add the Modify Report Header callback to your sequence file. In there you will have ot search the Parameters.ReportHeader string for Station ID: and replace it with Test Bench ID. This will not affect the process model.

and more over when I am testing my agent for connection my Application hangs and I have no choice but to close it forcefully and re-start.
I am giving host as my target server IP and Port as my target's port (Same as defined in DataServer' URL).

Adobe Reader sous IE8 - Hyperlien vers une page ne fonctionne pas

J'ai des PDF ouverts sous IE8 ( Acrobat Reader encaspsulé dans IE donc)
Ces derniers ont des liens hypertexte vers d'autres PDF sur des pages précises dans le document appelé.
Hors ces derniers s'ouvrent en début de document et non à la page demandée.
Sous Reader directement, tous fonctionne parfaitement
Et sous Internet Explorer 6, cela fonctionne également.
Si quelqu'un a une astuce pour que cela fonctionne également sous IE8

Rapport word : Comment avoir des axes d'une épaisseur différente...

dans un rapport word et à partir de couples de données je génére un graphique XY. Cela fonctionne sans problème.
Par contre sur le graphique de mon rapport (voir la PJ) je voudrais marquer le zéro des axes X/Y par un trait légérement plus épais que la grille.
Je ne vois aucun réglage à ce niveau et aucune solution simple me vient (dessiner les axes X et Y me semble très compliqué).
D'avance merci pour toutes informations.

Charger un sous-VI LabView dans une séquence TestStand d'après un fichier texte *.lvtf (Sequence File Translator)

J'utilise un fichier texte *.LVTF (semblable à celui présent dans les exemples TestStand) afin de lancer automatiquement mes séquences dans TestStand en le chargeant.
Cependant, je n'arrive pas à trouver la ligne de code pour appeler un VI LabVIEW.
Quelle est le "Step Type" que je dois entrer dans le fichier texte pour que TestStand l'exécute...
     Je rentre pour le moment :
     Multi,Action,E1:number=2,E2:number=3,S1:number=S1
     (nom, type, param1, param2, param3)
Je vous joins ci-après un impr. écran de l'éditeur de séquence que j'aimerais avoir.

Le nom du VI n'a à priori aucun effet sur le chargement de la séquence.
En fait, TestStand ne reconnait pas le StepType : c'est-à-dire ici "Action"... Lorsque j'essaie de charger le fichier *.lvtf via TestStand, j'ai un message d'erreur qui s'affiche (voir fichier joint).
J'ai pourtant rajouté une condition au sous-VI "TextCreateStep" où j'ai inséré le module "LVAdapterKeyName" mais cela ne change rien à mon problème !
Je t'ai mis les impressions d'écran ci-après.

Ce que vous stockez sur la clé USB est un simple fichier, sans information précise quand à sa lecture…

je cherche comment trouver le nombre de test qui ont été exécutés dans une séquence (je sais trouver le nombre de test d'une séquence par "GetNumElements(RunState.Sequence.Main )", mais pas l'index du test en cours.

The number of tests(steps) executed in a sequence is allways given by the value of RunState.PreviousStepIndex (zero-indexed). If this value is -1, than no steps where executed in the currently executing sequence.

Difference de comportement entre debug et release sous Teststand

J'ai realisé une sequence teststand que je lance à partir de cvi. Je travaillais en mode debug et jusque la tout va bien. Cependant quand je passe la sequence en mode release et que je l'execute depuis CVI, le comportement est différent (je commande un lecteur de code a barre qui ne fonctionne alors plus en release)? Pourquoi?
Chose etrange, si j'execute directement lasequence sous testand en release sa fonctionne? Ou est alors le souci?
