Generic bluetooth driver for Windows 8.1

Hi ,
When I install windows 8.1 theres is no Bluetooth driver installed in it. I have laptop with dell wireless 365 Bluetooth card. I am unable to get the driver from dell website for it. my laptop Dell Inspiron N4030.
I want to know isn't there any generic driver available in windows 8.1 for Bluetooth support as it provides many generic drivers upon installing.

Since Windows 8.1 was just released for a couple of weeks, we'd better to wait for some compatible drivers and update packages for your game from manufacturers.
We can try to install drivers applied to Windows 7 in compatible mode for test. If it doesn’t work, we have to wait for Dell’s update.

Bluetooth driver for Windows 7

I just upgraded my IdeaPad S10 from XP to Windows 7 Professional. The XP Broadcom Bluetooth driver on the Lenovo website does not work for Windows 7. Help? Does anyone know where I can find a Windows 7 driver for the Broadcom Bluetooth adapter on the Lenovo IdeaPad S10?

Did you Switch your wireless on ?
did you push on the Right Side of the S12 for example (you didnt say which machine you use
But on S10-2 & S10 machine they have a switch on the covercase too !

I just recently upgrade Win XP to Win 7 and how OS did not detect the Bluetooth hardware. I went to their support website and download the vista driver and how the problem remain the same. Do anyone know where can I get the driver for my Bluetooth?

Prior to migrating to Windows 7 from Windows XP did you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor?

Have you also installed the chipset drivers? Did you install the Windows Vista driver through compatibility mode? You may want to try the above methods as well as have Windows 7 search for the driver online.

Nokia 6300 Bluetooth driver for Windows 7

Hey Guys,
Since installing Windows 7 Professional, 32 bit, on my ASUS laptop, it won't let me connect to my Nokia 6300 via bluetooth anymore. It was fine with Vista. I've installed PC Suite - that still connects fine.
However when I go to connect via bluetooth through windows (so I can transfer songs through windows media player, which I have to do for some of them since which won't transfer through Nokia Music Manager), it says driver cannot be found. It then tries to find it to no avail.
I tried going here http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/nokia-6300/software but I don't know how to install the drivers. Where do I save them to? They're inf files and just open up with notepad.
I tried saving them to C:\Windows\inf but it didn't work. When I try to connect it just tries to find the driver manually and won't give me an option to point to that file, only the directory. But still doesn't pick it up and will say that there isn't the right driver.
Any help?

Those .inf files you are talking about are modem drivers only.
You install them if you don't have PC Suite or Ovi Suite installed and you still want to use your phone as a modem for your computer.
To me your problem sounds more like a bluetooth stack incompatibility in your PC.
You have an Asus, so I guess you are running on Toshiba bluetooth.
Try the latest bluetooth stack from here:

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion g6-1318ax Notebook and needing help with Bluetooth. Here is a link to fixing Bluetooth issues.
If that does not help try looking at the section in this document Labeled: Make sure that wireless communication is turned on. Sometimes just turning on and off the Bluetooth helps.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system. If an updated is needed this could cause this issue.

PS driver for Windows 7?

Well, people are moving to Windows 7, and so must I. However, my trusty (and ancient, by electronics standards) Minolta PageWorks/Pro 25 printer, with Adobe PS 3 (3010.106) SIMM, is now just a very large piece of metal and plastic on my desk. It is working perfectly well with OS X 10.6 and Win XP. Why should I have to shell out another $400 or whatever to replace a printer that is working perfectly?
Does anyone know of a free or for sale generic PS driver for Windows 7? Of course I would like something free, but if there's something to buy, I would happily do that. Any suggestions as to how to get a (networked) PS printer to work with W 7? (I do still have its PPD.) Thanks for any pointers.

There is no such beast as an Adobe Printer Driver for any version of Windows beyond WIndows NT4 and WIndows'98. The Adobe Printer Driver Installer simply associates a user-specified PPD (PostScript Printer Description) file for a particular printer model with the PSCRIPT5 driver that comes with the operating system for versions of Windows starting with Windows 2000. In most cases, it is not at all different than using the Add Printer wizard.
Note that the Adobe Printer Driver Installer does not work with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP and with no 64-bit version of Windows. (It is a 16-bit application and such applications won't even run on 64-bit Windows.)
Adobe has not plans to update that installer given that the original versions of Windows for which it was intended no longer are supported by Microsoft and similar functionality for PostScript printers is available through the Add Printer wizard (normally using the same PSCRIPT5 driver as a base used by the old Adobe installer) or through custom installers provided by individual printer manufacturers. Very, very few printer vendors provide truly unique PostScript drivers for their (typically) CloneScript printers; such drivers typically don't work properly with PostScript-centric applications such as Adobe Acrobat & Reader, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe's Creative Suite applications, QuarkXPress, CorelDraw, etc. Many vendors (including those using Adobe PostScript) use PSCRIPT5 as a base with their own PPD as well as proprietary driver plug-ins that provide some "product differentiation" to the driver (sometimes good, sometimes bad).

Bluetooth drivers for windows 7

Anyone know where I can find a 32 bit bluetooth driver for Windows 7 so I can play my itunes through my PC? As my computer has a built in bluetooth access port.

So the intent is to stream media from the iDevice to the computer and have it play via the computers speakers? That sounds like a opening a can of worms that is completely unnecessary.
If the content is already on the comptuer, simply play it via iTunes on the computer.
Apple does offer an app called "Remote" for remote controlling the iTunes interface on a computer from an iOS device when on the same local network. It requires Home Sharing to be enabled in iTunes on the computer.

I have ipod touch with 4.1 and windows 7 64 bit home premium. When I try to pair the touch and the computer, the pair starts but on the windows side it says it can't find the driver for the device. Looked at windows update and through the forums and can't seem to find anything.
Any suggestions where I could find the necessary ipod driver for Windows 7?

I can connect my blackberry playbook with the desktop software using USB but am not able to with Bluetooth. Error says I need a Bluetooth driver for the device. I have downloaded and tried to install the broadcom file but wont install once I turn Bluetooth on. I downloaded and installed Microsoft and the blue tooth is partially installed but still shows a problem in the device manager. Any help would be appreciated. I can see the playbook as a Bluetooth device but with a trouble.
