Generic Delta...Please help
Hi,
I have used one date field 'ERDAT' in generic delta and data extraction has been done through custom build function module.During delta upload , while debugging of my FM I have found that this delta field 'ERDAT' is taking the date that is 1 day ahead of last data extraction(i.e if I run INIT on 21.02.2006 ERDAT becomes 22.02.2006 or if I run a delta on 23.02.2006 ERDAT becomes 24.02.2006).Is this the way system always taking care of delta relevent field ??

Hi Pousali,
AS Roberto has already said tht it depends on the Safety interval defined by us, however to do so we have got three option to go with.
1) If delta field is Date (Record Create Date or change date), then use Upper Limit of 1 day.
This will load Delta in BW as of yesterday. Leave Lower limit blank.
2) If delta field is Time Stamp, then use Upper Limit of equal to 1800 Seconds (30 minutes).
This will load Delta in BW as of 30 minutes old. Leave Lower limit blank.
3) If delta field is a Numeric Pointer i.e. generated record # like in GLPCA table, then use
Lower Limit. Use count 10-100. Leave upper limit blank. If value 10 is used then last 10
records will be loaded again. If a record is created when load was running, those records
may get lost. To prevent this situation, lower limit can be used to backup the starting
sequence number. This may result in some records being processed more than once.

Error Message : "Importer detected a generic error" Please Help.
My problem is most likely very simple, with the research I've done I've concluded it is one of 2 options(probably):
1. The project settings are wrong - I've tried quite a few within NTSC(where I should be) but the same error occurs. I am using videos taken by my Iphone 4s. I'm just not sure on any of it and couldnt seem to find an answer online.
2. I didn't import them correctly. I've been importing them simply just by clicking on the files from my iPhone's folder while it is plugged in and dragging them into another foler on my computer. I know this isn't correct but I didn't have a importing software and I could still watch them on Windows Media Player so I thought it was fine.
It could be something else but I have everything installed for it to work so I'm not sure. I may need to download a program that allows me to convert specific properties or something?

OK, let me start by saying that I know just enough to be dangerous (and really get things screwed up). With that said, My computer was running great and then I had the chance to upgrade my processor and RAM so I did. Since doing so I've run into a little snag, most of the time, about every 60 seconds it just freezes up for anywhere from 3 to 10 sec.
Does anyone have any ideas? Here's my setup:

I know this board is ram sensitive - so is the added ram the problem?
Is SP2 the problem?
Or is it the 3200+?

What is the model of the memory modules?

The timings for that are 2.5-3-3-6 not 2-3-3-6 (assuming you got the value series)
Are you running the memory in SPD mode?
You may also want to test each module with this program.

It will create a bootdisk that cannot be read in windows.
You must then boot from the disk with only 1 module in the PC.
If you get any errors then it is a faulty memory module, test all the modules. -

For background information, what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on?
I could ask you for a lot of details to build a troubleshooting plan. However, in this instance with .m4a file and "importer reported a generic error", I am going to cut to what I believe your workflow problem to be.
You are working with iTunes music. To use them in Premiere Elements (any version), please convert them to .wav file in iTunes.
To do that....
a. Open iTunes and go to Music - File Menu/Add File To Library
b. Edit Menu/Preferences/General and there click on Import Settings
c. In the Import Settings dialog, go to Import Using and set for WAV Encoder.
d. OK out of that area.
In the Music Section/Songs, right click your import, select Create WAV Version
Then right click the WAV Version, select Copy, and then Paste it to the computer desktop
from where you import it into Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets
from where you drag it to one of the audio tracks.
Please let us know if that works for you.

0FI_AP_4 - Delta Extraction Problem - Please help
Hi,
I activated the business content ODS 0FIAP_O03 and the relevant infosource for Accounts Payable and also did the init. In R/3 I created an Invoice using FB60 transaction and Posted the payment using F-53 transaction. I can see the document in BSAK table which the 0FI_AP_4 extractor is using but when I see the delta queue in RSA7 there are 0 records for the extractor 0FI_AP_4 which means the new changes are not pushed to the delta queue. Please help.

Try running a delta load 0FI_AP_4 using the tcode RSA3 in your R/3 system? Are you seeing your document there?
I would also check RAS7 in R/3, and to make sure the delta init has taken properly. You can also check for your document there.

THERE ANY WAY I CAN PUT MULTIPLE RANDUM TRANSITIONS IN TO THE TIME LINE WITH JUST ONE CLICK ? .
There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).

If u want ur data source is delta enabled u vl come up vt these terms.
There are various delta processes for SAP source systems:
1. Forming deltas with after, before and reverse images that are updated directly in the delta queue; an after image shows the status after the change, a before image the status before the change with a negative sign and the reverse image also shows the negative sign next to the record while indicating it for deletion. This serializes the delta packets. The delta process controls whether adding or overwriting is permitted. In this case, adding and overwriting are permitted. This process supports an update in an ODS object as well as in an InfoCube. (technical name of the delta process in the system): ABR)
2. The extractor delivers additive deltas that are serialized by request. This serialization is necessary since the extractor within a request delivers each key once, and otherwise changes in the non-key fields are not copied over correctly. It only supports the addition of fields. It supports an update in an ODS object as well as in an InfoCube. This delta process is used by LIS DataSources. (technical name of the delta process in the system): ADD)
3. Forming deltas with after image, which are updated directly in the delta queue. This serializes data by packet since the same key can be copied more than once within a request. It does not support the direct update of data in an InfoCube. An ODS object must always be in operation when you update data in an InfoCube. For numeric key figures, for example, this process only supports overwriting and not adding, otherwise incorrect results would come about. It is used in FI-AP/AR for transferring line items, while the variation of the process, where the extractor can also send records with the deletion flag, is used in this capacity in BBP. (technical name of the delta process in the system): AIM/AIMD) -
Please, Help!... K7n2 Delta L And Temp...
well, i´ve a K7N2 DELTA L and noticed that the processor temp., since it began to work, two days ago, is around 47 ~ 51°C in idle mode.... and when i play any game, just like Call of Duty, or RTCW Enemy Territory, it stays around 56 ~ 62°C... is it okay or too hot... I see it in PC ALERT 4....
Please, help!I get the exact same temperatures, 60'C max load though. I don't see it as a problem since I live in Greece and right now the temperature outside is a good 40'C ! During the winter the temps (cpu, case and outside ) drop a lot (don't know how much since I only built my system about a month ago).
For me, under these circumstances, the best cooling option if I want to further drop my temps, is turn on the airconditioner in my room !

You should never try to sync your phone with more than one computer or you will lose your data. The pictures were not deleted because the sync process does not touch Camera Roll pictures (it only includes them during the backup step of the sync process).
If you had these voice memos on your phone when you last synced it to your first computer, and if you haven't synced to this computer since then, you could restore from the backup created during your last sync. This will replace the data on your phone with the data from this older backup so anything new will be lost. If you think that is the case, do not sync your phone again to the first computer prior to restoring from this backup or you will overwrite it and the backup will be lost. Instead, prior to connecting your phone to your first computer, open iTunes and disable automatic syncing by going to iTunes Preferences and on the Devices tab checking "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone and when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and select Restore From Backup and choose your last backup (containing your voice memos).
If you didn't have these voice memos on your phone when you last synced to your first computer, or if you have synced again to your first computer since losing your data, then your voice memos and other data are lost. -
Generic delta - custom table in r3- help needed

I am using a ztable in r3 as data source . i wish to extract data from this table
to my bw ods as a daily delta . i have created a generic data src zds_ztable on the
basis of this table and in the generic delta section selected ' new and changed records' and 'numeric pointer'
options .
however , on the bw side when i try to create an infopackage under the relevant infosrc , it does not give
me an option for ' initialisation' or 'delta ' , i only have option for FULL loads , I know i can use a date
field and do a pseudo delta using technical FULL load ...but i want to know why cant i do an init and then
a delta the way we do for other data srcs....

You may go to RSA2 for your datasource in R/3 & check do the delta settings are correct ? or you might need to re-generate the datasource and replicate in BW.

Well, on almost every boot, the system hangs, starts beeping wildly, and my LEDs tell me that the system is in "early memory detection" .... What now? I have APACER 512mb ddr(266mhz) ... I just can't understand what's going on here... I've tried almost everything! could someone please help out?

-MAcording to Msi test report that this ram is not certified. But this may not be the problem. Have you check to see if the ram is seated properly, Also provide the amps on each rails, this will be stated on the psu cover, and the power size of the psu.

K7n2 Delta RAID Setup ----PLEASE HELP
Can someone explain how a RAID - Striping should be setup on this MOBO? I can not get the board to see the 2nd drive. I have duplicate Maxtor 40gb drives and it will only see one of the drives. I am using IDE3 for one of the drives and then putting the other drive on IDE1. The manual states that you can only have 1 HD on IDE3 thus the reason for setting it up this way. I have also tried the 2 maxtor drives on IDE1 with another drive on IDE3 (dummy RAID) hoping that this config would work as well, but it did not!

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.It does support RAID. I have been able to go into the Fastrack utility and setup a RAID consisting of one drive. The manual also states that all IDE slots support RAID. It has the promise 376 chip.

Function Module Extraction!! Please HELP!!

This is my first project in BW. Please help!! The existing function module using 3 tables to extract (Full update) data. Now, I have to enable the delta for this generic extractor. I have seen RSA3_GET_DATA_SIMPLE (nothing specified for Delta) and RSVD_BW_GET_DELTA_DATA function module to make use of it using OPEN CURSOR but in that fm I can see only one table being used.
Should I use 3 cursors to extract if so how should I join them? Can anyone please help me how to use cursors joining 3 tables and extract right delta data?
