Generic delta problem : in init load, the request is in yellow.......

Hi all,
I have created a table in R/3, and created a Generic data source using this table, and coming to deltas, i have selected Numeric pointer in which I have given the sales document number which comes from the table as the Delta relevant field. And the other things like replication, creation of info source, info package did well and I als got Initialization option in Info Package, but when I schedule the load, its coming in yellow signal and says that 0 records from 0 records, and gives error message as no records in the source system. This is the case if I use Init option in Info package.
If I use Full load option in info pack, every thing is fine and I am able to extract the data from R/3 with out any problem, the load is getting succeeded.
The only problem is with deltas. Is there anything else to do on R/3 side to enable the delta mechanism? or is it required to use functional module to enable the deltas ( I read this in some posts)? Please give me some solution.

Hi,
There is no need to make any settings of delta...in general..it should work as similar as your full load....try to locate the problem area..and revert...
Advise, check if there are any previous init. and delete...otherwise create a new
infopackage and try..

  • Problem with dynamically loading the dropdown list from database

    Please help me,
    i am having a jsp page which contains a form
    with a textfield ,two dropdown list
    and a submit button
    when i select a list from first drop down, second drop down has to
    be loaded from the database dynamically according to the
    selected one in the first drop down.
    i gave onselect event for the first drop down and
    gave this one
    temp=first dropdown selected value
    self.location='currentfile+query='+temp;
    after this current page is reloading, but the already existing
    values in textfield and first selected value in drop down list is
    missing.
    how to solve this problem? and the rest of the problem. i mean
    loading the data into second drop down list.

    in first <selcet> tag write Onchange and submit to the jsp then the values will return in second select box.

    I have a ThinkPad X40. I tried to reformat it using the recovery partition, but that failed... great system huh? Anyway, i installed Windows XP using a different CD and i tried to install the ThinkVantage System Update and got an Error 1722.

    It had placed an executable entry in my start menu, so i tried to run it and got "A problem occured while loading the system update......" which seems to have been experienced by a lot of people. Looks like i'm at a dead end here as well... So far the Laptop has been fine with everything apart from lenovo software...
    Any help would be greatly appreciated,

  • Not Able to Load the Request in Target DSO

    Hi,
    we haddone reinitialiazation of the source system.. after that we did Init without data transfer to the target's.
    After succesful init,we are doing Full Repiar Request to load the data into the Purchaisn DSO.It has around 15140000 records are there. we are loading targets with particular selection condition.
    Now data has extracted from the source system and is there available ib PSA.but while loading to Target its not allowing to load the data in the targets.
    We are getting the Folowing Error.
    "Full 2,933,864 has overlapping selections with init. 0002933848: No updates into 0PUR_O01"
    But we dont have any selection condition for the init load.
    suggest me how to approach this issue...

    Just a thought - I am not hungry for points.. but for new comer it would matter a lot....you should assign points for relevant reply ..thats way to say thank you here in SDN...

    In case we dont have a business content datasource and the standard table also dont contain any field to register the latest change in time/day/numeric pointer ( for example sd billing plan data ) for that we need to go building a data source following the standard lo queue delta mechanism. To provide dela to datasource the association to a target syetm is required to store the dela queue as well as to extraction also.
    Could you please through some infomation for doing the same.

    The 10.10.2 Combo Update is working fine!  
    But my old problem with Safari  is still hear...  I'm using Safari 8 and Yosemite 10.10.2 now, but still some sites (iCloud.com, outlook.com, Pinterest, Garmin, Google, ) informs I'm using a non supported version,  like Safari 4.
    If you have any suggestions I would appreciate.

    suppose we don't ...
    i think you can try flexible update for master data and via ods, create ods with same structure and key as the master data, create infosource for the ods, upload data to the ods.
    and set the master data as 'infoprovider', create update rules assign from the ods. so the 'delta' is handled by ods. hope this helps.

  • Problem when start loading the SAP DB for TestDrive NW4 for Linux

    I hav install the NW4 test drive which just released on last month, but I cant open the database. I m able to execute 'startsap nw4host'. but when it load half-way, on the step of opening sapdb, it faces problem..

    in addition, my DB is MaxDB 7.5.. I download the iso (5 CDs) from Download section.
    I install it in Linux Fedora Core 4.

  • Smart Setup problem, he never load the first page

    Hello,
    I got a EA6400 this week end.
    the second one, the first one is on my mother house. And everything works good.
    But with this one i got a issue .
    I try to connect to the router with wifi ,cable,smartphone
    Also try with firefox safari and chrome.
    i try by the ip and by myrouter.local.
    Between all this try, i reset the router by pressing the red bouton between 10 sec and restart the router after.
    ach try, the first page load  but never skip the "loading page" i wait for like 10 minute each time 
    But the page never load something. i can't press any "next" ou "back" button.
    Any ideas ? 

    Try a different PC to see if it can access the web page.

  • Error while loading the delta to ODS

    Hi,
    I have an urgent situation.
    I am loading 500,000 records to my ODS with Delta request. All of them came to PSA and first 112,000 records got loaded and activated in ODS. Now, the request stays in yellow status. Other records have not loaded from PSA to ODS. How do I load rest of the records from PSA to ODS ?. Also, how do I handle Yellow request which is still waiting.
    Also, is there anyway to load 500,000 records in parallel ?.

    Go to the load monitor in RSA1 or RSMON and analyse the reasons.
    Go to the tab details and you will get some step by step. Also, you will see the update status for each data package. This will give you some clues.
    Also, the request will turn red once the preset time has elapsed for the info package. If not, you can turn it green or red. I suggest you delete the entire data.
    Look at the data selections in the info package and try to send smaller set of data and do it sequentially. The job is not getting compleetd now, possibly because there are some locking issues also.
    Also, ensure, you load all the master data before laoding the transaction data to the ODS.

    source system -
    > ODS1 -
    > Infocube1
    Now, requests are first loaded into ODS1. Then these request are loaded into Infocube1.
    Now, i deleted the request in the Infocube1.
    Is it possible to reload the request from ODS1 to Infocube1 ?
    Please suggest how.

    It is possible to load the data but not same request.
    The reason why we can not load the request is in ODS level delta resords are updated ,hence with the selection condition we have to load the present and previous data.
    and one more thing...
    If you are deleted request in Cube level means, we can reconstuct the same  request via reconstruction tab..

    I have a ods that after loading data has to upgrade a infocubo, but after conducting the load on the infocubo, although this has been done correctly, is not the traffic lights green, yellow staying until I manually put it in green. Please, which must be realized to automatically after loading the request of infocubo gets green?.

    Check whether flag is enabled for quality status to o.k ?? if not enable the flag..

    Hi Experts,
    I have function  module relating to Controlling Application from table KEKO. i have fields like cretion date and time which can capture newly created or changed records.
    if i wanted to use Time filed as Generic  delta (KEKO-CPUTIME ), what is the procedure and how it behaves?
    - what is the safety interval we need to set?
    -At what time we need to run the delta loads?is it any time?
    -Do i need to write any ABAP code regarding Time stamp field?

    Hi,
    wherefore do you need the FM. If all your data is within this table you can use generic extractor on that. Within creation you can determine if delta should be enabled and which field to use. This is the simple way and should be sufficiant.
    An other way would be to dynamicly determine the selections within the infopackage. There you can define routines to select the data.
    The safety interval determines up to which time/date new records should be taken into account. Thats mainly due to the fact that some records might be still in buffers and not yet written to the database.

  • How to deal with delete record in generic delta of generic datasource

       Anyone can give me suggestion about the delete record in generic delta  of generic data. I need extract data with a generic datasource and hope deleted record in datasource also can be "delete" in next delta extraction. I do a test with generic delta. It seem that the delete record can not be updated in ODS. but updated record can be updated in next delta extraction.
    How dose BW generic delta deal with the deleted record with generic delta mechanisim? Or how can I use generic delta mechanisim to realize that BW "delete" the deleted record of source system in ODS with delta extraction?

    Delete is not supported in delta mechanism of generic delta extractor. You will need to add a workaround for that.
    - Capture the deleted records somewhere (maybe enhance the txn deleting the record so the key is written to a Z table). Take these records to BW and manipulate the recordmode to affect deletion of corresponding record from ODS.
    - If your generic delta is based on FM, and if the 'delete' is captured in change document tables, add the logic to check change document tables whether any records are deleted, and if yes, send those to BW with appropriate recordmode to achieve deletion.
