"Genius" tab empty in the App Store
Hi,
The following problem is concerning the "Genius" tab in the App Store and absolutely not the "Genius" song mixes in iTunes.
Since two weeks, I do not have anymore proposals to applications through the tab "Genius" in the App Store.
The message "You do not currently Have Any recommendations for Apps Genius" is systematically displayed.
This problem is the same on my iPhone as well on my iPad and the same message appeared on both devices, the same day,
at the same time.
Unfortunatelly, I can't remember if this happened before or after the last IOS update.

Works fine for me, try:
Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

Every time I open the app store on my iPod touch, it says 'too many http redirects' whenever I click on the Categories and Top 25 tabs. I tried force quitting the app store, that didn't work. I tried closing all windows in Safari and force quitting safari, also didn't work. I reset the network settings, that didn't work either. When I reset all settings, it appeared to work. The tabs were different (it had a Genius tab), but it worked. However, immediately after force quitting the app store (I force quit a lot to keep as much RAM clear as possible), the same thing happened again. Does anyone know a permanent, Apple-supported solution to this problem? And please do not say restoring it. I don't want to start from scratch just to potentially experience the same problem.

Why does the App Store app crash when I try to use Genius?
Every time I open the App Store and tap the Genius tab, it starts to load, shows the categories button and then crashes to the home screen. What can I do to fix this? The iPod touch 5th Gen I use is brand new (Only 4 days old).

I have a new ipad and everything works but can't connect to the app store. Itunes works and the wifi seems to be working but i get a blank white screen when i open the appstore. Nothing will load unter the features or charts tab so i cant download any apps. Purchased and updates tab loads fine. Any suggestions?

I sold my original ipad and bought an ipad 2. I wasn't worried about losing all of the apps I had previously purchased/downloaded, because I knew that the app store has a "purchased" tab, from which you can download previously downloaded apps. I set up my new ipad 2 with the same app store ID. I went to the purchased tab, the loading circle went on for awhile then went away, but no apps showed up. What's the problem?
I would be really upset if I lost all of the apps I previously paid for or downloaded (probably about 80 or so), seeing as how the app store is supposed to remember my purchase/download history based upon the user ID.Go to "Settings > iTunes and App Stores", touch the AppleID, sign out, and then sign in with your revised AppleID.

How can I re-set the App Store so the Updates will again appear under the Updates tab?
Hi,
I am running a Macbook Pro (retina). Lately when I launch App Store and click on Updates the software updates for the software on the Macbook do not show up under the Updates tab. However, when I go to the Purchased tab I see there Update buttons next to programs that have updates ready to download.
How can I re-set the App Store so the Updates will again appear under the Updates tab?

Hi, I bought the new Itouch 5 recently, i'm just wondering how can i delete the applications in the "Updates" tab at the lower right part when you open the App Store? I just want to delete the applications that i've already deleted but it seems that it is still posted at the "updates" tab ad i can't delete it. Please i need your help. Thank you for those who will reply.
Try turning off & on your iPod (sorry if that sounds dumb, but it might work)
Or, since that's a matter of not refreshing, turn off your wifi& reconnect

I installed the Genius for Apps on my new IPhone 5 and I can no longer access the App Store and when I tap App Store I just get a white screen with the heading Genius for Apps with a white screen and no active keys.
You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
I use iphone5, I see an app update on the app store. but when App store and click on the update tab, it doesn't show me which application to update.. just gives me a blank page.!!!! I wouldn't able to know what app has to be updated, untill and unless i get check for each every app on the app store installed on my iphone... what is the solution for this.!!!! can any1 one help me out.!!!!

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh. -
whenever i update iPhoto by my app store after the download completes a message appears stating that a problem has occurred iPhto cannot be installed please try again by using the purchases tab in the app store.....i am in a big fix please help

I can't find the purchased tab in the app store app on my iPad
Ok well the purchased tab that is supposed to be in the app store app on my iPad isn't there and I'm trying to see the app that have been previously purchased so I can find some the old apps I used to have on my iPod and put them on my iPad. I have done it before but I can't remember how to do it now.
If you update to iOS 4.3.3 you should then see it in the App Store app. If you have iTunes 10.3 on your computer you can also do it there. Otherwise I think that you'll have to go through your purchase history on your account in iTunes on your computer.

Why did the app store make me purchase Pages again? I already bought Pages, Numbers and Keynote for my Ipad and want to download them onto my Mac Book and they aren't in the purchases tab. I thought I would try clicking on the buy button for Pages, thinking, it would say I already purchased this app, but it didn't. Where are all my purchases? I used the same Apple ID I use for all my Apple devices. Help! I really don't want to buy them all again.
The version of Pages, Keynote and Numbers for the Mac will be different than the iOS version and will require a separate purchase.

Recently updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1 and I have apps to update but my updates tab in the app store won't load!
I've tried everything I can, restarting my phone, turning on and off wifi, crossing the app and opening it again but none have worked so far!Same problem here, I've tried everything and nothing is working.

The updates tab is not working in the App Store. I have to go to purchased tab to find the apps that need updating. How can I fix this? I've turn off the iPad multiple times hoping it will reboot but it doesn't help.
