And offcourse that I delete my files and documents is not an Iweb problem, but because my English is not that good, that I thougt I try to tell the whole story, and hope people can read trough the lines.
Why I didn't use Iweb to upload to the server is because the server company recommanded to use file zilla. And I am a nobody with this kind of things, so I did exactly what they tell me to do.
No, i did not make a backup of Iweb and the domain file, but reading other messages on this forum showed me that I can maybe try to make empty the cashfile (?)
and otherwise I have bad luck and have to make my website again. Offcourse I have a lot of examples from all the pages (copied from the local map to my USB stick) and my website is aprox. 15 Mb, (not so big) so it will cost me a few nigths.
But I'm still hoping on a miracle :-)

Download Widgets for Dashboard right from AppStore
I think that it could be great that you can download widgets for dashboard right from the App Store on Mac OS X.
With this great feature Apple will boost the popularity of widgets because right now if you want to install a widget you need to download it, unzip it and then install it another time, then you will see the keep it advice or remove.
I love widgets and Apple need to do more about them, also by having a new section in the App Store only for Widgets there will be developers who will build better widgets and also you could pay for great widgets.

Hi!?I just got a hand-me-down. Creative Nomad JukeBox Zen. My father-in-law bought it about 4 years ago, i don't have the model number in front of me. I would like to start using a download site (ie:i-tunes) and am wondering which sites out there support this unit's Which are the best ones? Which ones are the least expensi've? (so far i found download sites for.99cents a song)?Any suggestion?for this Creative Newbie would so greatly appreciated

I have a PowerBook 145B but something is wrong with the systemfolder so it wont boot. I've downloaded System 7.0.1 from Apple and put it on Floppys with my Macintosh Classic. The PowerBook boots from the floppy but after a minute it just comes up a window thats completely white.
I've tried a lot of things, but my Macintosh classic (with original floppys) runs 7.0.0. And the PowerBook needs atleast 7.0.1 and did run 7.1.0 as original OS.
How do I fix this?Because your PowerBook 145B shipped with OS 7.1, it can't run an earlier version of the Mac OS, such as 7.0.1. Unfortunately, Apple never made OS 7.1 available for download. You can run OS 7.5.1, 7.5.3, and 7.5.5 on your PowerBook, but I'd recommend doing so with the maximum amount of supported memory - 8 MBs. The 19-part download of OS 7.5.3 is segmented, so that each one will fit on a 1.44 MB floppy disk. The problem is that the 19-diskette set isn't an installer set as such, having no bootable disk. It's solely intended to be used to transfer the individual segments to the resident hard drive in the computer. Once that's done, double-clicking the first .smi segment creates the OS 7.5.3 installer disk image on the desktop, which you drag onto the hard drive icon. This produces a folder with the OS 7.5.3 installer in it. I've done this before with an old Mac LC and it works. You can also download the 3-diskette OS 7.5.5 Update and run that. These downloads can be found on the same page where you found the OS 7.0.1 download: Older Software Downloads.

Since the latest Snow Lepard security download, Quicken 2007 for Mac does not function properly (it crashes and will not print). Quicken says it is waiting for a fix from Apple. Any idea when that might come? Does anyone have another solution?

I had windows 7 (32bit) and decided to use boot camp but i forgot to download the latest support software from apple and now i cant find any support softwares please help..i am using mac book pro
Try the Boot Camp Assistant when you are in OS X and download those and follow the directions in BCA utility.
Then look up the Boot Camp forum. I suspect you thought this was MBP related forum, it is for 65 lb tower model (and well the new "nMP Late 2013 Mac Pro" http://www.apple.com/support/macpro/

Only two things you can upgrade on a MacBook is the Hard drive and Memory. It will not void the warranty. This is apples word on it. DIY Warranty Info

Be sure you can live with the graphics. If you do a lot of graphics work you might want to consider the MacBook Pro. I use my MacBook for video editing using Final Cut Express HD and it works well. The MB is also not very good for gaming if you are into that. The integrated chip set doesn't work well with 3D games.

Depending on your school may be a factor in what you choose. I use iWork and it is pretty good. You could also try NeoOffice or Open Office. They are good also. Office is supposed to be coming out with a new Mac version but not sure yet how it will work.
Be sure to ask for the student discount when you purchase the computer and software. It adds up. -
I have an Intel Desktop iMac and I am upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I keep getting an error when it tries to load the Mac OS X update combined. It says that it was corrupted during download. Have try loading from Apple website Mac OS X V10.6.7 upgrade combined but it still won't do it? Any other suggestions. The printer is not working either - I am not sure if they are connected. Everything else is fine.
Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update. -

Ihave downloaded/paid for a plug in from adobe site (cracked backgrounds) it told me ti install Creative Cloud which i have done it shows the plug in on there as downloaded but i cannot install it into lightroom 5 to use? i have tried the plug in manger but it says cannot install plug in..also downloaded the Adobe extension manager cc but that does not add either....Please help first time i ave tried to install a plug in !!!!!! hI have same problem as above, managed to get through the jungle of Adobe stuff took me long to find a link to download of Acrobat 9 Pro which I purchased long ago (for another strange reason the re-download link is not available from my order history page in my account). When I click on the Acrobat 9 Pro download link (on the page above) this is what I get:

BTW It is absolutely impossible to get hold of a customer service in Adobe, I recall once chatting with someone asking how to reinstall my product (which I paid money for!) and was told off by a "customer service officer" that I cant reinstall it if I dont "deactivate" on another machine, which crashed long ago and was disposed of, he was very patronising and the whole experience was very unpleasant. This is just to share experience.
