Geo Map with SAP Lumira

Hello All,
I have hit upon a contrainst with the geomap functionality of SAP Lumira. Does SAP Lumira support mapping at granularity below the city level?
I understand regardless of the type of map you use (geobubble or ESRI) the tagging tool used is Navteq and it appear the lowest in any geo dimension is city.
This brings my constraint where I am working with a Singapore customer and Singapore is a city state:-)
Any help would be much appreciated .

Thank you for the quick response. Yes indeed we had tried with Longitude and Latitude as well.
The issue is even with that while creating a geo dimension Lumira asks you which geographical level does the longitude/latitude correspond to and the lowest level there is city!

On another note would be aware of any good SAP Lumira tutorial on the predictive analytics feature ?

isn't Contoso actually a sample datasource of MS SQL Server, rather than a product itself?
in which case, yes, you can use "free hand sql" via JDBC driver.
Another option: If you have BusinessObjects BI, you can can surface the datasource through a Universe (semantic layer) into Lumira.
there are Tutorials on this Lumira SCN space to help with all the above, if you search for 'tutorials'

you might try out the following
1.Resource info (personal details) Personnel Data- IT 002 and Internal Medical service
2.Competence master- Competency Catalog (skill set ) and IT 0024
3.Visa details- Custom IT
4.Resource Competences Career,succession,Planning - Execute Career Planning and Sucession Planning IT 24,25 (also please refer to PD)
5.Resource Designation Position- Map it with the organization structure, use either position/jobs to match the requirement
6.Resource Base Location- Try using PSA or create a subtype in IT 0006 or use any field in IT 0002

Citibank integraton with SAP

Dear All,
Our client has a requirement and they want to have citibank integration with SAP.
For this we are developing a ABAP program where we can map all the citibank required fields.
I have extracted almost all the fields but got stuck at one place where payment method is mentioned.
Payment Method : EFT, RCH and BKT and this i am not able to map with SAP.
How EFT payments are done in SAP in which transaction code.? and same RCH and EFT payments ?
Currently our client is using F-53 and F-58 for payments to vendor and they are not using automatic payment program.
In F-58 we only have option to select payment mentod "C" and that is a single character where can we select EFT and RCH.

Define the payment methods (EFT etc.,) in t.code FBZP. Yes, payment method is a single character field.

Oracle BI Apps with SAP data sources

What is the delivered content provided by Oracle BI Apps to map with SAP data sources?

As things stand right now SAP R3 is only supported on a much older release of BI Apps (7.8.4). That release used the Informatica SAP PowerConnect technology to populate the Warehouse.
I posted before on this forum the list of supported SAP Modules.
BI Apps cannot use SAP BW. BW can be a direct data source for BI EE however.
In the near future our support for SAP will be up to date and back on track. There are internal efforts underway that I cannot discuss here in the forum.

Paypal payflow intigration with SAP

I have a requirement on doing a delayed capture transaction from SAP during invoice creation. I have got some info on who to do it using HTTPS connection but it requires some set up like sap cryptography and https set up. there is some other way using XMLpay but i am not sure who i can do that from SAP.
can anyone help me out on this. I am not sure if this is the right forum since i didn't find any related topic

just a over all process how does it(barcode) can be mapped with sap...
my requirement is inward and outward in sap has to be done with the help of bar code reader/scaner...

SAP Lumira Integration with ESRI Maps Issue

Hello,
I have created free trial ArcGIS online account and specified this user in SAP Lumira 1.20 build 36 Preferences / GEO Map Service.
But when I try to visualize my Location data on Geo Map visualization I get an error message "Not a subscription user".
Did anyone encountered this message? Maybe this message is related to Trial account type?

Help needed with Map function in Lumira

Hi,
I've bee using Luira for lots of great tile charts and bar charts, but now I am looking to make use of the mapping visulization in Lumira.
Bascially I want to get a count of the number of retail stores by state.
I uploaded my data , and some have been populated and looks nice (see first screenshot) , but for others the state is not found (see second screenshot).
I have looked in the help documents, and some of the training, but have yet to find a solution.
What I'd like to know is how I can fix the "unfound" states, or at least find out what is the source file which stores all the states?
Above is the results so far, below is the missing states that I need to resolve. How can I fix for these "not found" states or compare the format of my original excel data vs the data from Lumira.
Alteratively if there is a way to match via post-code / zip-code please tell me how.

Hi Paul,
the geo-hierarchies take all cities that are greater than 100.000 for the name resolution and for the smaller ones you would need to use latitude/longitude information to get them resolved by Lumira.

Need help to display geo-characteristics on a map in SAP BW report

Hello all,
Currently I am struggling to display plants on a map of Germany in a SAP BW report, using dynamic geo-characteristics in SAP BW. We do not have the ESRI software ArcView (my superior does not want to buy it), so I have to be successful without it.
The actual situation now is as follows: For the map of Germany I use shape g_stat00.shp. In g_stat00.dbf in column SAPBWKEY there are the values DE/01, DE/02 DE/16. SAP-help tells me that 0POSTCD_GIS is used as attribute for the dynamic geo-characteristic plant. In the master data table of 0POSTCD_GIS the following data is present: ZIP-code, geographical longitude and latitude. To correctly display the map of Germany in a SAP BW report I include the characteristic 0COUNTRY in the rows of my query. Well, I see this map in my report.
But the following problems remain and I have no clue how to proceed:
- I do not see the individual states of Germany on the map, just the federal republic in total. What must I do to see the individual states?
- How can the plants of our company be displayed on the map? As soon as I include 0PLANT together with 0COUNTRY in my query I do not see the map any more!
SAP helpt tells me in the context of interactions with maps that the following preliminaries must be fulfilled: In the HTML code of the web template the following lines of code must be adapted to individual system requirements:
Example:
<param name=IMAGEMAP_PATTERN value=FILTER_VAL>
<param name=INFLUENCED_DP_1 value=Revenue Cockpit>.
What do these parameters mean??? What values are required here?

OWB 11.2 with SAP V6, Eror while execution the mapping.

I have a simple staging mapping, I am trying to get data into my staging table from SAP system. So far I have created a simple 1-1 mapping. when I generate the code it produces a abap report which when I try to execute on SAP system I get a syntax error. Now this error did not occur with SAP 11.1, Now I am trying to do is the following since going back to 11.1 is not a option.
When I try to run the mapping using OWB I get the following error.

Although the error is not descriptive i believe structure of the report could be the reason.
Now I am trying to do a work around I save the report into a folder on AIX and modify the file to change the structure of the file. All I have to do is add/ delete spaces in certain places.
Now I plan on creating a process flow which would call that file using a user defined function.
Once I modify the report file manually, I want to execute the report so that I can generate the .dat file and ftp it over to the location and load it into staging using SQL loader as the .dat file is in that format.
The question is How do I do this. Do I need to specify the complete process in the process flow
or when I execute the report it would do the process for me as the ftp folder location has been specified in the SAP location.

I am planning on saving the file and making the changes manually and then FTP it to SAP, Now my problem is I am not sure what Location to move it to.
My question now is where(location) does it(ABAP Report) get deployed . If it is not stored then how does OWB execute the steps in the file. I am trying to find where I can drop the modified file.

Restiction on SAP Lumira user with BI_DATA_ANALYST role

Hi,
Is there an option to disable the SAP Lumira user with BI_DATA_ANALYST role from loading the Excel data into SAP Hana? We would like the user to be able to create story boards and publish it on SAP LUMIRA server using HANA views but not allow him to load any flat file data.

Manish - if you are on BI4 there is no need for the SAP Integration Kit with Web Intelligence
You can connect using the BEx Query
For Lumira right now you can connect using the BEx query but only in the Visualize room - more enhancements are planned in 1.27 - see SAP Lumira Webcast including H1 Plans with BW Updates
I don't think Gateway is needed in these scenarios

SAP Lumira Query with SQL

Hi we are doing a POC on SAP Lumira using Freehand SQL for our business users.
We are trying to connect SQL Server 2012 / Oracle 12.
Taking both the routes I am hitting the same roadblock.
Java Class not found in classpath .com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver.
I downloaded both JDBC Driver 4.0 & 4.1 and tried to setup the jar executable but still I am getting the same error.
Am i placing the driver in correct location.
C:\Program Files\SAP Lumira\Desktop\plugins\com.businessobjects.connectionserver.standalone_3.2.4.B_20141030-231603\ConnectionServer\drivers\java
I even tried completely copying the folder content of 4.0 & 4.1 to the following location after seeing salesforce folder there. We are able to connect to Salesforce without any issues.

But I still end up with same error after installing the drivers from the preferences in LUMIRA.

Partial triggers doesnt work with Geo maps

Hi All,
Partial triggers are not working with Geo Maps.In dvt:map, PartialTriggers , when i select a table/command button from edit option,Field shows Red Mark, throws "Reference not found".
What could be the reason ??

"The rule is that you cannot set at the same level the properties render and partialTriggers."
Remove the partialTrigger from the inputText field, surround it by a component, f.ex. a panelHorizontal where you put the partialTrigger.
It should then work.

- a BI tool like information design tool (if you have access to it)
Yes, I can access. I can also connect UNX universe which is built on ECC with Webi as well. It's only in Lumira which is not working.
-Can you try from SAP Lumira changing the language used?
Yes, I tried to change different language (US and UK both) but not working.
-As the base error from your log file raised from ECC is
