German to english docum

Hi all,
I had to copy a lot of SAP code for one of the requirements. Now the comments in the code are in german.
is there a way i could translate them into english without going line by line copying and pasting from google language conversion tool.
is there a SAP way to do this?
just curiuos.

I doubt if there is such option.. haven't seen WAS700 as yet.. don't know if there is one in there.. there is a menu option to translate text elements though..

Conversion from German to English to convert a filed of table EKPO

Hi Guys,
I want to know how to convert a filed of particular table from German to English for EKPO-MEINS field. This is a unit of measure field which I'm checking from SE11, it shows it in german (LE instead of ACT, MON instead of MO etc). I'm using call function reuse_alv_grid_display and the output for all unit of measure fields are coming in german and other fields are coming in english. This problem arises after upgrade from 4.6c to ecc 6.0. In 4.6c it is working fine. Please tell me how to change it to english.

Layout shows different data depending on user-language (German or English)

Hello best of the best,
we are using layouts to enter data into BCS. In one of our layouts different numbers are shown depending on the user-language (German or English).
This is despite the same layout is used.
Have you got any idea what could cause this problem?
Is there a setting somewhere that I didn´t know up to now (to distinguish in different languages)?
Better to ask SAP using an OSS-message?

The numbers are volumes (KWh, to, l).
There are several positions with different "Breatdown Categories". In the english version of the layout only the KWh-volumes are shown. "to" and "l" (Diesel) are missing.
To describe the problem more clearly, in the german version the layout seems to show correct data:
Position                KWh         to         l
Diesel (l)                   -            -       5.000
Coal (to)                    -        3.000      -
Electricity (KWh)   200.000      -         -
The "-" shows fields that are grey --> no data can be inserted
The english version looks like this:
Position                KWh         to         l
Diesel (l)                   -             -          -
Coal (to)                    -            -           -
Electricity (KWh)   200.000 200.000 200.000
Here the white fields at Diesel (l) and coal (t) are empty, but the grey fields in the col´s "to" and "l" show the value of "KWh" in electricity as well.

i am getting this strange error in my XI system and coz its in german i m unable to figure it out.
"Kennwortanmeldung nicht mehr möglich - zuviele Feh lversuche!"
I tried some online German to English converters but it didn't help much,can anybody please let me know what does this error says.

Logon not possible anymore, too many wrong tries.

In the Creative Cloud Application you can change in Preferences the App language. Then you can download and install additional the other language.
With Photoshop you can now go to Preferences > User Interface and switch between all installed and available languages.

In my version of Flash Builder the help box that appears when you put your mouse over something is in German not English. Anyone know how I can change that back to English?

can you change language of C5 Adobe apps (illustrator, etc)to English when already installed in German?
Strangely, I have photoshop in english but am using illustrator for first time on this computer and it is in German...can one switch on a Mac in an easy way?????

Hi Ramesh,
To change the original language of an ABAP you need to copy it from the original into one development class - perhaps local - and then change the development class. When you go into edit the ABAP, you have the option of changing the original language. However, I can't find anything similar for the program documentation! As a workaround, you can use SE63 to modify the translation of the documentation for your copy.

Smart Quotes in German and English

I just upgraded from 10.4 with Office to 10.6 with iWork. So far I've enjoyed iWork. I switch often between writing documents in English and German (usually not switching language within the document) and can't figure out a more efficient way to get the German quote system to work when I type in German. I found the language setting in the Text Inspector in Pages, but when I start typing in German it still uses the English quoting system. Otherwise I have only found the option to set smart quotes as either "English" or „German" in System Preferences, with no more efficient way to toggle between the two. Using the Character Viewer seems like an awkward way to go about solving this problem. What am I missing here?

But I don't think that it's a soluce to the described problem.
When we want to use two languages in a given document, chaging the language used by the app is not a viable protocol. This is why I think that building a favourite page in the Character palette is a good soluce.
I asked several times Apple to offer a way to define on nthe fly thru a preference dialog the punctuation character which we want to use.
It seems that the feature is available in 10.6.2 but, it doesn't apply to the apps which I use daily.
I assume that the next iWork delivery will be able to take benefit of these new system features.

How can I change the language in Motion 5 from German to English

Hi Folks,
I just bought Motion 5 and I am eager to learn. I also bought some video tutorials about the program.
Now my problem is, that motion is set to German, since I live there and that's my native language. But the tutorials are english. so in order for me to understand the program even better; i'd like to change the language in motion to english without changing my whole system.
Ist that even possible?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Mac German to English

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my Mac and used it a few times and after a month of having it suddenly turned into German. I cannot use it anymore because I cant speak/read or understand Gerrman. How can I bring this back to English. Very unhappy with this.

Uninstall and then reinstall the program.
