Gestione delle raccolte di iBooks
Mi piacerebbe sapere come si possono visualizzare su iMAC le raccolte create nei device.
Su iTunes visualizzo solo la cartella PDF e non tutte le raccolte che ho creato con rispettivi contenuti.
Perchè?

Yahoo DSL from Dell Desktop to ibook-wirless via Airport Extreme
Greetings. I have just ordered a ibook G4 to replace my Dell Dimension desktop PC running Windows XP. I am currently wired to my DSL modem (Speedstream) with SBC Yahoo DSL as my ISP. I want to do the following and need some help: 1) move my Internet settings from my Dell Desktop to my new ibook, which will become my primary machine used (would like to use my Dell for only a couple of programs that are Windows only--and then only occasionally at that); 2) once Internet settings have been set up and are working as it should, I'd like to then set up my soon to arrive Airport Exteme base station to my modem and be wireless with the full 802.11g Wi-Fi capabilities. Anyone who may have experience with similar tasks that may be able to assist me? I can't wait for my machine to arrive, and I want to make sure the setup frustration, esp. w/ the 'net set up and going wireless, is eased. Also, through from anyone who's made a similar switch from desktop using the Windows platform to a 12" ibook G4 (80GB hard drive and 1GB RAM) and how that's been as their only/primary machine would be nice to hear as well? on my new Palm Lifedrive i first entered in the ip for google and it worked immidiately.
oddly enough i entered in apple.com and that worked also so i am gonna try other devices.

Sync Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA (Dell Axim) with iBook
After a decade of dependence on Windows I have made the decision to return to Apple products. I am concerned that the transition may be more difficult than expected.
At the moment I am wondering if anyone has been able to sync their Windows Mobile 5.0 based PDA with their Apple computer? If so, what program works?

Salve ho appena aggiornato a Mavericks ma, purtroppo, con il mio macbook air 11" da 2 GB non riesco ad aprire Mail, App Store, iBooks, e Mappe. Qualcuno può aiutarmi?

White screen on boot, wrong resolution in dual-display mode
Hello,
I recently installed the software driver for a Brother HL-2040 laser printer on my 12 in. iBook G4. I was prompted to reboot, which I did. When my computer restarted, only a gray-white screen appeared.
It seems that the LCD is out of phase or something similar. Some garbled content displays in the right third of the screen, top to bottom, but it is almost the same value of gray-white as the rest of the screen, nothing discernable.
Interestingly, when I attach my iBook to an external CRT monitor (Dell P991), my iBook LCD displays correctly at 800x600 resolution (as well as the mirror on the CRT monitor).
When I open the Display panel from sysprefs, it shows 800x600@85 for the CRT and 1024x768@60 for the LCD. If I try to change the LCD settings, I encounter an out of phase display on the LCD (sometimes tiled display of my desktop, sometimes gray-white screen, depending on resolution and refresh rate).
If I disconnect the external monitor cable, the laptop screen returns to the gray-white screen.
I have reset the PRAM & NVRAM following Apple's documentation. The first time I did this, there was no change in the display. The second time, I encountered the spinning gear during start-up, which was immediately followed by the gray-white screen.
I have repaired the disk permissions and verified the disk via the Disk Utility.
Does anyone know how to correct this issue?

I tried installing the most recent driver from www.brother-usa.com for the HL-2040 laser printer. This did not cause any change.
I tried creating a new user on the computer, but the issue seems to be at the system level as the display problem occurs when I boot-up.
I ran the Apple Hardware test via the OSX 10.4 install CD1. This did not turn up any negative results, however it indicated I had 16MB of VRAM instead of 32MB. Also, it showed the resolution at 800x600 instead of 1024x768.
When I have my external CRT monitor connected and I enter System Preferences > Displays, I encounter two windows. The window for the CRT shows the only two options as 640x480 and 800x600. The Default Display (which I assume is the LCD) shows a variety of resolutions and refresh rates. I select 1024x768@60Hz, which at least shows the screen, however the actual LCD resolution is 800x600.
Does anyone have any ideas of what may be causing this issue at the system (not user) level?

in my window I've got a JSplitPane with the left component that is a JScrollPane with a Jtree (used as a menu), while in the right side a customized JPanel that changes depending on the selection in the tree on the left.
My panels are initially created as follows:

Is it possible to fix the left panel not only as size, but also in the position of the window, thus the remaining part of the window will be occupied by the right panel without moving the left one? In my frame I'm using a BorderLayout, and the panel containing the splitpane is set at the center (no components on the right and on the left).

Application Servicetools for ECC 600
I have kernel 720 patch level 600.
i have installed the language Italian , from SMLT it's finished correctly, the additional importfrom SMLT special action --> import sapport package it'is don correctly all support package are green.
But when i use the transaction XD02-XD03-FB02-FB03 ecc. all trancation with using the report SAPMF02D
do not have the tab strip label translated , all other field it's ok.
In the image attached , i have iserted a black circle for tabstrib label with problem.
Who can help me?I have installed all the lasts SP15 for ECC 6.0 EHP4 , the SMLT all ok , i have to execute from SMLT import patchechs it's all green , but i have ever the same problem , for transaction with using the report SAPMF02D ( XD02 , XD03 , ecc. )

Sono uno studente di Ing.Meccanica a Modena e, come progetto di tesi, devo eseguire il seguente programma in LabVIEW:
creare tramite circuito in retroazione (PID) un andamento del sistema di tipo: costante, sinusoidale, onda casuale (tutto definito tramite struttura case dall'utente) con sistema costituito da una cella di Peltier (raffreddamento), riscaldatore al silicone collegato all'alimentazione HP Agilent 6033A (potenza termica trasmessa tramite P=VI) e piastrina con termocoppia per la rilevazione della temperatura.
Il controllo dell'avvenuta stabilità del sistema avverrà tramite una FFT con la frequenza predominante senza altre armoniche.
Chiedo gentilmente come poter sviluppare il codice, sia come acquisizione del segnale che come gestione dell'intero schema a blocchi, fino alla stabilizzazione del sistema.
In allegato un possibile inizio della struttura case.
Grazie mille a tutti coloro che mi daranno assistenza.

Compatibilità tra "traditional Device" e "DAQmx"
come si può utilizzare un file basato su "Traditional Device", nel quale i device sono individuati da numeri (1, 2, 3, ...), con un device "non Traditional" identificato con "Dev1", "Dev2", ...??
Ho costruito un eseguibile (con Application Builder) partendo da un vecchio file, per acquisire diversi canali analogici. Il file originale è stato utilizzato con schede di tipo Traditional, ora l'eseguibile deve funzionare su un PC che ha una scheda di nuova generazione. Il MAX non presenta la vaoce "TraditionalDAQ" e quaindi non riesco ad indirizzarmi sulla nuova device che è identificata come Dev1.
Come devo fare? Devo rifare il file?
Se provo a sostituire il blocco di gestione della scheda, con uno di nuova generazione, succede un "casino" xchè non hanno le stesse connessioni.

MauroSe in MAX non appare la cartelletta "traditional nidaq devices" significa che nessuna scheda supportata da questo driver è installata sul PC.
I vi che utilizzano Traditional NiDaq, non possono essere usati con schede che non sono supportate da quel driver. Quindi ti toccherà modificare il codice della tua applicazione per utilizzare il driver NiDaqmx.
Dal post sembra utilizzi LabView, in questo caso esistono dei VI ( Traditional NI-DAQ Compatibility VIs ) che permettono di utilizzare un vecchio VI (con funzioni traditional nidaq) su schede supportate solo da DaqMx con minimi cambiamenti (sarà comunque necessario partire dal .vi, testarlo e in fine ricreare l'eseguibile).
Se ti servono maggiori informazioni prosegui il thread, se scrivi in inglese avrai molte più risposte da sviluppatori di tutto il mondo.

Problemi dopo l'aggiornamento con la versione 8.02 su ipad 2
Salve, anche io ho ipad 2 con scheda dati cellulare H3G.
Dopo l'aggiornamento a ios 8 la scheda dati cellulare perde in continuazione il segnale e bisogna riavviare l'ipad per poter ripristinare il servizio di rete cellulare. Dopo l'aggiornamento a ios8 la scheda dati cellulare da completamente e sempre servizio assente non consentendo la navigazione in internet. Inoltre rimanendo collegati con solo wifi internet risulta molto lento e difficile a prendere il segnale.
Io ci lavoro si puo' sapere una tempistica di risoluzione .
ho aggiornato alla 8.0.2 ma il problema è rimasto
Visto che lavorate in qualità aspetto una risposta in breve giro di posta (tempo 7gg) .
Se no richiedo venga aperta una non conformità alla quale dovete rispondere .

marcoSiamo in tanti... é un problema (BUG) nella gestione del modulo SIM. Non c'é verso.
Due magre consolazioni nell'attesa di una release corretta:
1) Impostazioni/Dati cellulare/Dati cellulare off
almeno così si disabilita il modulo 3G sperando che non subisca conseguenze. iOS8 gira molto più fluida e la batteria non si scarica così velocemente.
2) Impostazioni/Generali/Utilizzo/Utilizzo batteria
Se "NESSUNA COPERTURA CELLA" é tra le app che consumano più batteria, vuol dire che era questo bug a scaricarla. L'unico modo di fermarlo é fare ciò che ho scritto al punto 1. Non basta spegnere il 3G, mettere in Stand-by o spegere fisicamente l'iPad. Non serve. In molti si trovano la scritta "nessun servizio" anche in modalità aereo .
Il problema si riscontra anche in iPhone.
Speriamo che Apple ci legga, si svegli e lavori un po' meglio. -

Se escludete il modulo 3G (da menù impostazioni) va liscio come l'olio e non si riscontrano grosse differenze con iOS 7.2. E infatti la batteria smette di scaricarsi senza ragione.
Alcune volte la scritta "NESSUN SERVIZIO" appare anche con 3G spento. Quindi il problema é pesante.
La batteria infatti dura la metà, e si consuma anche a device in stand by in modalità aereo, o addirittura a device spento.
Se controllate le app responsabili del consumo della batteria troverete che la app "NESSUNA COPERTURA CELLA" é una delle maggiori responsabili.
Quindi speriamo che in Apple si mettano a lavorare per darci una release del software funzionante...

Egregi signori, premetto che nella mia famiglia siamo felici possessori di prodotti della mela, nella mia azienda utilizzo degli iMac per lavoro e da quasi un'anno ho acquistato un'ipad2 wifi + 3g. 32 Gb. Contentissimo del prodotto acquistato perchè rispecchia le mie aspettative di utilizzo ma ahimè da circa 3 settimane ha iniziato ad avere problemi di pessima ricezione wifi e di perdita improvvisa della rete wifi a cui è agganciato. Ho provato a ripristinare, poi ho aggiornato il sistema operativo ma nulla da fare. Avvicinandosi la fine del primo anno di garanzia ho fissato un'appuntamento all'apple store di Catania per risolvere il problema o sostituire il device. Ieri all'appuntamento il tecnico che mi ha servito si è limitato a fare un test al dispositivo dicendomi che non riscontrava nessuna anomalia e quindi per lui il device era ok. Sono rimasto profondamente deluso e mi dispiace riscontrare che la fama di apple riguardo la serietá con cui risolve i problemi dei propri prodotti sopratutto entro il primo anno di garanzia sia solo una bufala, almeno per quanto riguarda la mia esperienza personale. Purtroppo mi vedo costretto a contattare i legali di altro consumo di cui sono socio da diversi anni per vedere soddisfatti i miei diritti.

Problema VI per l'acquisizione dati
Ciao a tutti,
sto lavorando a un progetto con LabView per l'acquisizione di dati da un canale (premetto di essere inesperto).
Praticamente do una tensione in uscita a un motorino elettrico e allo stesso tempo leggo una tensione in entrata attraverso un trasduttore di forza.
Ho dettato una durata della prova dopo la quale LabView mi salva i dati sul file (e questo funziona), io però vorrei creare un pulsante STOP che anche prima che si esaurisca il tempo della mia prova, il motore elettrico si spenga e l'acquisizione finisca chiedendomi di salvare i dati su file.
Inoltre vorrei un consiglio su un filtro passa-basso per eliminare eventuali disturbi.
Lavoro a frequenze di campionamento abbastanza elevate, circa 1KHz, e tempi di acquisizione che variano dai 20 ai 60 secondi.
Ho provato a fare un VI, però non riesco a costruire il pulsante STOP che mi serve a fermare tutto e a chiedermi il salvataggio dei dati su file.
Potete aiutarmi?

ti giro un interessante tutorial di Getting Started in LabVIEW in cui credo possa trovare le risposte ai tuoi dubbi.
Dovresti prevedere un Ciclo While di gestione del task di acquisizione con un pulsante di stop che provveda alla Sua chiusura.

Hi, my platform:
win2k server, tomcat 1.3.2 , jdk1.3.1. My application runs fast but sometimes, one time a day, java virtual machine crash.
I had'nt problem with jre 1.2.2, everything is stable. I thought that the problem resides in my web application or tomcat but i discovered this problem in another machine, with the identical platform. I installed jre 1.2.2 and now it's ok.
I think that jdk1.3.x under Windows2000 Server is not stable. I wrote a simple program, TomcatGuardian, that check if tomcat service is up, else restart it.
This program, with jdk1.3.1 after 20 -24 hours crash!!!!
Anyone have similar problem ?

I'm running the JigSaw server from W3C (which is good for web pages, but a poor servlet platform), TomCat (which doesn't do web pages, but is a good servlet platform), and the TSpaces server (a good tuple-space implementation from IBM, which is my database). All are written in Java. Then my own desktop application runs on the JRE, accessing those three servers. If I then run some of my latest applets, they use the 1.3 plug-in, and getting into the Sun web site starts the Java found in Netscape.
So I could potentially be running 6 copies of the JVM, not just 3, which strikes me as pretty silly. I want Java on silicon.
Something's wrong; in my experience there shouldn't be two java.exe processes. I only have one for Tomcat.
