Get a script error on Netflix when I try moving the movie forwward or back.

I recently switched from IE to Mozilla Firefox,mainly because it is so much faster.I do not use IE at all anymore.I deleted it from my puter.Ever since then with Mozilla,when I try to move the movie forward or back on NetFlix, everything freezes.If I persist,I get a 'running scripts' error and a suggestion that I stop them from running.When I do so It seems to fix(?) the problem.This was not a problem with IE.

Can you confirm that Silverlight is set to "Always Activate" on the Add-ons page?
You can open that using either:
Ctrl+Shift+a
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Then scroll down and find Silverlight.
Assuming that checks out, then more generally...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

I have noticed that there are a number of these error messages and tried one solution of renaming a couple of files, I tried this and no joy.
Has any one go a solution for this before I purchase Fireworks please?

I can no longer get Firework CS6 to run - The program loads but without any toolbars/properties etc. It just has an 'AN INTERNAL ERROR OCCURRED' message that cannot be dismissed. The only way to close the program is via Task Manager (this is on a Window 8 PC). I have uninstalled the program, rebooted the PC and re-installed (several times) but it has not resolved the problem.
Fireworks is part of my Creative Cloud subscription and when reporting this via the live chat I was given the telephone number for Seagate Drives ??
Anybody got a solution?
Or, does anybody know how to open native Fireworks CS6 png files in Photoshop *but* with all the Fireworks layers preserved.

Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) reinstalls the App Store for you which may help. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.7.3.
If that doesn't help, if you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
If you have an app called LIttle Snitch installed, that can prevent apps from updating.

Ipod Touch is receiving Error 50 message when trying to download movie. The download stops and is unsucessful. Followed techs instructions and deleted .tmp file from computer/cdrive/users/"computer name"/mymusic/itunes/media/downloads but same error keeps returning.

When I try to upgrade icloud storage I get an "unknown error" message. I can't install the software upgrade or back up my phone. HELP!

Not sure if you are trying to upgrade iCloud storage to make more room for the upgrade, but that won't help you. If you do not have enough room on your device for the upgrade, then you have to delete some things off of your device. You can also try to do the upgrade via iTunes on the computer you sync with. A direct upgrade does not require as much memory as a Wifi upgrade.
Upgrading iCloud storage only provides more storage for your backups and for your iCloud sync'd items like messages, contacts, etc.
Until the iCloud Drive is fully functional, iCloud will not help you to increase the memory capacity of your device.
And, right now, the iCloud servers may just be overloaded with activity.

From the menu bar click iTunes > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.

Firefox is slow to open and close. I get a "script error" that says it may be caused by a recently opened tab. What do I do to correct this problem. It is wreaking havoc when trying to open/close or move around the internet.

I am getting a "script error" when I close out the internet, specifically Firefox. My backup internet explorer does not do this. This is slowing down the process of opening/closing Firefox. When I open Mozilla, I get "restore session" even though I have closed everything down. I have "removed program" and re-downloaded Mozilla 3 times and still this problem persists. When I try to use the print/save as pdf option, I get a scripting error and Firefox usually freezes.

Same error message, I disabled tab mix and made sure I only have the newest version of Java, restarted firefox, now it seems to be fine no error yet on Pogo games or pictures upload to ebay which were the biggest problems besides hanging. Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.
