Get an error while updating itunes?
While attempting to update iTunes i get an error during installation and cant access itunes anymore
Tried reinstalling manually but the same error message pops up
What does the error message say? (Precise text, please.)

This has happened several times and I have yet to figure out why. Whenever I update iTunes it receives a Bonjour Service 100 ID error. It fully states:
540: ERROR: read_msg errno 10054 (An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
The update service says that if this continues to go into Tools>Downloads and try a manual install. BUt I can't find those choices anywhere in iTunes. I feel so smart right now.
I have no idea what to do. The computer that is having the ploblem is a Gateway NV53, AMD Athlon II 2.0GHz, 4GB memory, Windows 7 64-bit Home edition. There's no viruses or trojans.This from Canon's support site:

Encountered an error while updating iTunes
Yesterrday I have updated my iMac to Lion. Then I did a software update and there are two updates one of them is iTunes 10.4. But it gives me an error:
installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail
I have also tried to download the iTunes from apple.com as .dmg but I still get the same error.
I have repaired permissions and verify disks. But none of these solved my problem.
Any help?I had this idea in mind & it worked... I logged in as GUEST and updated everything.. it worked...

Getting CI Error while Update Job Code Description :
Hi All,
Am getting the CI error (Error saving the component interface CI_CMP_RULE_DEFN for Rate Code Defaulting Rule) while try to update the Existing Job code description. But am able to add the new job code details .
The message catlog number MESSAGE_SET_NBR=1000 AND MESSAGE_NBR=1102 is getting trigger to throw the error.
Can any one help me on which scenario this error will occur.

See if you can try to find some more loggin in the appserver or run it in trace mode the see the actual error.

Correcting the record from PSA is temporary solution depends on u r criticality....
Only Solution is to correct the record at source system level... Generally Material master data record is imp so just try to fix temporarily so that it vl not affect u r loads until it is corrected at Source System level..
Note: inform the problem to u r co-ordinator and try to correct it ASAP... and explain the temp solution(PSA correction)...

i am trying to install 4.5.x.x version, but through Apploder but is is giving "The blackberry desktop software does not have BB device software for the device that you have connected to the computer,contact your wireless service provider or system administrator".
Plz help me out.Thanks for all the advice, it all really makes sense. I tried it, however, and it still gave me the same error message the previous guy said he got that it was unable to reconnect to the device. I even tried it without the battery in there....

Getting timeout error while updating a record from c#
Hi,
I have around 30k records in a tables. When I update that record inside the Transaction (Enterprise Data Library, c#) , it takes long time and throws timeout error.
But I am able to update the same record via Toad.
In the morning I tried same updating the record, it works without any change in the code or script.+
is it due table lock or db related issue? please adivse, how to resolve if occurs again.

I have Windows Vista Premium (64) installed on my pc, never had this kind of problem before. I mostly use this computer only for itunes...
I tried to re-install itunes without success, now it gives a runtime error visual c++ runtime library , says to re-install itunes with error 7 (windows error 1114)
Please help me! thanks !I had the same problem. Use the uninstall feature to delete all of the Apple related programs that came with the recent download. There should be 3. Check the dates they were installed to be sure.
DO NOT DELETE any folders manually unless you want to lose playlists, etc.
Reboot your computer then reinstall. It worked like a charm for me! -

PrasadI also get error while updating the content in workflow thru the checkout option as reviewer. i.e. contributor checks in the content - then reviewer either updates the metadata or checks out and modifies the content and while checking in the following error occurs
Content Server Request Failed
Unable to update the content item information for 'HO000128'.
The content ID must be specified.
Please help to resolve.
