    If the university or college is on Apple's list for the online store in this country, then you can get the academic discount. Alternatively visit a local Apple retailer.

    I've been trying to get the student discount for premium. I've already validated that I am a student at a university. But every time I put in my payment information, it gives me the error:  Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don't worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method. I know that my card is working because I've been using it to purchase other things online. It's just not working with Spotify.

    You can check local retailers. Sometimes they don't have as much of a discount as a 'buy and iPad get a gift card worth....' or 'buy an iPad, get this bundle of accessories for.....'
    You can also see what your college bookstore has to offer. May/may not but doesn't hurt to look.

    not sure you can get "student discount" for this app.  you will have to ask more detail from your Apple representative. 
    when you click/ order some merchandise from the Apple store (https://store.apple.com), there's link at bottom of page (like "Apple Store US," "Education Store," "Business," or "Government Store").  you click on the [Education Store] & in the prompt you enter the name of your university/school.  but Logic Pro is not purchased here.
    you have to purchase Logic Pro from the App Store... and APP store doesn't have [Education Store] link.  so your Apple representative in Prague may have a different way to complete this.  or Apple World Wide.

    Hello all so I got charged 9.99 this month for the first time and so canceled my subscription so that I could rejoin for the reduced price of 4.99 but when I try it gives me this message  It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase.     See I have a question about the school discount.  If I begin paying the $19.99 a few months before I graduate, will I continue to get that price for the remainder of the year?  Or will I be stuck having to pay $50.00 a month until the contract is up?

    Checking on the US Store and Education store: my answer is no.
    Of note: it does calculate different savings amounts (based on the ed pricing). The prices are the same.
