Get back the data in CRM from R/3 . If CRM fails

Hi All,
If our CRM system was to fail, and again the backup was older, what would we need to do to get orders that had already flowed into R/3 back into CRM? Also, would we have any way to recover the status of orders in CRM that may had been delivered/invoiced in R/3 after the backup point for CRM?
Plz give me reply as early as possible

Dear Saritha,
I'm not sure if this forum is the right place to get a qualified answer to your question. This discussion group deals with Discovery System specific topics -> there is no CRM installed on the Discovery System.
My take on your question: You have to ensure during the time of the backup that you have a backup that covers R/3 and CRM "in sync".
You might want to re-post the question in one of the "SAP Solutions" discussion groups.

Hi! First of all: After using iSync all my address book data were duplicated, and I deleted all duplicated data manually. Then, I resetted the iSync data under 'Advanced' in '.Mac Sync Preferences'. I found a file named 'AddressBook.data.previous' and another file named 'AddressBook.data.beforesave' in my 'home folder/Library/Application Support/AddressBook'. Welcome to Apple Discussions.
You only have a very limited opportunity to recover your data this way. You should make sure that the Address Book application is not running, then drag the AddressBook.data file to your desktop or to the trash. Duplicate the AddressBook.data .previous file, and rename it AddressBook.data by removing the trailing <.previous> string. Then, launch the Address Book.
The application will read the contents of this renamed file, and display your contact records. You should regularly back up your contact records using the built-in Back up Address Book… option under its File menu. A similar option is available in iCal.

Get back the data in R/3 If R/3 fails

Hi All,
If our R/3 system were to fail, and we had to bring it back from a backup that would be dated behind the current status of the CRM due to MW flowing, what would we need to do for R/3 to get back orders/customers that existed in CRM but not in the recovered R/3 database?

Get back the Data mart status in ODS and activate the delta update.

I got a problem when deleting the requests in ODS.
actually there is Cube(1st level. it gets loaded from an ODS(2nd level). this gets loaded from 3 ODS'S( 3rd level). we were willing to delete recents requests from all the data tardets and reload from PSA. but while delting in the request in ODS(2nd level), it has displayed a window, showing as follows.
- the request 132185 already retrived by the data target BP4CLT612.
-Delta update in BP4CLT612 must be deactivated before deleting the request.
- Do you want to deactivate the delta update in data target BP4CLT612.
I have clicked on execute changes in the window. it has removed the data mart status for all the request which i have not deleted.
in the same it happened inthe 3 ODS's(3rd level).
I got clear that if we load further data from source system. it will load all the records from starting.
so to avoid this can any body help me how to reset the Data mart status and activate the delta update.

U have to make the requests RED in cube and back them out from cube,before u can go for request deletions from the base targets(from which cube gets data).
Then u have to reset data mart status for the requests in your 'L2 ODS' before u can delete requests from ODS.
Here I think u tried to delete without resetting data mart status which has upset the delta sequence.
To correct this..
To L2 ODS,do an init without data transfer from below 3 ODS's after removing init request from scheduler menu in init infopackage.
Do similar from L2 ODS to Cube.
then reconstruct the deleted request in ODS.It will not show the tick mark in ODS.Do delta load from ODS to Cube.

How can I get back the data I had before my itunes restored my new phone?

Plot:
I broke my iphone 5s.
I bought a new iphone 5s.
I started using the phone right away, without restoring it.
I just connected the phone to my computer and I allowed my itunes to restore it, unknowingly clearing all the current data on it.
SO~
Question:
I have all my OLD old data, but how can I get back all the contacts and photos I put on my new phone before I restored it. I mean it has to be somewhere, right?

So I went to turn on the ipad2, and there is an icon telling me to connect it with my MacBook to restore it. It worked fine the night before. Anyway, is there any way to get back what was on it. I am mostlry concerned with photographs. I am ashamed to say that I did not back it up as often as I should have.

I have not had any experience in getting any devices repaired so I'm not sure which store to resort to. An official Apple store should more than likely get you what you need, but I'm guessing it's probably more expensive. (if any cost for your situation)

I think of using a view in ODI, is it possible to use them in the request of creation of the view sight.

How to delete "temporary" a game and get back the data later?

Hello everybody
My iphone4s 16GB is quite full .
I wish to delete some game (Galaxy on Fire for example) to have some free space. But i don't want to loose all what i gained during the 45h of play I spent in this game... I want to be able to re-install this game later and find my last save.
Can you tell me how to proceed?

You can't do that easily.
Find another way to free up space, because even if you were able to strip the save data for this game from your device (just do a google search to see how complicated that is) there isn't any guarantee that would even work if you put it back on.

Can any one of you please tell me how to get back the exploded material Items from variant configuration? I was looking for a function module which takes me to CU50 and once user finishes the configuration process. I would like to take back all the exploded Items to my application.

Create SPK at plant 1000 with below settings,
Plant =1000
Spy type= 70
Proc type= E
Special proc type= E
Activate " withdrawl .alter.plat" check box
Issuing plant = 2000
Assign the Same SPK for component in plant 1000 at MRP view not for Header material.
And Run the MRP for Header material at plant 1000 and check ths requirement would have creatd for Component at plant 2000 .

When you log into you icloud account on your computer you are viewing data that you sync to icloud not the backups. You can't view the backups.

Yes i had not taken back up before restoring it. However i was just going through some links on the net and there is a software available for MAC to retrieve such lost data. But the point is will the said software work on iphone as the OS is not MAC..
Will have to give a try to this. If successful will share it with all. Anyone else has any idea about this please so share.
