GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC and IE9 - 64 bit

I can't seem to get the GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC to display a PDF inline using IE9 64bit. The same code works correctly using the 32 bit version of IE but the 64 bit version just displays a box with a red X.
Does anyone have any solutions?
Thank you

Hello,
In general using this method is better than using GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC

  • Cant play DRM encrypted content with Win 7 - 64 bits and IE9 - 64 bits

    Hi,
I have a problem that I need to resolve...
Everything runs fine with Firefox, Chrome, IE7, IE8, Safari on Windows XP 32 bits as well as 64 bits, except on Windows 7 64 bits with IE9 64 bits and Flash 11.3. 64 bits. Furthermore, it's work with Windows 7 32 bits with IE9 32 bits and flash 11.3 32 bits.
After the flash client executes a "loadVoucher(drmContentData)" for the licences server, I receive as a response the error code 3303 ?
According to the reference of the runtime error, it's says that the content is expired.
    3303
    Content expired.
    Reacquire voucher from the server.
Have you met this problem already, if yes, how did you solve it?
    Thanks in advance

    1.  Expand the + sign next to I have never used HP Smart Web Printing.  How do I download HP Smart Print?
    2.  Follow the instructions under Step one: Download and install HP Smart Print
**Note, I believe this download will install HP Smart Print, but not the Bing bar.

  • Sharepoint 2013 explorer view error - problem opening this location in file explorer (HTTPS + Win7 Enterprise 64 bit + IE9 32 bit + Office 2007 32 bit)

    Hi,
We have a problem using Sharepoint 2013 explorer view. (Error - We're having a problem opening this location in file explorer. Add this web site to your trusted sites list and try again).
I'm using Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit, Office 2007 32 bit and IE9 32 bit. And the sharepoint site is a https site.
Some people in my organization are able to browse and some users getting the above error. (with the same client machine configuration)
If I clear my browser cache, closes the browser and open it then the explorer view is working. But after a minute if I try again I'm getting the above mentioned error. This 1 minute expiration happens is since the first time I have used explorer
view, not since I opened the browser.
I have tried the following on my machine:
    1. Modified the web client service to run automatically.
    2. Verified the sharepoint site is part of trusted sites (https://*.spsite.com/)
    3. Compatibility mode is turned on.
    4. Tried adding
AuthForwardServerList in the webclient registry settings under parameters. (restarted the web client)
    5. Verified the BasicAuthLevel set to 1 (since we are using SSL). Tried setting the BasicAuthLevel to 2 as well. (restarted the web client)
    6. Tried installing software update for web folders (KB907306).
Verified the below on the production server:
    1. The web application has the root site collection.
    2. It has WebDav Publishing disabled under IIS Web Server feature.
Could some one please help me in resolving this issue?
    Thanks.

    Hi  Deepak,
According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to use "Open with Explorer"  in a document library.
For your issue, please verify the following:
ActiveX controls must be enabled in IE.
As you are using Windows 7 Server as the client computer, you must install the Desktop Experience feature from Server Manager.
Make sure there is a working Root site collection.
Install this hotfix for windows 7 work with sharepoint 2013 :hotfixv4.microsoft.com/.../463266_intl_x64_zip.exe

  • IE9 64-bit version of Smart Print?

Is there an IE9 64-bit version of Smart Print? I am using Windows 7 64-bit and IE9 64-bit and have uninstalled/reinstalled bing bar and Web Page printing software numerous times, but nothing shows up.  If there is not now one available, will there be in the near future?

I assume this is a SPARC system.
The Solaris 10 version for SPARC only comes in 64 bit version, whereas the Solaris 9 came in both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version, hence, where there is only one (64 bit) package for Solaris 10 there will be two packages for Solaris 9.
The 64-bit packages for Solaris 9 had an "x" at the end, hence, the Solaris 9 64-bit version of libucb.so.1 should be found in a package called SUNWscpux.

  • Adobe Reader X 10.1.3 IE9 64-bit issue

    Hi,
We are using Windows 7 Professional Build 7601 SP1 and ie9 (9.0.8112.16421) 64-bit edition.  We have also installed Adobe Reader X 10.1.3 on this computer and set it as default application to view PDF.
When we open a page that has inline PDF, we cannot see PDF in IE9 64 bit browser window. The 32-bit version of IE9 shows the inline PDF but 64-bit version shows red cross mark. We would like to run following statement in the HTML page to view PDF.
    <embed src="20120309.pdf" width="400px" height="400px"></embed>
We also tried iframe but that opens PDF in new Adobe Reader X Window.
How can we open the PDF inside the browser window in 64 version of IE9? Any help / clues will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Vaibhav

    Hi Pat,
Thanks for your reply. Is there a 64-bit vesion available for Adobe Reader X or 64-bit add-on that supports 64-bit version of IE? I checked in Adobe Reader X ver.10.1.3 release notes and it is clearly mentioned that Reader X is compatible with Window 7 64 bit version.
If possible, can you suggest alternate ways of achieving our desired functionality?
    Thanks

  • Adobe Reader 10.1.2 and IE9 Issues

For about a year I have been seeing people post about IE9 and unable to open Adobe PDF files from various locations on the Internet.  Adobe you must fix this problem as it has troubled many individuals over the past year or so.  This is not a browser issue but rather a problem with the Adobe Reader as it works with Adobe Reader 9.x and not 10.1.x
Windows 7 has been out for two+ years and Microsoft is on the forefront of releasing Windows 8 within a year.  I have performed the steps posted on several sites indicating that you must "uncheck open in browser,""Uncheck enable protected mode" "Uninstall /reinstall," "Update to latest version of Adobe," "Remove Adobe X and roll back to 9.x", etc...  All of these issues are still existing for many individuals.  Why has this issue not been resolved?  I find it disturbing that Adobe just seems to "NOT CARE" and blatantly blame IE9.
I work for a global solutions provider and as such we should be able to roll out Adobe reader X to any client running Windows 7 and IE9 without flaw.
Now we are having to roll back from Adobe Reader X to 9 this can impact several enterprise corporations and clearly should be able to be resolved with a complete fix for reader 10.x or a new version of Adobe Reader rather than a simple band aid
I would love to have this fixed than have to roll back over 10000+ machines to Adobe Reader version 9.x
Adobe please fix this issue as this is impacting individuals, small corporations, enterprise corporations globally!

Yes, I have seen this a couple of times here in the forums.  But I, for one, have no problems opening PDF files in IE9 (as long as I use the 32-bit version).
Maybe Adobe has troubles reproducing the issue?

  • IE8 and IE9 issues

Created a site in DW CS3. Recently Made some modifications using DW CS3 and added some new rollovers. Everything previews correctly in Safari, Firefox, Opera and IE5.2 (mac).
When viewed in IE8 and IE9 I get colored outlines around some of the rollover images. This does not occur on the rest of the site, only where I added the new rollovers. I added the bottom two rollovers, but the older top two rollovers are also affected. Does anyone have any ideas?
This is a link to the page
    http://www.gfigenfare.com/Services/Serv_SpPrts.html
Below is a screen shot of the page from IE9
    Thanks

You have a stray <html> tag in your head.
I think you need to close off your <img> elements with a back slash at the end like this:
    <img src="../Home/images_home/Contact_out.gif" alt="contact us" name="ContactImage" width="199" height="62" border="0" />
Some of your other errors occur I think, because you are using deprecated attributes.  At least I think that's the case.  I don't think they will muck your layout up but then, I never have used a table based layout.
One thing that you could try is to use HTML Tidy in the validator - http://validator.w3.org/  There's a check box there under "more options" that will run your code through that and it will spit out your page all neat and tidy at the end of the results page.  It adds its own meta tag to show that you used it.  I always remove that so people can't see I cheated.  I don't like using it because for me it circumvents the whole learning thing.  Easy, but no help for the future.
It is a bit of a blunt instrument I think and I would always use it with caution.  It should only take minutes so what I would try is to duplicate your page in DW, rename it testpage.html or something, run the validator on your existing page, copy the whole of the code that it spits out for you, delete the exising code in your test page and paste that in and then er... test it.
What HTML Tidy will do for instance, is add in things like unclosed elements.

  • Problems in IE9 32 bit browser but not 64 bit

When I delete a message(s) in Yahoo Mail or when I go to my mortgage website and login, I get a blank page and then nothing happens.  I only get this problem in IE9 32 bit and not 64 bit.  I reset IE9 Options under the advanced tab, updated Java
and Adobe, but the problem still persists.  I also did a viral scan using MSE and MalwareBytes and my computer is clean.  Can someone help.  Thank you

IE9 is fairly old, upgrade you browser.

  • Acrobat X does not open pdf in IE9 64 bit

    Hello,
well the title sums it up really. When I click on a pdf link in IE9 64 bit, the whole Acrobat X program opens. I would like to open it in the browser. Acrobat X Pro internet settings are set to Display pdf in browser.
    Thanks

Thank you for your answer. You were right that I was running 10.0.0 so I updated but to no avail.
I googled somewhat and some posts refer to the ActiveX folder of the Acrobat installation (although it was about Acrobat 7).
My ActiveX folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\ActiveX) only contains only 'SelectPageRange.ocx'. Should there be more files?
Can I check the presence of Acrobat ActiveX in IE9?
    Thanks

  • Embedded Flash videos play on 32 bit Win7, not on 64 bit Win7, IE9 32 bit

    Hello,
I have two PCs.  One is running 32 bit Win7 SP1, the other 64 bit Win 7 SP1.  Both have IE9 32 bit and the latest version of Flash 32 bit, 10.3.183.7.  This page http://www.iorr.org/talk/read.php?1,999739 and others at iorr.org have embedded YouTube Flash videos.  On the 32 bit machine, they play fine on both Admin and Standard accounts.  On the 64 bit machine, the embedded videos are only visible on the Admin account.  Standard accounts show an empty box with a broken icon symbol where the video should be.  (Note:  not trying to use IE9 64 bit.)
I've spent a couple hours uninstalling and reinstalling Flash trying to see the videos on a Standard account on the 64 bit PC.  Nothing works.  Any suggestions?  Note that normal Flash videos work fine on the 64 bit PC Standard accounts.  Only embedded videos fail.
During this exercise, I noticed that the 32 bit PC has the Flash Player Control Panel under Control Panel->System and Security.  The 64 bit PC does not have it there, but I can manually bring it up from a CPL file in the SysWOW64 folder.  Not sure if that's part of the problem or a different problem.
    Thanks for your time.

I spent hours and hours on the same problem. My computer has a slightly different configuration. I am using Win7 32 bit, but experienced the same problems. Embedded Flash is working under Admin account, but not under other accounts. Many de-installs and re-installs, but nothing seemed to help. Until I found this internet post:
    http://superuser.com/questions/244316/embedded-video-is-not-shown-in-internet-explorer-9-r c-or-beta
The solution offered in that post solved all my problems. Hurray!!!
    Solution:
    * Open REGEDIT
    * Find the following key:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/x-shockwave-flash
    * Delete the key
    * Re-install flash
    * Problem solved (in my case)
In the replies of the above mentioned link another solution was given (in stead of deleting the key)
    * Right click the above mentioned key
    * Change the access rights and allow all users read access to the key (did not check this myself)
In order to keep the solution safe in this thread, please find a copy of the info in the link above here:
In IE 9 RC or in beta, the embedded video is not shown in the web page. I verified the security settings in "internet options". Did not find any issue. Please find the screen shot below. I am able to view the flash videos in Youtube. But, for some reason, in some sites the embedded video is not shown.
I don't have this issue with Firefox.
    UPDATE:
I am able to see view the embedded video in Admin account. But not able to view it in Standard account.
    UPDATE:
As it works as administrator, use Process Monitor and filter the Status on ACCESS DENIED.
This allows you to troubleshoot what key the iexplore.exe process can't access.
@TomWij, Thanks for the suggestions. The Process Monitor hint helped to nail down the issue. When run with standard privileges, it is getting "ACCESS DENIED" for reading the key
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/x-shockwave-flash.
When I elevated the privilege to Admin account, it did not have any issue. Then I uninstalled flash, deleted the registry key and then installed flash again. Now, I am able to view the embedded video in standard account.

  • Webcast problems with Flash Player 11.7.700.169 and IE9

I recently started to have problems viewing slides during webcasts from TalkPoint/Lightwave.  I have Windows 7 64-bit and IE9 (both 32-bit and 64-bit).  When the webcas starts, the audio is fine, but the slides are not shown.  If I remove Flash Player, I can see the slides.  With Flash Player installed, I can view the webcast fine in Chrome and Firefox, but not IE9.  Looks like another incompatiblity between Flash Player and IE9.  Does anyone have a solution/workaround or should I try to download an earlier version of Flash Player.  Perhpas IE10 is a fix.

I'm having the same issue; non-HTML5 videos won't play. Specifically they start for a couple seconds and then freeze. I'm running Windows XP and Firefox.. I tried de-selecting hardware acceleration, increased the local storage, and I don't know what else to do. XP, Firefox, and Flash are all the latest versions.
This has only been for the last 2-3 weeks, and the only things that have changed are updated Flash, updated Firefox, and supervisor installed Norton while I was on vacation.
    Please, any suggestions?
ETA: And just like that, it's working! I think that I probably should have restarted the computer after changing my settings yesterday. Or not; still confused but relieved.

  • Flash Player 10.3 for IE9 (64-bit)

    Hello,
Believe it or not I am running Flash Player 10.3.162.28 in my final version of IE9 (64-bit).  It works PERFECTLY.  LOL.  What's the story behind this version, does anyone happen to know?
I got it from the Flash Player Square site back in September or October 2010 and then the releases for 64-bit were removed, leaving me high and dry.  I am running the proper 10.2 version in my IE9 32-bit, but that doesn't have anything to do with the 64-bit version.
Does anyone have a clue, because I don't.  LOL.
Should I just leave it alone?
    Thanks!

Hi, I think it's helpful to understand that the Square Flash Player for 64bit browsers ONLY and yes it's still a "beta".
Now the 10.3 that you have is also a beta, and I think it's for a 32bit browser with certain new features. I haven't had time
to read all of the info(plan to) but I didn't see yet that it is even supposed to work in the 64bit browsers. That would be confusing as that is what the Square is for.
While this is a beta release of Flash Player 10.3 for desktop operating systems only, we are planning to release Flash Player 10.3 for mobile and the next version of AIR and AIR SDK for desktop and mobile soon. (That's interesting!)
Well I just went to find out and here is this:
When will Adobe Flash Player support 64-bit operating systems and browsers?
Flash Player 10.3 will not have 64-bit support. Support for 64-bit operating systems and web browsers on Linux, Mac OS, and Windows is currently available in the Flash Player "Square" preview release on Adobe Labs. Developers can use the "Square" preview with the current Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 9 beta. Availability of 64-bit support in a publically available release for consumers will be announced at a later date.
It's confusing, but there is only one Flash Player that supports the 64bit browser and that is Square.
The 10.2 is for 32bit or 64bit Operating Systems but only works with the 32bit browsers.
The 10.3 is a version that is in beta and will be shipped, but it appears it will be only for DESKTOPS.
If the 10.3 is working fine for you, I'd keep it. Are you sure IE9 that you have is a 64bit? I wasn't aware of that at all.
Well, hope I haven't confused you in trying to explain this
    Hope this message goes thru.
    Thanks,

  • Lenovo T520 Optimus - IE9 32 Bit Crashes

    Hello:
I've been unable to use IE9 32 bit because it crashes shortly after I open the application.  I've disabled evey add-on and it still occurs.  Read something on Lenovo support that something with Optimus causes this.  To temporarily resolve this, I had to use "Software Rendering" vs navtive GPU acceleration.  I installed the latest drivers but the issue remained.
Has anyone solved this problem without using "software rendering" option?  I"m getting used to the IE9 interface over IE8 and would like to switch.
    Thanks,

    Hi ThorsHammer:
Thanks for the suggestion with Adobe Flash.  I uninstalled all the Adobe Flash software on my T520.   Restarted the computer and installed IE9 and then reinstalled Adobe Flash 10.3 as web sites required.  Left GPU acceleration TURNED ON.  I haven't had any problems so far.  Let's hope this continutes.
