Get Bold letters in Standard text?

Hello
I have created a Z_style in SMARTSTYLES transaction. IT has some bold, colored texts.
Then, i am trying to create a Stnadard Text in SO10 by using the above just created Z_style.
But, when i opened the SO10, gave the custoem name, and trying to use my z_style, but, i did not see any such in SO10? My navigation is SO10-->Menu..._Format->Change Style
Pls. let me know how to fetch my z_style into SO10 tx.

Hi,
SO10 - Standard Text is only a container to contain variables with no styles attached. If you need to attach Z-style you have created, you have to apply in SAPScript or SmartForm and in Print, you'll see that styles.

Getting error while transporting standard text

Hi,
I am trying to transport the standard text(created in SO10), by using RSTXTRAN program but i am getting this error message " Changes to objects are not allowed in correction/Repair" after click on "Trsfr texts to corr" button.
I am doing in the following way.
Program : RSTXTRAN
Given
Text key - Object - TEXT
TEXT KEY Name - ZTEXT
ID - ST
Language EN
Execute
enter -> click on button called transf text to corr -> it is throwing message " Transfer text to a correction" i am saying "yes" then its throwing the following error " Changes to objects are not allowed in correction/Repair"

Hi,
In order to assign a standard text to your request. You should be the owner of the request. Though you have a task on your name under that request, it doesnt allow you to assign. You will be getting the error which you got now.

How to get the Hardcoded text and the Standard text in the same line

Hi,
I have an SAP Layout. In that, it should show the Consignee name as below.
     Consignee: SAP LABS
In this, the text 'Consignee: ' should be hardcoded in the layout itself. and the customer has requested to create a standard text for 'SAP LABS' sothat if they want to change the value in future, they would go and change the Standard text. I have created the Standard Text for SAP LABS. I am not able to get both these texts on the same line. I wrote in the layout like below and AS is the Paragraph format.
AS     Consignee:
/:        INCLUDE ZVRU_CONSIGNEE OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN PARAGRAPH 'AS'
But, both are coming in dofferent lines. As /: is a command line, it is coming in the next line. Is there any way of getting these two texts in the same line..? While Inserting the Standard Texts, will there be any option/command to print it in the same line..?

I have had a similar requirement. I did not use any FM or anything, simply did the following:
In SO10, for your standard text where u have used the text SAP LABS.
Instead of P1/ default para, change it to =. And then Save ur Standrd text.
Now in the SAPScript Text editor in which you want to print
P1 'Consignee :'
/: INCLUDE TEST OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
the output will be
Consignee : SAP LABS
I have tried and tested this method. It will surely work.

How to get the standard texts available in a smartforms

Hi Experts,
How can we find out the standard texts that are exist in a particular smartform . is there any table/function module available to get those standard texts? I am finding the table STXFTXT, from that I am getting only textline. But I need the standard text names that are used in a smartform.

1,Use SO10 Tcode to write standard text in Smartform.
2.For long text
method1
Create TEXT node- general attributes change text type to include text
then you can input text name/text object/text id/language
method2
create PROGRAM LINE node - use FM READ_TEXT to read it to a internal table
then use LOOP or TABLE node to display it
For TEXT module(For foreign language)
Tr-code:smartforms -- choose Text module(not choose form)--create a text module object
then enter smartform Create TEXT node- general attributes change text type to text module
input the text module name which created by above

1. take function module name of the smartform.
2. goto se37 and type that fm name.
3. goto attributes tab
4. double click on either program or include .
5. There u can find all the subroutines used inside smartform.
6. search for "perform %move using %textkey-name".
4.Standard Texts are created in SO10 Tcode and stored in STXH table with OBject ,ID and NAME parameters. We can use Read_Text FM to read the text.

How to CAll Standard Text in Smart Forms
In SFs you can insert the standard tests using the TEXT node. Create a TEXT NODE. Then in the GENERAL ATTRIBUTES of this TEXT node select INCLUDE TEXT in the TYPE option. Then you have to enter the text name, object , ID and language in the provided fields. Then if you dont want any error if there is no text in the corresponding text then CHECK the check box "No errors if no text available.

Standard text in SO defined as bold doesn't come out bold in smartform

Hi Gurus,
I have created a standard text in SO10 transaction and I have given to it the characteristic highlighted (bold) the test effectively appears as bold while in SO10.
However when I call this standard text in a smartform (which is treated to be edited as a spool in a subsequent step), my so-called text does not show up with the highlited chatacteristic specified on the spool printout.
Can anyone tell me how I could solve this ?

How to get the real texts according to Standard Text Key maintained in CA10

I have a requirement to fetch the standard text based on the standard text key which is maintained by CA10.
is there any direct way to get those texts without giving 'TEXT NAME', 'TEXT ID' and 'TEXT OBJECT' but just by the standard key?

Hi Varma,
Even if you want to personalise the Text also you can do without checking the DICTREF checkbox. Dirctly you can give the text in the Text elements by using the Menu GOTO -> Text Elemetns -> Selection Texts.

Standard Text not getting refreshed.

I am working on a script where in I got to use a standard text. I am printing the text on script. And no error is coming. But when I print more than 1 invoice continuously I am getting the same standard text multiple times.

Bold Text from Standard Text

Hi All
I am using standard text using READ_TEXT and create_From_sapscript methods. Some text in standard text contains BOLD, this is showing in SO10 print priview as well, but in webdynpro BOLDis not coming?? How to create Bold using STandard TExt... pelase help..

Hi,
It should be in the formatting of the SO10 text. Maybe you can save your SO10 text like this:
This is normal text, but <strong>this word</strong> is bold.
You can then set this values in your context element and bind it to your formattedtextview.

Standard text in Real Estate

Hi all,
I am able to see Standard text saved in STXH table but not in SO10.
Actually these are getting dynamically called and settings are maintained in
Real Estate -> Correspondence -> Letters and Text Modules -> Maintain Letters.
Can you please tell me where I can see these standard texts?

Only the header details of the standard text like Text object, Text Name, Text ID and Language are stored in STXH...to read the same text use fm READ_TEXT by passing these parameters..but if an entry exists in STXH, u shud be able to see the same in SO10

Need to use standard text in smartforms

Hi,
My requirement is like to use standard text for the address like ...
Company Name
Street, State, PIN
Phone: 111-111-1111
All the above lines should be aligned in the middle and 'Company Name' should be displayed in the bold.
1) I have created the standard text, and included statement in text window as 'INCLUDE XXXX OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN' but unfortunately it was not displaying anything in the output.
2) I have tried the another method like using the 'Include Text' as a text type in the text window. It was coming but BOLD and center alignment was not coming.
Here my question is why it was not coming in 1) case and if i use READ_TEXT function module will it solve the problem ? in case 2) how can i get all the 3 lines gets center aligned and first line should be bold.

if u wnt ur Addr first line should come in bold letter than for that
u first *** to "sap smart forms : initial screen" there is option 'STYLE' click on that radiobutton and creat ur own STYLE (Zxxx) on there u vl find al ur answer...

The standard text will be stored as Name = ORDCONF_TEXT_(sales org)_(distributionchannel)_(division)
Text ID = ZSD
Examples: ORDCONF_TEXT_4000_01_01 ,

The print program /form will need to pick up the
appropriate standard text based on the Sales Area
(combination of Sales Org / Distribution Center /
Division) of the sales order [VBAK-VKORG /
VTWEG / SPART], provided a standard text has been
created for that Sales Area. Itu2019s not required
that every sales area have a standard text, so if one
is not found, this step should be skipped and
the rest of the print program executed.
The new text should print after 2 blank lines after
the Printable Notes text (which is after the

The font should be the same size as the Printable

You do not need to use the subroutine READ_ORDER_TEXT to get another text name because you already have it: TMP_TXNAM2 .
Pass this value back to your SAPscript, and it is okay.
Or you can even check the text object is empty or not, if no text is found, print 2 empty lines:
still use your subroutine to read the text, if no line is found, set TMP_TXNAM2 to empty, otherwise, no change,
In SAPscript, check the value is empty or not, then print 2 empty line or the text object...

Standard text and Adobe forms

How do you get a standard text created w/ SO10 displayed on the PDF? Can it also have the same formatting... bold, underline, etc.?
Currently on ecc 7.0.

This is where some training may be helpful....
I now have the context tab in SFP by changing the interface type on the interface attached to the form to be dictionary based. This allows me to add the text as you mentioned. The form has ZCI layout assigned.
But now my webdynpro is having issues calling the form. In my webdynpro my template source is the same as the sfp form name; but as I assign the pdfsource and datasource they are either removed and/or changed to a dummy value that is added to my context with no nodes or attributes.
This application currently runs in a production environment. All I was trying to do was add a standard text element to the form.
