Get download back!!! Help!!!!!!
I have dial-up, so my mom needed to call somebody, but right then I was downloading something. I wanted to see if I could download without being on the internet, so I signed off, but then a message said I needed an internet connection, or something.
So I decided that I would figure out later how to finish downloading my 2 songs.
When I came back onto itunes, it said to sign in, I guess to finsh downloading, but I wasn't online, so even though I signed in, it didn't keep downloading. Now the songs that I was downloading arn't even in my libray!
Help, please! that cost me 2 bucks off my prepaid card money!

Hey you guys..add another to your ever growing list of users that have just recently lost access to the music store. I was downloading music last week and, today, it's telling me that my network connection is not active..yada..yada..yada.. I have not made any changes to my computer.. in fact, I had just updated itunes on my laptop and main 'puter. I had initially thought it was a problem on my laptop because of my wireless connection but realized that it's the same problem on this one with a LAN connection. come on, APPLE..help us out..we're drowning here!!!

Ipad2 lost w-fi connection and i cant get it back, help!!
I've got a problem with my ipad2. Since last weekend its stopped being able to connect to the internet. Every time i try to connect it says 'unable to join network'. I've tried resetting the router, and the ipads network settings, and rebooting the ipad itself. I also tried turning the wi-fi off in ipad settings then turning off the ipad. When i rebooted the ipad, it had automatically turned the wi-fi back on, and as before it says 'not connected'. Attempting to join my network with password brings up 'cannot connect to network'. And nothing works. My laptop (using same wi-fi) and PC connect and can get online just fine and all the router lights are green. My router is a Netgear DG834G. Any ideas?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

i updated my phone and it deleted everything even the factory apps how do i get them back
Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
Also check Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it has been restricted.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -

create an ACL file
/Library/Server/Mail/Data/mail/public/dovecot-acl
with the contents something like this:
user=jeff lrwstipekxa
authenticated lri
This would give user jeff full access
authenticated users could drop files, but not read
Thats just an example.

I accidentally removed "Downloads" from the bar at the bottom of my iMac. I thought I could just drag it back down there from Finder, but when I try, nothing happens.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -
i deleted my download folder by accident i waz moving it and it just deleted it and showed this smoke. i found it in my trash so put it on my dock then clicked on it and it shows preview?! plz help how do i get it back!!!
You need to restore the folder using the (Put back) selection (CTRL click).

I just got my imc, and well....i made a mistake. i accidentally put my downloads in the trash and forgot about it. when i emptied the trash later i neglected to look what was in the trash before i deleted it adn i cant get it back. please help me!
Go back to the site(s) from where you got the downloads from & redownload them.

I backed up my iphone last weekend. Today (one week later), I was downloading music and noticed the text messages I send to myself (about 1 1/2 years worth) are gone. Now, I can't find the backup from last week to try to get them back. help???
You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

It has always beenv ery basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

My computer had been wanting to do a software update, with what I believe was the Mavericks Software, for a few weeks but I had been putting it off. When I finally decided to install the update onto my Macbook Pro 15" today, my screen went completely black and I haven't been able to get it back since. The computer still turns on, I can tell because my caps lock key still glows when I press it and my volume buttons still make sounds when I press them. However, I cannot see anything on the screen. I don't even get the grey start up screen when I reset my computer. I have tried the SafeMode Restart where you hold Shift while it is restarting and the Display Reset in which you hold Command + Option (alt) + R + P until you hear the start up noise twice, and neither have worked. Any other advice on what I can do to get my screen back without having to send my computer away to be fixed?
