Get dsc.exe error "iertutil.dll not found"

When I start my Dell mini 9, I get an error box. dsc.exe error
"Could not find iertutil.dll
Reloading program may help"
Have to click "OK" several times to get box to go away. Firefox then opens with Support Soft and a "run error" message with blank screen.

Have a read of the following doc in Oracle Support - "setupCCR failed with Error "This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found" on Windows [ID 1192113.1]"
Cheers

  • HT1923 After updating Itunes it stopped working. I removed Itunes and reinstalled and i am getting the foloowing errors MSVcr80.dll not found and Itunes not installed correctly error 7 (window errror 126) How do I fix this?

Yesterday I updated my Itunes account and it stopped working.   I tried installing itunes version 11.1.4  and once done it came back with 2 error messages MsvCR80.dll was not found and I tunes was not installed correctly Error 7 (windows error 126)    I have removed Itunes completely and redownloaded several times with the same result.  Is there an easy fix or can I download an older version of Itunes that works?

None of the solutions mentioned in this forum work for me. I've not ever had a problem with your software before. I installed and uninstalled itunes 3 times. No itunes directories exist. I've uninstalled everything labled Apple on my pc withe the same results. The problem is with your software not Windows.

  • Calendar Server installation gets error "libnmspr20.dll not found"

Calendar Server installation gets error "libnmspr20.dll not found"
    <P>
When installing Calendar Server 3.5 on NT near the end an error
occurs: "libnmspr20.dll not found " and then it will exit the setup
    without completion.
This is a bug because it is looking for the libnmspr20.dll in the
system path but the Calendar Server installation has left it in a
temp directory. This does not occur if the Netscape Messaging Server
has been previously installed on the same host. A workaround is, when
the error message displays, you DON'T press ok, but search your
computer for the missing file (usually found in temp-directory).
You then copy the file to a directory in your system path. Now you
can press the OK button and the installation will fail. Re-install
the calendar server, this time the installation won't fail.

Installing Latest JRE on NT4 sp6a produces the same error:
    InstallShield DLL Custom Action:
File 'C:\TEMP\RegUtils.dll' can not be found. Make sure the file is on the target system or installed already.
I searched www.installshield.com since the error is an installer error and the installer is InstallShield. NO results found there either.
Seems like the installer team needs to brush up on the NT4 platform.

  • Same problem as many others. iTunes quit working after recent update. Re-installed, still won't work. Error MSVCR80.dll not found.

My iTunes quit working after the most recent update.  Re-installed as instructed without any success. Error message APSDaemon.exe MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reported as error 7 (Windows error 126)

  • Why the hell do I keep getting this friggin' error msg"Server not found Firefox can't find the server at .................." ?

Done all suggestions in online help (windows firewall settings, updates, ect.) No problem with IE8 with same webpages.

I'm looking for a solution for the "Server Not Found message I keep getting repeatedly, and this thread does not provide a solution.
However, I had to sign in to say that the "Reset Firefox" feature should never be presented as a first solution to any problem. It's a last resort, not first resort. Doing so is lazy thinking and reckless, especially when dealing with users who may be newbies or inexperienced, or who may not read instructions so carefully and understand the ramifications of wiping their settings and customizations.
There are plenty of articles and Knowledge Base entries that touch upon this user's problem, so why wasn't he directed to those, or at least the invariable "Open in safe Mode", before suggesting such a drastic "solution"?

  • QuickTime Error  3iVX.DLL Not found

Downloaded and installed 'free' quicktime player and purchased the 'pro' upgrade and tried to instyall that. Quicktime gives me the error message that
3iVX.dll could not be found. Is it not included with the download? Where do I get the DLL and how do I install same?

I fixed it. I didn't know that the 3ivx was its own codec. I thought it was a part of the Divix codec. And just replacing the dll file in the quicktime didn't work. But after I found the 3ivx website I downloaded it, and it said I had a newer version already on my pc. I uninstalled the newer 3ivx and reinstalled an older version and quicktime started right up.

  • When i use the short cut i get a message saying "mozalloc.dll not found!" cant find such a file how can i solve this ?

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.<br />
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.<br />
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Clean_reinstall

  • Xvidcore.dll not found

When opening Encore I get the error: "xvidcore.dll not found". I can close this and all runs ok (so I think so far). Any ideas on a fix? Thanks!

XviD is another thing like DivX - best avoided.
It's an AVI - of sorts - but a very heavily compressed one, where it is possible to put an entire movie on a 700Mb CD-ROM.
Trying to use this sort of AVI file is never going to give great results either.
AVI simply means "Audio Video Interleave", nothing more, and there are many types. For the purposes of DVD, you should ideally be using DV AVI Type 2.

  • APAgent.exe error dnssd.dll on startup with the suggestion to reinstall. How do I remove the error?

I am giving away my windows XP laptop to my 80 year old Mom and deleted itunes and ipod software.
Now getting APAgent.exe error dnssd.dll with the suggestion to reinstall. How do I remove the error? I don't want to reinstall on this laptop.

Did you uninstall Bonjour from the PC? Airport software uses Bonjour, and it looks like your Airport base station agent is complaining about the missing Bonjour (dnssd.dll is a Bonjour file).
Is your Mom going to be using the Airport capabilities of the laptop? If not, it might be easiest just to uninstall the Airport utility and/or other related Airport software.

  • Error 906 message not found on compiling form in forms builder

When compiling a form in forms builder 6i I get the message: error 906: message not found. No message file for product=plsql80 facility=PCM
    What should I do?

Is your PLSQL80 environment variable set? - Should point to the PLSQL80 directory as well.
If this is the only missing error that you have I wouldn't worry about it. 906 just means that PL/SQL could not compile the program unit.

    TomCT60,
Is your MacBook using Mac OS X 10.6.8 as indicated in your post? If so you will not be able to fully integrate with iCloud.
iCloud and Snow Leopard, by Roger Wilmut describes what iCloud options are available for Snow Leopard.
If you are using Lion, go to iCal>Preferences...>Accounts, and delete/re-add your iCloud CalDAV server.

When I try to open iTunes from my PC, I get a message "aps daemon.exe  MSVCR80.dll not found  reinstall"
I have redownloaded iTunes and still get the same message. It has to do with my Windows Vista in some way? I cannot sync my iPad2, iOS 7.0.4 with my PC.
Can anyone help me? I don't want to lose the thousand and one things I've bought.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
