If, during an application page view, you would like to reference the page ID, use the bind variable :APP_PAGE_ID, the function call v('APP_PAGE_ID'), or the substitution string &APP_PAGE_ID., the use of each being particularly suited for different contexts as explained in the documentation.
The page title can be obtained by querying the publicly accessible view apex_application_pages, qualifying such query with the application ID and page ID.
Also, if you avoid non-standard punctuation, I believe your meaning will be more effectively conveyed.

How do I split each page into a PDF and name them after a line of text on the split page?

All,
I am running a report that is creating hundreds of letters to be sent to customers. When I run the report it creates one large PDF (one letter = one page). To help with a specific business solution I need to split each page into an individual PDF. I know I can extract the pages using the extraction tool. I have also been able to duplicate this from the Javascript console, but only with generic names. The problem is that I need each PDF named after the customer's account number. The account number is listed on the page that I am extracting, but I am having a hard time parsining the text on the pages to find it.
I need to be able to turn each page into a seperate PDF and then rename that PDF to match the account number list on the page.
The account number, is of course, different for every customer and has varied prefixes. The line of text that I need to read starts like this:
Account Number#: NJA00001
I need to just pull the NJA00001.
I would really love to automate this process.
Can you help me with this? Thanks in advance.
PS: I am a little rusty on my Javascript, its been a couple years.

This can probably be achieved with a custom-made script, but it's not possible to know for sure before seeing some sample files.

Online number - paid and its nit working

How to Bates-label (give each page a number) using Adobe?

I am a secretary at a law firm. When clients or opposing
party send us files in Adobe, we have to print out these hundereds
of pages of documents. We make labels in Word, print out the labels
and stick them individually on each documents. We call it
Bates-labeling. It is to give each document a number so we know
what case and which number the document is from. For example, in
case where our client is Walter Becker Corp. The label would be
WBC00001 for page one. So my question is, if there is any way I can
have Adobe label it for me?

I figured this out. I had to put my header and lines sections in a table and then specify on the table properties to repeat the header row on each page.

How do I get the pages left to read and the percentage of pages I've read back on my Kindle app?

Suddenly the information at the bottom of the page that I'm reading is gone. Typically there is a progress bar and then the percentage of pages I've read and the numbrt of pages I've read. Now, all I have is the progress bar. I don't know how to get that information back. There does not seem to be a setting.

Thank to both of you....it worked! I also found a settings button where all that can be turned on or off. They just had a revision on the app and the information on the page has changed.

Those can be the features of faulty battery. See if you can get Recovery Mode, don't Restore just enter Recovery Mode. Connect iPhone to computer or Charger. Hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds, see if it enters Recovery Mode. When you unplug Recovery Mode will go away. If it enters Recovery Mode fine, then most likely faulty battery. If you like you can always enter Recovery Mode and try to Restore.

I can't update my Pages'9 4.3 and its not compatible with newer versions???

I have had no problems with my Pages 4.3 which i installed a year ago, until the last month or 2. I have the app on my ipad but when i send pages docs from my ipad to my computer my computer tells me that i have an older version of pages and it wont open it, somethimes i can open but only view. I have Lion but cant pgrade my computer any further than that now since its an older machine now. So how can i work this on both? and why can i down load an application las year for it to be soo out of date that it doesnt function properly now?? realy fed up with appl about this, its causing me massive probems with my course work. I'm obviously now going to buy a whole new mac book to use pages. Any add ons or patches available for this combatibiluty issue? or anyone else have this problem?

IT could be that your iPad had upgraded to newer Pages or it can be that iCloud has. Send you documents through other channels like Dropbox or Mail

When I try to open the lastpass vault I get a page oops cant find and the tab has the word chrome in it

Okay... I downloaded a free program and now when I try to access my Lastpass vault a page comes up with an oops can not find. The tab on the page has the word Chrome. Now chrome was loaded along with the free download even though I checked the box not to do so. I uninstalled Chrome, however it still is somehow in my browser. How di I rid myself of this pest?

I have OU in selection screen. If I give 50000000 in the selection screen and my list displays all the active employees under that organization unit.
but under 50000000 OU,it contains some other OU like 500000010 nd so on.. (ie,sub OU). now i want to display the active emplyees of these sub OU also...
give me any function module to get this???

FF4 will not open home page -- say try again. I cannot get home page to come up and therefore cannot even get startedno

FF4 has been working just fine but recently stopped loading loading home page (igoogle) upon startup -- says could not load page try again -- try again returns same response and as a result I cannot go anywhere and am dead in the eater. IE work just fine but I prefer FF4. OS is XP

To do this your device should be firstly connected to computer and iTunes is open. Put your device into dfu mode: 1.turn off your device 2.press and hold power and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds and release power and keep holding home until iTunes says a device in recovery mode. now should be able to restore.

When I try to print, I get one page with a header and the background image, another page with the content, and a third page with a footer and background image. How can I make it print properly?

Also, if I print to a .pdf, the background does not show up even if I have the checkbox checked to print background image.

I did not have the HP printer software for Mac OSX installed properly. Once installed the problem went away.
