Get error 10240 in labview 6i Evaluation when I run my VI's from lv5.1

I want to run my VI's - created in Labview 5.1 - in Labview 6i Eval.The device PCI 6024E is detected in MAX, but I get "Error-10240 occurred at AI Group Config
Possible reasons:NI-DAQLV: The driver interface could not locate or open the driver".
Ni-Daq version 6.9
Operating System: Windows 98
CPU: Pentium
RAM: 64 MB
The test examples work with the device.

I think you posted your question in the wrong forum...this forum is for questions pertaining to the National Instruments product "Measure for Windows". In order to get the maximum exposure to an appropriate audience for your question, I recommend you post in the Measurement Hardware >> Multifunction I/O category.
Nevertheless, I will venture a guess as to why you are seeing this problem. If you brought your VIs over to LabVIEW 6i in an LLB, then you may have saved all the DAQ VIs (AI Config, AI Start, etc.) into that LLB. You should not have done that. LabVIEW needs to use its own copies of the DAQ VIs (in the vi.lib folder), not the ones in your LLB. There is a utility on the NI website that will go through an LLB and remove any vi.lib VIs from
that LLB...you should use this tool on your LLB, then re-load your VIs. I searched ni.com for "removing vi.lib" (without the quotes) and it was the first link that came up in the search results. After using this tool, your VI will then link to the DAQ subVIs in vi.lib and I imagine it will run without errors at that point.
If this suggestion does not help, you will probably get the best suggestions from the aforementioned Multifunction I/O forum.

I had the exact same issue, being on a mac. If you are on a mac and the connection error message occurs, then use this link http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg
It allows you to download it offline, which is what I used.

I got the solution from another post...
use the Finder to navigate to /library/preferences/SystemConfiguration and delete NetworkInterfaces.plist ( you will be prompted for username and password), then reboot. You will get a message about new network interface found--just reset the network info.
That did it for me.

How to get SYSDATE in the header section dynamically when we run the report

I have one more issue may i know how can i get the sysdate in the header section when i run the report.
as we have the requirement like this
In the header section
Run Date : ("sysdate").
How to get the sysdate dynamically in the RTF template, when i go across the google i found that header and footer section did not allow form fiields .
So is there any way to do it.

You cannot insert form fields in the Header section, but you can just insert the code to achieve this. For example: insert this in the header section to view the sysdate: You could format the date as you would like..

Since you are new to BI publisher, search the forum, review the Report Designer's guide for BI publisher. You will find that most of your basic questions are answered there and there are examples as well.

I have however made sure that this is the correct Apple ID and password that I am putting in. In the Mac App Store it works.
Do you have any solution?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Have you contacted iTunes Support and asked them why it's appearing ? If not then you will need to do so (we are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know why) :
- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
- click on your country's flag
- click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
- then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I would like to convert a matlab file into a .dll and use it in LabVIEW. However, when I run the .dll in LabVIEW I get an error stating "... Procedure not found". What could this be? Can anyone help me...

I wish to convert my Matlab files into .dll's so that I can use them in LabVIEW. I am using 'mcc' and 'mbuild' of Matlab to convert my .m files into .c and .dll.
When I try to run the .dll's in LabVIEW, I get an error message in a modal window stating some required .dll or procedure is not found.
How should I resolve this issue. Should I add any other Matlab .dll's in course of making my .dll?

Why do I get error -1074388985 at CAN Connect Terminals when the Channel API has been stopped?

While trying to establish synchronized CAN and DAQ using the Channel API, I get the error -1074388985 while attempting to connect the RTSI Clock to the master timebase. The error message occurs each time I try to run the example VIs shipped with LabVIEW 6.1. I am using a Series 2 PCI CAN card with a 6034E DAQ card. Any ideas? Tech support did not have a solution.

This warning means you have tried to change an attribute on a running object. This causes the warning and should not take place.
Use the "Initialize' function instead of the "initStart" Function, then change the Attribute and use the "Start" function to start the communication, or stop the communication using the "stop" Function before you change any Attribute and then start again.

Installed Firefox 4 on my Mac; getting error messages upon start up and when opening photos (i.e. ebay)

I updated to Firefox 4 and now continuously receive error messages. One example is when I'm in Ebay and click on a photo to enlarge I get the following error message.

Another example is upon start up of Firefox I receive an error message but I can't make it out since its half hidden on my desktop but I have to click "ok" in order to open up Firefox.
I'm barely learning how to use this Mac (a task in its self), but now I have these error messages? Can I just go back to my older version of Firefox to make these error messages go away?

Thank you very, very much. This was my very first time trying to solve a technical issue on my Mac... your advice worked great. I disabled all the add-on apps and it solved my issue. Don't know if I should have disabled all but it seemed to work... Thanks again for the advice.

If you were using ios7 beta prior to the update and your now stuck in recovery mode, others have figured it out and ive talked with senior advisement on the matter to flag this issue. All you need to do apperently is go to a different computer and "recover" your iphone to ios 7 through that. A lot of us developers have had this issue.
