Just purchased a new HP computer with window 8.1 64 bit. Tried to download PS but the download fails. General error message states retry or contact customer support (49).

I am trying to install my apps through Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop and all I'm getting is 'Download Error: Please try again or Contact Support'. I don't have any support number, or anything like that. If I try to reload, it doesn't do anything.

We haven't had any issues reported for vzw.com so I'd like to ask if you if you've tried a different browser? Have you tried to complete a shutdown/restart? Lastly, at what part of the transaction are you getting this message?

I can't upload photos to facebook from iPhoto 11 (9.4.3) Message says :"An unknown error occurred, please try again later"

I have a new MacBook Pro 15" Retina with OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.3 (just did the combo update)
iPhoto 11 (9.4.3) is installed and freshly updated.
I used to share photos from iPhoto directly from my previous computer (a 2009 MacBook Pro running OSX Leopard).
It doesn't seem to work anymore on my new computer. When I try to connect to facebook, I keep having the same message :"An unknown error occurred, please try again later".
I am in China, where Facebook is blocked, but I have a VPN on (Astrill), simulating a connection from LA. I have no problem at all to access Facebook from Chrome, Safari and Skype.
I am sure that I am typing the right username and password.
I made sure iPhoto wasn't blocked in my facebook app settings.
I tried to delete the account, closing iPhoto and relaunching. It still does not work.
I tried to delete the com.apple.iphoto.plist from Library/Preferences (as suggested on another thread in this forum). It didn't do anything.
It is getting very frustrating and I really don't want to throw my new computer through the room. Anyone managed to solve this issue ?

It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:

I am setting up breakpoints in WCEM, tab JAVA EE then from menu RUN->Toggle brekpoints and then debug configuration.
the breakpoints are in several places in handler class BITDetailviewVCHandler class including method downloadBITData.

Now I'm having trouble "only" with Firefox, because only it is showing now famous message: "An error ocurred, please try again later".
Ie, the solution to host videos on YouTube to display on websites, no longer "Cross Browser".

I cannot reply to email on Outlook. No specific error message. "Sorry looks like there was an error. Please try again."

I am not able to reply to any email in my Outlook Inbox. It doesn't matter if it's a new email or one I've already opened. I get no specific error message, just "Sorry looks like there was an error. Please try again."

Boot from the Leopard DVD (I assume you are installing Leopard since you've posted in the Leopard forum.) After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. After the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the left side list then click on the Partition tab. Select one partition from the drop down Partition menu, set the format type to Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) from the Format drop down menu. Click on the Options button and be sure the partition map is set to GUID (GPT) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button. After the partitioning has been completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with installing OS X.
If you choose to install Tiger follow the same procedure as above except boot from the OS X Installer Disc One that came with the computer (assuming that is Tiger.)
