Get GoLive to code the old way.
I recently tried using GoLive 9 to modify table cells and also the background color of the page. GoLive 9 now does this with a style setting in the header of the page. I don't want this type of coding, I need GoLive 9 to modify the cells in my tables the old HTML way and the background color with the controls in the BODY tag. Is there a setting to tell GoLive 9 to code like CS2 somewhere?
Nope, that is how the new GL functions, there is no way to turn it off. There is an action available that will strip it out once it is created though...

IMHO, if you have it still, going back to CS2 would be better for your blood pressure. You are going run into all kinds of "what the @$%#!" situations with GL 9.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have an 06' macbook and I just bought an 07' macbook.. The 06' has os x 10.6 but the 07' has 10.5.. I no longer have the disk for snow leopard. Is there ANY way to get snow leopard from the old computer to the other without having to buy it again?
Technical issues aside, there's still a legal issue.
Neither 2006 nor 2007 MacBooks shipped with Snow Leopard 'factory' installed. OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard became available in September 2009. So you purchased and installed a Snow Leopard upgrade disc on the 2007 system at some point.
If your Snow Leopard upgrade was a single-user copy, then legally, you need to purchase another one for the second computer. If your Snow Leopard upgrade was a Family Pack 5-user license, then you're good to go.

Worst case, single-user Snow Leopard upgrade discs are $29 retail, direct from Apple. I'd hate to have two computers and no OS installation CD's for whatever version I'm currently using. -
When I go into iTunes (the latest update) now, it takes over the entire screen is difficult to remove. Is there a setting I can change in it to have it behave the old way?
I presume you are runnning iTunes on either an OS X 10.7 or OS X 10.8 system. Move the cursor to the very top of the screen so that the menu bar appears, then click the blue box with the arrows at the very right corner of the menu bar, or press Shift-Command-F. That will switch iTunes back to a normal window, which it should then remember for future launches.

How do I close programs with IOS 7? The old way of closing programs by double tapping on the button, holding down an icon until it started shaking and a red X appears does not work. Every program I opened appears. Turning on and off the phone does nopt work.
I just found out. Above the icon is a copy of the open page of the program(s). You slide the pages up to close.

They changed the way we see our appointments. That's awful! Is there a way to chnage back to the "old" way when you could see all your appointments at a glance????
Maybe I'm fool, but how I get the "day view"? I have three options on the top line, an icon that seems a computer (a square and two lines), a magnifying glass to search a especific item and a "plus" to add appointments. The "day view" isn't any more there - that's the point!!! Using the first icon a get the full month-that uses 2/3 of the screen- and two lines of appointments...To see the rest I have to slide up and down the two lines taking care to not touch the month...

How to type accents on letters (the old way)
Typing accents on letters (á, ë and ø) is handy on Yosemite if you just needs 2 or 3. If you have to type a French text it's a ****. It's slowing down typing big time.

Yes, go to system prefs/keyboard/input sources and use the plus and add buttons to activate the keyboard called US International PC. Then choose that in the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen. -

I have an old ipod touch, and have just purchased a new 4th Gen one. How do I get my Apps from the old one to the new one. I've had to wipe the hard drive on my Pc so they aren't in my I tunes.

History works differently in 4.0 - how do I get it to work the proper way?
In prior firefox history operation, I could click and select many individual links in the history list and then open them all in tabs. Now, in 4.0, it opens one tab as soon as I click on it and will not allow me to select multiples. This would be liveable, except it keeps reordering the tabs based on what I just clicked. This problem is enough for me to return to 3.6. I hope there is an option I can toggle that returns me to the old way that history worked. I looked and could not find one - but it might be buried somewhere.
You didn't mention where you are accessing your history from - the "view". <br />Menu bar History drop-down, the Library window, or the History Sidebar

When I click a history item it opens in a new tab, and as I move down the history list and click additional items they all open in new tabs, too. -
How do you get Photos to recognize the “old” iPhoto Library on an external drive without it copying it to the internal drive on the computer which is low in HD space?
Launch Photos while holding down the alt/options key.
This will show the Library Chooser panel. Select the library on the external drive. Photos will create a Photos Library on the same drive.
Photos may not be able to open the library, however, if your external drive has an incompatible file system. It needs to be formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled) and locally mounted, not a remotely mounted volume, as described here: Format external drives to Mac OS Extended before using with Aperture -
