Get in, if u have same problem with DR4-A
The major problem is my dr4-a locked up my computer, see if anyone can help me
This is what happened:
Everytime I use "Nero CD-DVD Speed" which by Nero 6 Ultra Editon to running overburn test on CD-R Disc, my Dr4-a Won't stop, the light LED keep flash, then I try to restart computer by push restart button, my dr4-a won't read any CD or DVD Disc. Then I thought my windows XP have problem, so i use my WinXP installation Disc try to boot up from dos, and it still doesn't work, won't read,
the only way that i found to slove this problem is turn off computer then turn on,
then it can be works again.
I have another plextor 12/10/32A , works fine with overburn test.
my nero 6 Ultra version: 6.3.0.2
power supply : enermax EG651P-V(E) 530W
and i tried to reinstall winxp, use different ide cable and power connector,update to last version firmware: 2.50. also tried with my other computer which use asus p3b-f (intel Chippset) motherboard, current computer have Epox motherboard (VIA) Chippset. Still doesn't work, just wonder if this is burner problem, should I Send back to RMA.
I have had intermittent computer lock ups on my backup computer because of the DR4-A. I have just found a way to consistently cause the lock up.
I backed up some files using Roxio Easy CD&DVD Creator 6. I spanned the backup over 3 Verbatim DVD+R's. Using the Roxio retrieve program I can retrieve files from the DVD until the program ask me to insert the next DVD to finish retrieving more files. When I put the next DVD in and hit "retry" to remount the disk that is when everything locks up. You just can't hit the reset button or CAD, you have to turn the computer off before you can do anything at all.
This has happened since I got this drive. I just flashed an hour ago and it did not change a thing.
From what I am reading in this forum, it looks like MSI has no clue as to what is wrong with their drives or are unable to deal with all of the problems.
If MSI is reading this, my backup system is:
Duron 1G
128 Ram
40G drive
WIN98SE
Roxio Easy CD&DVD Creator 6 with the latest build as of today.
Try spanning a backup over two or more DVD's. Run retrieve on the first DVD and use it to restore files from one of the other DVD's.
If it works let me know what you have so I can fix my problem.

Try updating your drives firmware. Click 'Firware Updates' on the right hand side of this page, then follow the instructions and download the update, then install. See if that helps. Its worth updating the firmware anyway :P -

Ipad air using iOS 8.1.1 refuses to mirror or use airplay. Same problem with iPhone 5c.
I use an iPad Air to deliver keynote presentations via Airplay using Apple TV. Did this a few months ago no problems. Tried yesterday to deliver a presentation iPad refuses to mirror/airplay. Both are on same wifi - signal is good. Select tick box for airplay (mirroring tab is selected) but nothing happens! After barely a few seconds tick box jumps and selection is removed. Tried hundreds of times same result. Have tried powering down and re-staring all the equipment no joy. Restarted router no joy. Interesting to note have same problem with iPhone 5C (and 4S which is still on IOS 7). Any help gratefully received. Thank you.
By accident solved my own problem. Apple TV and iPad were working on the same wifi network, close to the router, with a strong signal. That signal is boosted to the far corners of the house via a network based on the Airport Extreme & Express units. Perversely Airplay & mirroring only works when picking up that weaker wifi signal via a different channel! Now to see if a similar solution works for the iPhones.

I am having same problem with apple tv need 4.4 version and can not find solution this a brand new product out of box yesterday why would it not already have updated version. I am getting frustrated that I can not get this mirroring icon to work. I have tried all suggestions in this thread and nothing works. I also hooked up to laptop through iTunes with micro USB nothing!!!
The new appletv software came out 2 or 3 days ago, how would Apple get it on the device in the box in a store?

I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN . the WLC are providing the HQ and one of the Branches the Wireless services .
Am using all the available 9 SSIDs at the HQ , and am using only 4 of it at the Brnche.
The problem that i have are happening only at the Branch office as i cant room between the SSIDs within Diferent VLANs but i can do it with the one that pointing to the same VLAN. Once the client ( Laptop/Phone ) connected to one of the SSIDs. it imposiible to have him connected to the other ones with Different VLAN. meanwhile, It says its connected to the other SSID but its not getting IP from that pool.

Tx Power Level 4 ..........Well you need to understand the behavior of h-reap or what it's called now, FlexConnect. In this mode, the clients are still remembers on the WLC until the session timer/idle timer expires. So switching between SSID's in h-reap will not be the same when switching when the AP's are in local mode.
Take a look at the client when connected in FlexConnect in the WLC GUI monitor tab. Thus will show you what ssid and vlan the client is on. Now switch to a different ssid and compare this. It's probably the same because the client has not timed out. Now go back to the other ssid and look again. Now on the WLC, remove or delete the client and then switch to the other ssid at the same time. Or switch SSID's and then remove the client. The client will join the new ssid and in the monitor tab, you should see the info.
There is no need to have clients have multiple SSID's unless your testing. Devices should only have one ssid profile configured to eliminate any connectivity issues from the device wanting to switch SSID's.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -
I have a problem with my iPhone 5 stopped working the sleep / power and simultaneously refused to obey the HOME button. I can not use either one or the other. I can not enable or disable the device, display lights up when you plug the charger. same display works fine as it is surprising. or maybe someone knows what is the reason for this? is there any way to solve this problem?
More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

1) Apps are not part of the backup, only data stored by 3rd party apps. But you can redownload the apps for free again if you use the same account you did when you bought them the first time. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
2) See this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 and find out what's in your backup.
3) Backup your itunes+ library (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1382 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751), which will copy your Mobile Applications folder, and save your iphone backup folder as well

I have a problem with the external sound of my iPod, when I take the headphones the music keeps playing and the ipod recognizes still have a headset connected. how do I get external sound out?
- Try insering and removing the headphone plug a dozen times or so.
- Try cleaning out the headphone jack in the iPod.

I've switched from Google to Firefox because I was so tired of Google crashed all the time. Now I have the same problem with Firefox, Bank id, file downloading, accessing Web pages, none of it works. What is the error?
Ronnie.When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment and displays the Mozilla Crash Reporter. Are you seeing that, or is Firefox just freezing and you're killing it?
Assuming you have crashes, you can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "[[Firefox Crashes]]" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash report IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.
If that's not possible, have you tried Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

Yes, the iBook should run even with no battery installed.
These are the four most common possibilities when the battery will not charge:
(1) there is something wrong with your battery
(2) there is something wrong with your power adapter
(3) there is something wrong with your power input board (the part that contains the port where you plug in the adapter)
(4) there is something wrong with your logic board
Since you have eliminated all the possibilities except (4), it is likely that your logic board is having problems. The PMU (Power Management Unit) is part of the logic board, and it may be going out (hence, temporarily working again when you reset it). Since the iBook is not running reliably without the battery in place (as it should), replacing the battery most likely would be futile.
When a computer gets to be five years old, it seems a bit short-sighted to pay very much for repairs, just to have something else go wrong sooner rather than later. Have you had a look at the hugely improved specs on the new MacBooks? Is it time for a new portable to avoid embarrassment during your presentations? It sounds like that could be your best option. -
Hi there. I have a problem with sound on my 4s. When you move the volume slider up, it sounds well. But when I move the volume slider down I will hear barely and unclear sound in my headphone.I tried different headphones but result is same as old one.Help

(A) Restart iPad
1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

It took your service 1 month to finally understand why this happened to me, and it took me tens of emails to you and 3 hours of telephone conversation to find out the reason for my problem. Vitas DijokasWell, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
